Just finished my appointment here, been coming here for four years, as I am the first employee from my office of over one hundred to began coming here. I must say that each experience continues to be great for me. The doctor is in the teeth saving business, that’s the first thing they try to get you to understand. The office is best i’ve been into and the staff is the best staff all around. They make you so comfortable that you don’t want to leave. They are equipped to handle any dental need that should happen to occur. I travel over 165 miles to continue to come here. After your first visit, you’ll began to see what I mean. Very nice and honest group of workers all around. Facility is very clean and convenient in location. I had to wait a little while for my appointment to actually start, but I will chalk that up as cleaning / decontaminating the rooms for protection from Covid. I’ve had some traumatizing experiences with dentists before but I felt comfortable for the first time here. I’ll definitely go back and will recommend to anyone who is new to the area and needs work done.

I’ve been a patient at this office for ten years or so. These are the dentists that got me over my fear of going to a dentist office. They are a very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff that get to know their patients very well. They are also taking COVID-19 quite seriously: their office is taking extra precautions and enforcing social distancing, with the staff using more than one layer of PPE to ensure everyone’s safety. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Tran and her staff are amazingly professional and friendly. They are like a little family and you definitely get that feeling in the office. When I moved to Ashburn I could not bring myself to switch dentists because I have been so happy with FLFCD. Dr. Tran’s knowledge and expertise cannot be matched. Thank you!

I love this dentist office! I started going here when I lived up here years ago and as soon as I moved back I was excited to go back to this office. The staff is very friendly and the doctors are very knowledgeable and excellent dentists. The receptionists are very accommodating with scheduling requests and do an excellent job sending text message reminders. I highly recommend this office for your dentistry needs.

Have you ever been scared of the dentist? Well not here. From the moment you step into the practice to receiving your treatment, the staff makes you fee comfortable. I’ve been a patient here for over three years. I have never looked so forward to visiting the dentist. The doctors and the hygienists have the softest touch when it comes to teeth cleaning. You as a patient don’t feel anything. They now offer massage chairs so you can enjoy a massage while getting your teeth cleaned. One of the most important thing I’ve experienced at this practice is their transparency. There is no hidden charges it unnecessary treatments. The doctors are open and up front about what to expect. I feel like family when I come to this practice and I would whole heartedly recommend this practice to anyone looking for solid honest dentist.

The staff at Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is great.  Really, they are.  They are very friendly.   I made my first appointment online, which was followed up promptly and personably to schedule the appointment.  They are tech savvy, which is great for me since I’m not always available via telephone for reminders.  I would definitely recommend this team!  Thanks to everyone there!

I’ve always hate going to the dentist, but Fair Lake Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is a place to go. They have great staffs up front to that are friendly, professional and will do their best to help. The staffs in the back will cares and be gentle when they clean your your teeth. Dr Tran is knowledgeable, go out of her way to help when you are in pain and explain each steps before each procedures. It is hard now a day to find a Dentist office that are friendly, professional, give you and you teeth the best TLC with a family atmosphere feel when you enter into their office.

Moved into the area 4 years ago and procrastinated every bit of 3 on finding a new dentist.  Decided to try Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry because it was close, at the time, and their website seemed very up to date and professional.  Striking gold doesn’t even begin to describe it.  Dr. Tran is very kind and knows what she is talking about and she really has put together a well trained staff that will bend over backwards for you.  I now live in Ballston but have no hesitation about making the trip back to Fair Lakes……..they are that good.

I just moved to the area, and asked a few friends for dentists in the area. Many recommended Fair Lakes Family Dentistry. I was going to wait until things started to settle down with the pandemic before scheduling a cleaning, but one of my crowns fell out! I called and they were able to accommodate me the next day! I felt very comfortable with my treatment plan! They were very honest, friendly, and forthright. They offered to check with my previous dentist to make sure they billed the crown correctly so that I wouldn’t incur more out of pocket expenses for the permanent crown. They also sent me a referral to an orthodontist to help with a bite issue. Overall, I felt very comfortable with every member of the team. They are very professional, honest, and accommodating. I look forward to brightening my smile with Fair Lakes Family Dentistry!

My husband and I have been attending this practice for many years. Our daughters have just graduated from their pediatric practice and so we are all now patients. From Front Desk, Krissy and Andrew, to our wonderful hygienist Melissa, as well, of course, Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen we feel very well taken care of by a wonderful team. Having recently had a regular checkup during COVID-19 times, I can affirm that their COVID precautions made me feel 100% confident that they are doing everything possible to work safely. The photo-name badges were a lovely humanizing touch. Thank you for continuing to take care of all of us!

