Dr. Asatryan is the greatest. I have major dentist anxiety and I booked a last minute appointment with her after experiencing a lot of pain. The ladies at the front desk are amazing; patient and understanding. They walked me through insurance options and helped give me breakdowns and benefits. I had an extensive checkup and have a significant amount of work to get done but I appreciate Dr. Sona’s patience and treatment plan. She prioritizes emergency things and helps calm my nerves about stuff that can wait. I’ve refereed numerous friends to her and look forward to finishing up all my work! Also- I had double root canals on my 2 front teeth and it was completed with ABSOLUTELY NO pain.

I’ve been to A LOT of dentists and when I first went to Dr. Sona Asatryan I had no upper front right tooth along with massive bone loss. I had no hope that anything could be done about it. But one glance from Dr. Asatryan (along with some X-rays) and she said that it would be a process but an implant was possible and that she would be able to do. A year after all the procedures I finally have my front right tooth back and I can’t be more thankful.

Dr Sona sets the gold standard . I ve been in Search of good dentist for years. Finally I found the best. I used to be a patient that only will see a dentist if there is a pain . That said when I ended in Dr Sona’s hands a lot of work had to be done . In 3 years of going to this office and getting treatment done I can’t recall a time I was in pain during or after procedure. I had Dr call and check on me next day , to make sure I am Ok . Work proven to be solid and care is outstanding, detail oriented. Now I go regularly to protect and maintain all the work and money that was spent. If you are looking for a quality and nice personable dentist . She is the one.

If I could give her all the stars from a sky I would. Dr.Sona is a life saver. I broke/lost my tooth playing basketball. She was able to see me right away,calm me down. Can you imagine not having a front tooth before weeding coming up in 10 days? talking about cold feet. She was calm and confident ,that gave me a HOPE. 2 hours later i had metal screw in my jaw, what they call implant, and a crown on top of it. I went trough rehearsal dinner, wedding and honeymoon no problem. Got my permanent crown placed in a few months. Now around anniversary, i went back for check up and feel should have placed this review before. thank you to everyone at fair oaks dental, you guys rock!

I got to say I was very impressed with this dental office. I have been to different office because my insurance always changes but this office is very clean they are very organized with up to date digital x-rays where i can see my x-rays on a screen. Consider yourself one of the luckiest human beings on the planet if Sona Asatryan is your dentist. I mean it. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 26 years. Filled with shame, embarrassment, & fear, I showed up with 4 cavities, 1 of which had a hole the size of a pencil eraser in a molar with more holes coming off of it like tree branches. In fact, I had been chewing on only 1 side of my face for 3 years & waited until I had an abscess & 1/2 of my face swelled up like a squirrel. I called in a panic on a Friday, when she was out of office, &, having never seen me before, with no judgement, their extremely helpful office staff got me in right away 1st thing Monday morning & had me get on antibiotics immediately so the abscess would be treated over the weekend. I came into the most pleasant, and well decorated waiting room I have ever sat in. X-rays were taken, also by friendly and helpful staff members. Then, Dr. Asatryan came in & sat down with me, as if she already sensed my shame & fear & started off with, “So, how long has it been, it’s ok, you can tell me.” I stammered out what an idiot I had been, how I had lived in multiple states but only really gone to 1 dentist in my home state that I hadn’t visited in forever, & that somehow, over time I had developed a phobia & that I had been experiencing pain in the worst tooth since I’d been pregnant with my now toddler. She smiled warmly, zero judgement, discussed the fears in my mind that I hadn’t even had the courage to mention and put each one of them to rest. She was encouraging, reassuring, positive and something I would never have considered to be so incredibly important in dentist shopping…she was kind. She vowed to get the mess in my mouth (my words not hers) all sorted and fixed, and nurturingly promised to take care of me. And that’s exactly what she did. My first ever root canal took hours. She and her equally super kind assistant worked like a well-oiled machine communicating in soft tones minimally yet thoroughly. Like they read each other’s thoughts. Hold onto your hats…it was painless. It was fascinating actually, & the level of technology used was astounding. I got fitted for my very 1st crown, got a temporary and left with no soreness whatsoever. My temp cracked because I clench my jaw when I sleep (she got right on top of that as well ordering a guard for when I sleep) and once again they fit me in right away. My porcelain crown had arrived but she read the fine print of what type of porcelain the lab had used to make it & decided she wanted a different component in it due to my jaw clenching & the amount of abnormal pressure she felt I would put on it & ordered a different type of porcelain at no extra fee. The time & care she put into fitting my crown, making slight adjustments & filing it down a bit at a time to ensure the perfect fit was impressive & I was so grateful. But I’ve now come to expect only the best care from this woman who seems to honestly love her work and pays such close attention to every little detail. My next appointment to deal with my smaller cavities is already set & I can’t believe I am saying this, but I am actually looking forward to it! I am grateful beyond words for Dr. Sona Asatryan and Fair Oaks Dental!

This is my second coming to see Dr. Sona.The office is very clean and welcoming. I got my wisdom tooth extraction surgery yesterday here. It was very good. I went there in the afternoon and the front desk lady was very friendly. I was waiting in the room for about 2-3 mins, then I was called in to get my surgery done. They have TV in each room to help make people feel relaxed. I think that is a very good feature to have. I felt much more relaxed during the surgery. Dr. Sons was very professional. I didn’t quite any pain when she was performing the surgery. She first gave me local anesthesia and had me wait about 15 mins, then started to extract my wisdom tooth. She was very fast and no pain the whole time. Just a little bit of pressure like she told me. The whole extraction process took about 10 mins. After that, they gave me the instructions and some gauze.
I’m glad I found her as my dentist because she is great! I have her a hug after the surgery for the great job:) Also, they called me back today to see how Ian doing. They care about their patients and I really love this place.

