I love this dental office! I found them through yelp, and I’m so glad for all the reviews leading me to them. Dr. K and staff are so caring honest and gentle. I honestly look forward to my appointments! My kids (ages 5 and 7 also like coming)! My son was hit in the mouth and Dr K was so caring and monitored the tooth very closely multiple times (every week then every two weeks at no extra charge) until she was sure there were no further complications.

Dr Kay is top notch. Western Dental gets a lot of flack here on Yelp, but the Burbank office looks brand new! Get an early appt to avoid the rush and wait time. Dr Kay is very friendly, smells good (hey, that matters right) and has what I look for in ANY Dr…confidence. When it really comes down to it, who cares about personality, that’s a plus, but I want my dentist to know what they are doing. She does, and has all the other qualities. As for the staff, the X-ray tech was a good guy…personable and also confident. Made the time go by quick. I waited about 20 mins in the chair and fell asleep. Why not? The only hang-up for me is the open rooms…there are no closed rooms like we are used to here for the exams which means you hear everything around you. The big issue with the dentist is the auditory aspect…drills especially. The other tech’s are all young (to be expected) and the quality drops. My office management advice is: SPEAK UP when you work w/a patient. Project your voice from the office gal to the techs. I shouldn’t have to wonder what you said…and do not act like you’re in a rush! No patient wants to feel like they are not your total focus. Pretty basic, but a discipline young people usually do not have. When they do, they stand out from the pac

I am so thankful for Dr. K and the staff! They are all so wonderful, from the front desk to even their lab! I have a complex situation when it comes to my teeth and this is the first dentist in a while who didn’t completely give up on me at the first look. I didn’t have much expectations being that I’ve been through it all when it comes to dental work but they stayed positive and gave me a sense of hope. They really moved mountains for me and worked hard on my case so I couldn’t be more grateful. I don’t regret giving them a shot!

It was difficult to find a dentist that wouldnt charge me in an arm and a leg for services. My aunt referred me to Encino Friendly Dental Center. And although it was a little far from home, I thought I would give it a try. I am was beyond happy that I made the decision to come here. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and Dr. K is amazing. I truly love this place and dont even care about driving from the Westside to the valley, just to come here. They give you quality service and always have a smile on their face. I truly recommend them to anyone.

Dr K was extremely nice and the whole office staff caring and friendly.  I love my clean teeth!  Valerie did an excellent job cleaning and was very gentle the whole time. Thank you Jody for working with my busy schedule and your kindness.  Really great office, highly recommend! !!!

Dr. K has done outstanding dental work for me and my family.  My daughter is scared of dentists but Dr. K is great with her. Hygienist Valerie has been cleaning my teeth since Reagan was President.  Highly recommended.

After seeing Dr. Kay for about a year and finally finishing all my major dental work, I wanted to come back and give an update. I simply have no words for how wonderful this office is. Everything from their flexibility, to the friendliness of ALL their staff, to their amazing care, to their willingness to work with you however they can… I am just speechless. Not once during any of my (many many) visits here have I ever felt any pain or fear, they always make me smile and laugh even though dental work is never fun, it doesn’t phase me in the least while I am here. I used to be very tense and would cry and shake in the dental chair- at Encino Friendly Dental I am totally relaxed, one time I even fell asleep while getting a filling. I have never ever seen anyone here NOT smiling and talking to the staff as if they are family. That’s how it feels, like you are among friends. And in my experience with insurance and everything I’m not completely poor after all that work either so that’s great too lol. The staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate me and give me the best results possible and it really shows. I love love love them and the work they’ve done is impeccable. I now have the perfect smile and teeth I have been lacking for so long and it feels AWESOME! So thank you to the bottom of my heart to Dr. Kay and Valerie and Jodi, and the awesome assistants as well. This place will make you enjoy going to the dentist! 🙂

Dr. Kay and the staff are great! Valerie has been cleaning my teeth for years. It’s not something I enjoy but she makes it easy and fun. Dr Kay is unlike any other dentist I’ve experienced. She is honest, caring and I always feel taken care of. I’ve moved several times through the years and I always go out of my way to come here.

Dr K & her staff are fantastic. Full disclosure: I apparently have teeth so perfect, they can only be explained with wild, unsubstantiated theories like alien DNA or pixie dust. HOWEVER, I suspect the doctor & her staff Jody, Mike, & Valerie would be professional & lovely if I came in with a set of crumbling death fangs, too. Professional & kind, you cannot help but have a good experience here. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

GO HERE! They are EXTREMELY GENTLE!  I have been absolutely terrified of the dentist until I came here! I’m 28. That’s a lot of bad experiences, all erased by one visit to this office. And even the second visit, which was much more extensive work, was a breeze. I have 4 more visits, and I’m actually pretty calm about it. I actually can’t wait to get it done. Usually I’d start coming up with reasons why I could just put it off. Seriously, they even taught me some things I’ve NEVER been told from past dentists. It’s as if all the other dentists have been too rough and didn’t know what they were doing. EVERYONE IN THIS OFFICE KNOWS WHAT THEY’RE DOING! I love it. I could’ve fallen asleep once Dr. K got to the 3rd cavity, but I had to remember to keep my mouth open lol ….seriously, not exaggerating. Go here.

