I’ve been going to Dr. Ashpole for more than a decade. She’s the best dentist I’ve ever had anywhere. Super competent, great hygienists, and a pleasant atmosphere. Four years ago, I moved permanently to the Georgia mountains. I travel 100 miles in order to continue to avail myself of her services. And I’d do it is it were 200 miles. She’s that good. Ed W. I started going to this practice in 1994 (if you can believe it)–it was always a terrific place, but all the more so when Dr. Ashpole took over. The entire staff is fully focused on the well being of the patients. On the occasions when I have needed care for dental emergencies as well as for the routine visits, I always leave the dentist feeling fortunate to receive such outstanding care.

Dr Ashpole is wonderful. She is friendly, has a lot of energy, and clearly likes her patients as well as her colleagues and staff. She is just as considerate about my options — routinely offering affordable services — as my teeth. I never waited long for my appointment. They were able to get me in quickly (that day!) when I broke a molar. They were able to see quickly when i was experiencing discomfort after root canal (btw, the root canal was seriously no big deal). Dr Ashpole made a serious adjustment with no charge. Her colleagues and staff are very nice, knowledgeable and professional. Both Juliette and Caza have assisted Dr Ashpole and I am pleased with the care and teamwork they showed. Dr Ashpole sent me a sympathy card when my cat died. How many dentists do you know who would do that? As I say, she’s very personable. She is a caring, compassionate person who is passionate about her profession as well as her clients. I highly, highly recommend Dr Ashpole and her entire practice.

I absolutely love Dr Ashpole. She took care of me in my dire need. I was battling high blood pressure that at that time couldn’t get under control ,while also dealing with Nero issues and last but not least going through premenopausal!! No one could help me I had to many different conditions!! But I was on so much pain with my tooth I needed help my dental insurance company would only cover some of my cost !! I am the care giver to my husband ( disable Veterans also to my Son Disablity and my mother so for me to get get afflicted was sooo hard if a challenge for our family . But my GOD Dr Ashpole and her staff not only helped me, she worked with all the many apt. I still had to attend for my husband,,son and mom!! She blessed me with my assurance issues I truly thank GOD for her. She an honorable Dentist /Women who goes above & beyond I Highly Recommend Dr Ashpole being an military family going around the states my family & I been to many different Dentist’s ! I am always so happy when I am in Dr. Ashpole’s office, it’s like a Meg Ryan Disney movie in her office. Seriously you feel like there are cartoon birds and rabbits following her cheerful self, as you hear her go from patient to patient. It’s such a happy uplifting place and she does fantastic work and is always thinking of your pocketbook… This is even after I just had a crown (done by a different dentist) redone! I can’t say enough about how wonderful she is. Genuinely caring about who you are as a person. Best dentist I’ve ever had and I’m 55… So I’ve been to quite a few. And her hygienists are great too.

My appointment with Dr. Ashpole included an x-ray and an assessment of a severe toothache in one of my molars. Tracey, the administrator, was extremely accommodating during my initial phone call — fitting me in the next morning and letting me know about the new patient forms available for completion from their website. It was clear when I arrived that their office had a packed schedule, and it was no surprise. Dr. Ashpole combines confidence and knowledge with excellent “bedside manner”. Rather than criticize whatever behavior may have led to my situation, she showed sympathy and explained what the options were to move forward. Juliet, Dr. Ashpole’s assistant, was also quite courteous. When I left, it was apparent that they did not intend to “nickel and dime” me for their time and work. I highly recommend them to anyone in need.

I lost a filling on one of my wisdom teeth last night. I called Dr Ashpole’s clinic this morning and they were able to see me the same day. After a brief exam of my tooth by her assistant Dr. Ashpole spoke to me about my options: install a very expensive crown, remove the tooth (ouch) or grind down the surface of the tooth to eliminate rough spots. Due to my limited budget and aversion to pain I went with option #3 and so far this solution seems to be working. Dr. Ashpole and everyone at her clinic are friendly and professional and actually make going to the dentist an enjoyable experience.

Dr Ashpole along with the entire staff go beyond ordinary to extraordinary! I’ve had chronic tooth issues my whole life and I’m all to familiar with the dental chair and a long line of dentists. Dr Ashpole is by far the most experienced, efficient, friendly, and HONEST in the business! She has salvaged many of my major dental issues into low cost yet completely effective alternatives. She’s a genius and there’s no doubt she loves what she does. My wife and 2 young kids go to Dr Ashpole as well, she is just fantastic!