Became a patient of Fair Oaks Dental a month ago. Had to see a dentist because of crazy toothache. Went out of network on the weekend for emergency appointment (will not mention the name) they could not figure out which tooth caused the pain . I was willing to pay $$$$ just to get help. On Monday morning Was seen by Dr Sona who takes my HMO plan. Amazing!!!! She earned my trust right away. Quick look at the X-Ray, top top knock knock this tooth then the other . She pointed to the problem right away . Kindly explained why it wasn’t so obvious on the X-ray and hard for the other Doctor to identity it, without badmouthing him. Root canal and crown are done, wisdom tooth removed. I have no pain and Happy . I only wish they were open on Saturdays . Honestly I did not mind little wait time it was worth waiting. I will go back every check up to this office . The whole team did fantastic job. Thank you

I have never reviewed dentists but I felt that I had to give Dr. Sona THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE review because my search for exceptional dental care has officially ended. As a child I really never took good care of my teeth and in my college years I started needing frequent dental visits to begin fixing cavities, root canals and crowns. After being with 5 different dentists, I realized that no one really cared about my dental HEALTH and rather just wanted to do a quick fix with average work and get me out of the way and on to their next patient. With Dr. Sona, I felt like a real person. She cared about me, my habits and made the point that no one had made: that I had only one set of teeth that had to last me a LIFETIME. She was so incredibly gentle, caring, friendly and professional and most of all produced results that were IMPECCABLE!!!! After experiencing such high quality dental care, my search is finally and officially over. Her assistant, Jasmin, was like superstar. The office was extremely prepared, runner seamlessly and I truly felt like the most important patient for them at the moment. Her office is very comfy (nice and cool in the heat), the staff are always friendly, and you can tell Dr. Asatryan really cares about her patients. I’ve had teeth cleanings, fluoride treatments, cavity fillings, and recently got a chipped tooth fixed. She made my front tooth look even better than before it was chipped! First visit after paperwork was done Dr.Sona greeted me with warm smile , and explained what is going to happen next. When full set of radiographs were taken she went over every problem area and offered different options to fix it. She pretty much customized

I had a dental emergency with a fractured tooth and what could have been a disaster turned into one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. I was able to see Dr. Asatryan at a moment’s notice and she took great care of being able to save my tooth and not require an extraction. I have typically been very nervous with Dentists from previous bad experiences, but Dr. Asatryan and her staff were so caring and understanding that I felt very comfortable and at ease. The office facility is also up to date with new equipment and large T.V.’s in the lobby and patient rooms you can watch while you have your dental work done. During the actual procedure I felt no pain and was very impressed with how gentle everything went considering how badly my tooth had broken (Curse you Kalamata Olive!!) All I can say is from start to finish my entire customer service experience was excellent, which is very hard to come by these days. Thank you so much Dr. Asatryan for saving my tooth and I’m very happy that I found a Dentist I can trust and rely on for all my future dental needs!

Excellent office. All staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I hadn’t been to a dentist in a long time and I had to have my first root canal ever and two crowns placed. I was nervous but Dr. Sona made sure I was comfortable the entire way. I know everyone is a little different but my entire process was 99% painless, the 1% was tolerable. The office and equipment are modern. You have to pay for parking in the structure and they only accept cash. I can honestly say i do not fear visiting the dentist anymore. They also do fittings for night guards and offer teeth whitening services if you are interested. I never felt pushed/forced to purchase extras. You can easily say no. As long as my insurance doesnt change, Dr. Sona will be my dentist for life.

I just had my molar crown cemented by Dr. Sona. IF I COULD GIVE A 10 STAR REVIEW I WOULD, BUT YELP ONLY ALLOWS FOR 5!!!! This is the best looking and best feeling crown I have ever had. I have other crowns in my mouth and this is A ++++. The anatomy of the crown looks incredible. It has details of the grooves of the crown with perfect color match that looks like my original tooth and BETTER. that’s not all!!! The crown prep that Dr. Sona did was so precise that this crown went in effortlessly and has perfect contact with the adjacent tooth with perfect by-the-book margins on the X ray. It requires zero adjustment and looks and feels like my original tooth. I am a returning patient and I have reviewed Dr. Sona before. I am very terrified of dentists and AGAIN Dr. Sonas gentle hands and pampering service and office staff makes it possible for a picky client like me to be able to return again. Let me not forget to thank her assistant Carla, who truly is a patient advocate and is so caring and precise with her work that together with Dr. Sona they make the A TEAM!!!! Thank you girls!!!

I went for a teeth cleaning and from the moment I stepped into the office from the moment I left people were very friendly. Also their prices are very reasonable and the best in town. I needed x-rays and I appreciate the thoroughness of the x-ray tech who came in. She was so sweet and attentive. Typically those x-rays can get uncomfortable, but with her touch it didn’t bother me this time. They did have a TV to keep me entertained while I waited for the Doctor and I even got to pick the channel I wanted. Once Doctor Asatryan came in and she introduced her self with a smile and spent time with me going over everything and she was very knowledgeable about what I needed for the teeth that bothered me. Surprisingly, she said what I wanted to happen without me even telling her what I wanted. That was impressive! I was very satisfied with their service and my overall experience with them was a great experience. I will be back for more work from Dr. Asatryan and I highly recommend this place.