My teeth were very neglected and I had to take care of them, I was very afraid to go to a dentist and the result would not be good,I found the Encino Friendly Dental Center I came to them for a meeting and after a few days I came to the treatment and I was very pleased with my choice of results Excellent staff, excellent staff and short staff! thank you very much for the service.

Dr. K and her staff are very friendly and professional. I had an amazing experience .I am so very happy I found Dr K. She changed my life !!! I did veneers 10 years ago ,on my first 6 teeth, they were so sensitive ,so I decided to replace them .the second dentist was worse than first …same problem.. I waited 4 more years , I couldn’t handle the sensitivity anymore so I replaced them again ! This time they were ugly very unnatural look and color ,and of course sensitive again !!! One of my facial customer who is very picky ,highly recommended Dr K . It was so scary and hard for me to go through the process AGAIN !!BUT OMG , I am so GLAD I did it !!! I never felt any pain during the process nor after !!! My smile is so amazing , natural and white!! I get lots of compliments!!! And all SENSITIVITY is totally gone !!! I am so  happy that words can’t express my feeling . Thank you so very much Dr K!!! You are amazing and very knowledgeable!!

Dr. Kay and her staff deserve more than 5 stars! The office, staff, and Dr. Kay are extremely nice and very friendly. Dr. Kay went above and beyond with my dental needs. I am forever thankful. DR.KAY YOU ARE THE BEST!

I am compelled to write a review because this whole office is Amazingly Awesome. From the receptionist, to the X-ray guy, to the hygienist, and of course the most amazing dentist!!!! Everyone is so friendly, warm, compassionate, and knows what they are doing. I first took my 2 kids ages 5 and 6 to see Dr. K. She was so gentle and patient. My kids love going to the dentist because of Dr. K. I on the other hand am extremely afraid of the dentist and haven’t been for 10 to 15 years. I can’t even remember when I went last. The reception when I walked in was warm and welcoming. The receptionist made me feel so comfortable as I expressed my fears. Dr. K was compassionate and did not judge me for my lack of dental care. She was so nurturing. The hygienist was sooooooo great. It did not hurt at all!!!! She had an amazing numbing rinse and with all my years of build up and neglect, I cannot believe how easy it was. She was able to clean my teeth without it hurting. She was easy going and explained everything she was doing. I am sooooooo happy that I finally found a dentist and dental office that I can say I am excited to go to. Wow. They are all the best team in an office that I have ever experienced. Thank you Encino Friendly Dental!!!!!

At 73 y/o I’ve seen many, many dentists over the years and hated like hell going to them, but Dr. Karamanian is so sweet, kind, caring and compassionate that I actually look forward to seeing her. Not only that, but she doesn’t scalp you with the money. I went to two other dentists to get a quote on what I needed to be done and she charged half of what the other dentists quoted. This team of dentists, headed by Dr. Kay – provided the Best dental service I had during all my 65 years. I visited this office more than a year ago (about 16 months ago). I received all different kind of services from Dr. Kay and her associates: bridge installed, fillings, cleaning. They are friendly, and very professional. I also had a root canal service – and, so sorry forgot the name of the person who made this – but she made also a really great job (!), and I would love to write review for her also. Technician who made bridge (Armen) – did a great job. I felt comfortable from the first day after it was installed. This bridge “works” well. I highly recommend Dr. Kay, and this office for my friends and anybody who is looking for good dentists, and great services.

This would have to be the best dental center I have ever been to! I am a part of a family of 7 and we all genuinely love it here. Everyone on the staff is so sweet and so caring and they treat you like your family and I am so glad to have joined this family. Highly recommend this place to everyone! LOVE IT!

Dr. Kay is a wonderful dentist and person.  Our whole family sees Dr. Kay and she has done extensive work on my husband.  He has had extensive bridge work and cosmetic dentistry done and she has been great with financing and working with our budget.  My daughter and I see her as well and she is the best dentist we have ever seen.  All her dental hygenists and office staff are helpful and friendly — a great place!

I have to say that Dr. K is absolutely my favorite dentist of all time. I have had a lot of bad experiences in the past and she has calmed all of my fears. She takes the time to listen what you need and does a great job on her work. Cavity free for 4 years now thanks to her. You do have to pay for parking but they validate it for an hour but be sure to bring cash. The parking lot does not take CC which is a bummer, luckily there is a little pharmacy that has an ATM.

I wish I could give more stars!…Dr.K is literally Heaven sent!..she made me feel very relaxed/comfortable,Jody the receptionist was very helpful & nice even the X-ray tech(sorry I forgot her name)was Awesome,just an overall great experience for my 1st visit,But definitely NOT my last!…she explained to me what work I needed done very thoroughly & the cost wasn’t as expensive as I thought!The office is very clean & the music they have playing is very pleasant as well.