As a new patient, scheduling the appointment was easy and straight forward. The office uses a portal to provide “new patient forms” making it paperless. I received a reminder prior to my appointment and instructions of what to do day of. I waited about 10 minutes in my car which isn’t long at all given our pandemic situation. I was greeted by Melissa (super friendly) who introduced herself as my hygienist for today while taking my temperature. Shortly after entering the room, I was given a solution to rinse any bacteria in mouth (COVID-19 protocol). I really appreciated Melissa informing and explaining everything she did throughout my appointment. She made sure I felt comfortable and reminded me to stop her if I had any issues. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Tran, super thorough during my exam, it was a bit overwhelming. Mainly because I was aware of some of my dental issues but not all was addressed by my previous (retired) dentist. I’m grateful she was so detailed AND explained everything in words I’d understand. I didn’t feel pressured to do any of the suggested treatments. She was very open and understanding too. I didn’t spend too much time at the front desk. I exchanged a few words with Andrew. I believe that was his name (I’m sorry if it’s not). He was also really polite and professional. Overall, I had a wonderful and stress free experience. I highly recommend this office. Dr. Tran is a life saver. When I moved to the DC area, one of my crowns broke the day after I arrived in town. Dr. Tran saw me right away and replaced both my crowns. She did a terrific job, and they look much better and more realistic than the pair I had prior to the break. Her perfectionism when it came to my teeth really paid off since few people can tell that my teeth are fake. Since that first visit, I’ve continued going to this office for all my dental needs and it’s been great. Krissy at the front desk is super nice and efficient, and I’ve never had a bad experience going to the office.

Dr. Tran and all the staff at Fair Lakes Family & Cosmetic Dentistry are AMAZING. I have been going here for almost 5 years. To put it mildly: in the past I have had some less than stellar dental experiences; so, a great dental visit, exceptional hygienists, and customer service are things I won’t compromise on- This office has met and exceeded my expectations. I have referred multiple people to the office and they love it as much as I do. I also have nearly completed Invisalign treatment. Dr Tran has managed my treatment perfectly and the costs were significantly less than the orthodontists’ quotes. I don’t love going to the dentist but I care about my oral health; FLF&CD makes it positive and pleasant experience.

I love this office and just had my husband move over to them as well. The staff and dentists are very friendly and professional. Anytime I had insurance or billing questions the people at the front desk helped answer all my questions. The office is extremely clean and well-kept. The staff and dentists also are very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest trends and research in dental care. Although it’s a bit of a drive for us to come here since we moved, it’s totally worth it and we highly recommend Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry!

I had a great experience here. The office was very clean and the staff I interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Tran and Linda explained everything to me in clear and concise language and were very pleasant to work with. At the front desk, Andrew managed expectations well and was very friendly and clear when explaining billing and setting up my follow up appointment. I will definitely be back.

I was very impressed with my first experience at the Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic dental practice. I was taken on time for my hygiene appointment. The office was super clean and the staff wore all the appropriate COVID protection. My hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth (I am retired after 35 years as a hygienist) and the Dentist met me and explained everything very clearly. I highly recommend the Fair Lakes dental practice.

Found Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry when my old dentist stopped taking the insurance I carry.  I dreaded the thought of having to find a new one, as I loved the old one.  But, lo and behold, Fair Lakes is as good if not better!   Closer to home, wonderful techs and Dr Tran is awesome dentist and person.  I’ve had both cleanings and a cavity replacement done, both with wonderful results.  Can’t go wrong here!

I have been coming here for the past 5 yrs and would highly recommend them. My go to hygienist is Melissa. She is so sweet, caring and really goes above and beyond for me. Both Dr. Tran and Dr. Nygen are extremely sweet and knowledgeable and above all they genuinely care about their patients. People at the front office are also really nice. I remember once I had an issues with my insurance and Andrew worked so hard to figure out the issue and got it fixed right away. I sometimes bring my daughter here and they have a play area for her where she can play with toys and color. They are definitely the best in VA.

Today was my first appointment. Everyone was friendly, the office was very clean and calming, and they even have TVs set up over the exam chairs so you can distract yourself with some HGTV or whatever. My hygienist was very nice and explained everything; she even went over my x-rays and photos (via the overhead TV) with me and explained all the things she saw and the concerns she had. When the dentist came in, she was also very nice, very upbeat, and explained everything. No doctor or dentist has EVER been this forthcoming with me, it was an educational experience! I was worried going in that this would be another sales-oriented dentist office, pushing all sorts of costly procedures or treatments, but I was happy to find that this was not so. Although we did discuss Invisalign, their approach was to offer information if I wanted it, rather than subject me to a canned pitch. I really appreciated this, because there’s nothing worse than being bound to the dentist’s chair and subjected to sales pressure! I was very happy overall, and recommend checking them out.

I cannot sing their praise enough. I have never been to a dentist’s office that I loved so much, felt so at ease in, and trusted so much. I had an emergency due to severe tooth pain and the front desk was helpful and nice, helped me with my insurance and squeezed me in. The dentist and hygienist explained what was going on every step of the way and were so personable. I usually dodge the dentist office for as long as possible but I’ve finally found one I will keep up my regular check ups with.

You would miss it if driving by or passing on an afternoon jog, but this office is located in the bottom floor of the Camden apartments in Monument Drive by the Fair Oaks Mall. The service was super quick and efficient, and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or was being sold an unnecessary service. Additionally, the dentist ROI yes out a few things that my older dentist failed to do so just a few months before. I will be going back.
