Going to see a dentist is not my idea of having a great time. I always felt like it was a chore that needed to be done…not wanting to do it but you have to. Well all of that changed when I started seeing Dr Cancio at Everest Dental Care. He is not only great at what he does but he also makes you feel comfortable. I’ve been there a few times and I always receive the best care possible. This dentist made me want to go. In fact I have to go again soon and I will look forward to my next visit. The staff is also wonderful. If you need a dentist, I highly recommend going here! Simply the best!

I have searched for the perfect dentist for years now and I didn’t have luck either they we’re to dirty or the staff was just rude! I’m so happy to finally say I have found the PERFECT dental office they are just so great the staff is so nice always smiling and helpful. The Dr is nice and he explained everything that needed to be done and answered all my questions until I understood everything and he took care of all my dental concerns, its also nice that they have TVs in each room with a variety of movies as you wait! I really like this place I have told all my family about it. The staff is great and so is the Dr top notch just what I was looking for!

I have been coming to this office for some time but never thought i would be writing a Yelp Review. The below comment from Christopher really inspired me to do so. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and its staff. The Dr. is AWESOME and the staff is very friendly. Like every business and dentist out there, there all out there to make a profit so i’m not shocked that they would want to charge for service not covered by your insurance. Sorry Medical didn’t cover all he needed. Maybe a better insurance would of taken care of that problem but i don’t see how that the there fault. I would like to end this by saying this is a very clean and professional place i highly recommend it! The Staff has been very nice every single time and will continue to refer and bring my family to this place. Simply the best!

I never thought I would write a review on yelp. But after my experience at Everest Dental Care I had to share my experience on yelp! Dexter is the best manager ever! I went for a cleaning and to fill in my cavities. He was very friendly and communicated with me. I felt very safe and relaxed. We had laughs here and there but when it was time to get down to business he was concentrated and fast 🙂 This is the best dentist ever! Seriously!, the inside of the place is so modern & very clean. The staff is very kind & welcoming. So if you are looking for a dentist, I strongly recommend for you to visit this office! Or ask for a consultation.

Great staff! Very friendly and such a clean office. They have a TV in every room to distract you from alm the crazy noises going on in your mouth. I was helped by Jackie and Dr.Cancio and they made the whole procedure feel quick and painless. I’m a chicken when it comes to being at the dentist but they made me feel very comfortable. This was probably the best dentist I’ve ever been to! The doctor was very nice and has a light hand which was a great thing because I did not feel any pain what so ever! I literally could’ve fallen asleep while he was fixing my cavities. The staff was super nice and very accommodating. I had pain on the right side of my teeth and they were kind enough to squeeze me in. I definitely would recommend coming to this practice.

I can not write a good enough review of this dentist. From my very first visit until all my dental work was done the doctor and his entire staff were great beyond words. I had a lot of dental problems and was ashamed of the way my mouth looked. I was embarrassed to even talk to people. One of the first things Dr Canillo said was don’t worry I’m going to help you get your smile back. And he did. He set up a plan and now I have a great smile that I’m proud of. He worked with my insurance and what I could afford to pay and made it work. His office manager Dexter was so amazing also. All of the staff was always kind, caring, and reassuring. I needed a TON of work done on my teeth and this place ROCKS! I went there for a second opinion because I had just finished some service with another dentist in Beverly Hills and I was concerned because I didn’t feel he was doing a good job. This place is a state of the art facility, that has incredibly nice people who love what they do. I spent hours in the chair, last Saturday and the staff was so accommodating — they asked me which movies I wanted to watch; they put Vaseline on my lips so that they would get dry (who does that); asked me if I needed any bathroom breaks and massaged my jaw when they were finished. You don’t get this type of service in Beverly Hills! Check them out!

The best Dentist ever he’s amazing! Jackie and Dexter are awesome they made me feel so comfortable and at ease because I was so nervous! The music is soothing and not elevator music! There’s a screen in the room so you can watch movies while the work is being done which is wonderful! I got a root canal done and the only discomfort was the usual pain when you get home until you take your pain meds! There’s a pharmacy right next door which is convenient I have insurance but I had to pay an out of pocket expense which wasn’t bad, they’ll work with you and your needs! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Dr. Juan Pocholo Cancio’s dream has always been to be happy, healthy and live life to the fullest. He has translated his dream into his first new office with a strong commitment to provide his patients with the best care and a beautiful environment to perform his dentistry. In 1993 after graduating from the University of the East in the Philippines, he practiced in his hometown and had a successful practice including family and friends in the Philippines and from abroad in the USA. After the 12th year practicing in his small office near his family’s home, he decided he wanted more and made the decision and move to America. Dr. Cancio moved here to the USA and was awarded his dental license in 2007 by the Dental Board of California, he spent the next three years at a large corporation practicing on clients he never really got to know well. He felt in order to really, fully enjoy the life and career he imagined in the USA, he would have to be his own boss and build a client base. Soon, after many months and hours of planning and searching for the right spot and the best location he formed and founded Everest Dental Care in Los Angeles in November of 2010. Dr. Cancio enjoys immensely the opportunities available in the USA and looks forward to meeting you and sharing his experience and craft to enhance your dental hygiene. His enthusiasm, optimism and experience will help build a relationship with his clients that keeps them coming back for more! Dr. Cancio is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Los Angeles Dental Society and the Southern California Filipino Dental Society.
