Dr. Zavari and her staff are AMAZING! I work the night shift and Kim, who runs their front desk, was very accommodating with my schedule and worked with me to ensure my appointment worked well with my work schedule. I hadn’t been to the dentist is upwards of 7 years and was nervous but they explained EVERYTHING from the billing before I even got in the examination chair to what they recommended and why the procedures were needed. I have a friend whose last dentist appointment was treated more like a used car transaction where the next person she saw after the dentist was their finance person going over payment options for what they recommended so I had my guard up when two more appointments were recommended but Dr. Zavari was nothing but professional. She took the time to explain why she was recommending the appointments and pointed out the trouble areas in my mouth. She made sure all of my questions were answered and was able to read my face when I was confused about something. Once again before I left Kim explained what the next two visits were going to look like financially (no hidden fees!) and I was able to make my next two appointments then and there! I don’t know if anyone can say they’re EXCITED to go back to the dentist but I’m 100% less nervous about it. If you’re nervous about going back to the dentist after a few years or just wants an attentive staff look no further!

I was nervous about going to the dentist because I hadn’t been to one for a while. I felt so comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. I was greeted by name and told to grab a cup of coffee. Everyone I encountered was super friendly and I felt like I had been a customer there for years. My cleaning was easy and I the hygienist was constantly checking on me to make sure I was comfortable. As I left, I was handed a carnation!!! Who gets a carnation at a dentist office….or anywhere for that matter. Top notch facility and super awesome service!!!! A+ A+ 🙂

Elite Dental Care is the best! Dr. Zavari truly cares about her patients, patiently answers questions,and has a passion for her work — and it shows! I have never felt rushed and I’ve only felt welcomed and appreciated. The staff is incredible. I’ve had routine dental work, cleanings, fillings, crown work, deep cleaning and Invisaligns. All of the work is top-notch. You won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Zavari’s team is a pleasure to be around. The team of Dental Hygienists were very knowledgeable and explained issues in a way that I could understand. Their treatment plans helped get me back on track, and I’m looking forward to continuing to improve my dental health with their assistance. I highly recommend Elite Dental Care and Dr. Zavari!

I “adopted” Dr Zavari last year when moving back to Portland. I am someone who 1)hate going to the dentist and 2) really cannot afford to spend much on doctors in general. BUT Dr Zavari has made a huge difference . Great dentist, relaxing atmosphere, fun staff, reasonable prices. Dr Zavari will definitely remain my dentist for a long time.

I am a fussy patient. And I don’t like dentists. Scared to death of them. I hadn’t been completely happy with my prior dentist’s work, so a few months ago I looked for a new one to do general cleaning. And found Dr. Zavari. That experience was nothing dramatic and nothing unusual. In/out…clean teeth. Done. YAY! Then, a few months later…broken tooth. Bummer. 🙁 Back to Dr. Zavari. First appt…what can be done? A crown. 2nd appt…prep for the crown. That was unpleasant actually. 🙁 I kept choking on the water. BUT!…they were accommodating in letting me take breaks as often as I asked. Which was often. Man, I hate being drilled on. Finally got the temp crown put on. It seemed to fit ok. Nothing was hurting. AND Dr. Zavari made sure it fit around my existing ortho retainer that I still wear religiously every night. Bonus! Odd thing though, I guess I have really white teeth and they are opaque or something. So Dr. Zavari didn’t have any samples to match my teeth in her office. 3rd appt…Dr. Zavari sent me to their lab to get matched on-site to the sample teeth. The techs at the lab were awesome and drew all kinds of pictures and took photos to get my crown to look like my other teeth. I couldn’t help be a little wary though. 4th appt…crown has arrived and got put on. I was so nervous. I wanted to be numbed up. Dr. Zavari talked to me about that and I decided to power through no numbing to ensure a good fit. There was no need to get numbed up because it barely hurt. The best part?? You would not believe this fit! And you would not believe the look of this crown!!! I have NEVER had a crown fit SO good and look SO great! I am completely stunned. Completely. At first I thought it was a little crazy to have 4 appts for one crown, but now I know why. It is so great to meet a dentist that is just as fussy as I am! I am totally happy with Dr. Zavari now. In fact, I’m SO happy that I am going back to get another crown replaced in a few months because it has never fit well and it looks awful. Me? Scared of the dentist? Going back voluntarily? Crazy talk. But I will definitely be going back. I can’t wait to have the other crown fixed!