Just went to Dr Ashpole this morning, and I have to say I went in expecting to be lectured about not coming regularly enough or I need to floss more and so on. I guess I always expect to hear it because it’s true, but I just don’t want to be reminded. Very warm and friendly. Had a dental emergency yesterday, during the covid 19 crisis. Not something one wants. They took excellent precautions even opening the doors for me so I wouldn’t touch anything. Each office for a procedure is only used once in a week. Nothing is touched and it is cleaned only after a weeks quarantine. So where I was won’t be used again until at least a week later. She can only take emergencies so she can rotate these rooms. She also is supporting her staff by continuing to pay them. And just received her small business loan to continue that ability. I could go on about the other safety measures but suffice it to say I give her superb marks for friendliness and safety, as much as can be expected. I was just lucky she was in though because she can take very few patients a week.

I have lots of experience with dentists, and Dr. Ashpole is the best of the bunch. I’ve been going to her for 8 or 9 years, and I haven’t had a single negative experience. She knows her stuff, is as gentle as a dentist can be, and empathizes with any pain you experience. All of her staff are great – super nice, very competent, and easy to work with. I’ve recommended this practice to lots of friends, and every single person who’s gone there has good things to say. I have several friends with intense fear of dentists, who hadn’t gone to the dentist in many years who have gone to Dr. A and come out smiling. I pay too much for bad dental coverage because she’s not a member of my company’s DMO, and it’s absolutely worth it. If necessary, I’d pay straight out of pocket

Dr. Ashpole is a great dentist with a wonderful staff. I went to see her with my dental insurance running out in one week. She went beyond the norm with a heavy appointment schedule and worked me in to get some detailed dental work done. Picture this: you are driving and eating a snack when your crown falls out of your mouth. Your dentist is out of town and you don’t know what to do so you call your spouse (who is out of town) for help like they would know what to do. Oh and it’s almost 4 PM! Well, this is true. I was out of town and my husband called asking what to do. I have heard amazing things about Dr Ashpole for years, but my dentist was fine and I was happy. This was an emergency though!!! I called and spoke to the receptionist, who was super nice, and explained the situation. She put me on hold for less than 30 seconds. When she picked back up, she said she could squeeze him in at 8 am the next morning as a new patient and would get his tooth fixed. When you hear about great customer service, this would be an example of it. My husband said that everyone at the practice was super nice and even hinted that I should consider making the switch. Knowing all that they did for us, they will almost definitely be getting a call from me to be added as a new patient too! Thank you for saving his tooth…and my sanity!

No one likes going to the dentist but I can’t imagine anyone not liking Dr. Elise Ashpole and her practice. She isn’t in my insurance network and I still won’t go anywhere else. Latest good experience: I had a pain in a tooth and got an appointment in two days. I probably could have been seen sooner but it wasn’t a lot of pain and I told them that. They brought me in, took an x-ray. Dr. Ashpole came in, poked around the gum area, numbed me up and then called in the hygienist. She and Dr Ashpole poked around some more and cleaned the gum area with ultrasound. They both ruled out a few diagnoses, decided I needed to see a periodontist and sent me across the street. Before going, Dr. Ashpole gave me a painkiller prescription (I need it now). The good part: she wouldn’t charge me anything. I was only there about a half hour but I had an x-ray taken, was set up by the dental assistant and examined by two professionals. And then provided a prescription. All free. My other experiences – cleaning and cavity filling – have all been excellent. I’m not going anywhere else for dentistry, even if I have to pay 100% myself. And it seems I’ll have trouble doing that if she won’t bill me! Oh yeah, and they’re all really nice.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Ashpole. I originally had an appointment in January with my husband for a cleaning, but needed to be seen sooner for another issue & I was worked in considering they aren’t taking new patients right now. The ladies in the front office were so pleasant and helpful and made my first impression an exceptional one. Dr. Ashpole is very personable and doesn’t push unnecessary treatment if unneeded and I appreciate that. I would recommend everyone, however I want to make sure I can get in. Beautiful office with beautiful people and I understand why the wait time is so long. People aren’t going anywhere with Dr. Ashpole!

Elise Ashpole is, flatly, awesome. I went to her after a traumatic experience with another dentist left me with crumbling and unfinished fillings; she saw me very quickly and took care of everything. She understands about cost. I have a (dead) back tooth that broke after a $2K restoration; it doesn’t bother me, and she’s the first dentist I’ve seen who hasn’t insisted I pay another $2K to get it restored again…she recommended it, but she didn’t insist, and she hasn’t brought it up since. I LOVE THAT. She’s also working with me to find remineralizing alternatives to fluoride (I’m hypothyroid). She charged me half of what I expected to pay for the work she performed. She’s fantastic!

Dr. Ashpole is the only dentist I will go to because she is honest, a rare quality among dentists. After my prior dentist Binh H. Nguyen, DMD suggested I had 3 cavities I was suspicious. A friend recommended Dr. Ashpole. 8 years later, Dr. Ashpole still haven’t discovered these imaginary cavities. I am so thankful to have found her. I trust no one else and don’t mind driving across town to see her.
