I had great service at Farrell Family Dentistry! The office is very clean and up to date. I had a cavity that needed filling. It had been years since I had had a cavity so I was a bit apprehensive. Dr. Farrell put my mind at ease. He was really nice and I am SUPER happy with the work. It didn’t take that long either. I’ll be back for my yearly check up! 🙂

Been going to FFD ever since I moved to Raleigh 2 years ago. Fantastic experience and great staff. I always get in on time, the staff are nice and the office is nicely updated – always spotless, and not an outdated tabloid in sight (I hate doc offices with magazines from 6 months ago). Beyond the front desk, the hygienists and Dr. Farrell make a visit to the dentist as painless as possible. Would recommend to anyone, and have already sent a few friends and family there. They’ve had a great experience as well. Bonus – they send you a friendly Starbucks card every time you send a referral their way!

I have been going to Dr. Farrell for over 5 years and have always been extremely pleased with the service I have received. Dr. Farrell’s staff is extremely professional and Dr. Farrell does a good job putting anxious patients like myself at ease. Can’t speak for some of the other reviews but I’ve never had any billing issues or really any other issues at all. If Dentists are like football QBs, I would not hesitate to say Dr. Farrell is the Cam Newton of Raleigh dentists! Would recommend without hesitation!

Bought a groupon and they were able to fit me in the next day due to a cancellation. The front office, the hygenist and Dr. Farrell were all friendly and explained the procedures and instruments they used. The doctor spent several minutes examining me (this doesn’t always happen with dentists) and listened to any questions I had.

I started going to Dr. Farrell about 18 months ago.He is everything you want in a dentist- great technical skills, compassion, understanding and great concern for his patient’s comfort. I had crooked, ugly front teeth for over 40 years but it wasn’t until I met Dr. Farrell that I decided to have them corrected and crowns put on them. They are beautiful! I should have done it years ago. He was very concerned that I was happy with the outcome and has a great 0% finance plan.I’m thrilled. The office is very organized and very little if any wait time. Gabrielle is a gem and so are all the hygienists and assistants. The BEST!

The scheduling was friendly and they got my 4 kids and I in at quick and convenient time for us! The office is comfortable and it’s so fun to read the blog posts binder in the waiting room. The two hygenists had the first two back and in their seats immediately. The whole staff was professional, wonderful with children, and very thorough. Dr. Farrell is a fantastic dentist, kind and down to earth. We had one further need and he explained options and the pricing is excellent. Even though it’s a hike for us, we will for sure be returning and referring! Thanks to the whole office! My husband and I also enjoyed the blog!

Have had a few procedures including a bridge – each procedure fully explained by the doctor with possible options. All done without incident. All appointments were on time. Highly recommend this practice. Dr. Farrell facilitated a plan that let me get exactly what I wanted done (some cosmetic, some issues), with a timeline and payment arrangement that was client-centered. My husband and I had had terrible experiences with crowns w a former dentist. Dr. Farrell does a great job. His staff is equally supportive. And read his blogs; they’re hysterical!

I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. Actually, I should say I USED TO have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. Dr. Farrell and his staff have chipped away at that anxiety over the years. The hygienists are all really great and very gentle when they do cleanings. Dr. Farrell is very, very good at what he does. I had an appointment to fix a cracked filling this morning. Because I get so nervous I put in earbuds and started listening to a podcast to distract myself. The show had barely started when Dr. Farrell said he was done. I’ve never said, “No way! You’re done?!” to a dentist before. 🙂
The whole office is really nice. I never wait more than a minute or two in the lobby and I’ve never had an issue with a bill. I will continue to refer people I care about to Farrell Family Dentistry- including my husband and my mom.

I love Dr. Farrell. He may be the most honest dentist in all of Raleigh. I decided to try out ANOTHER dentist because she had a Groupon. It was a great deal. But before I left, she gave me a quote for “necessary” dental work, and I was pressured to make immediate appointments for the work. The fees quoted were OUTRAGEOUS! I said I’d think about it. Later, I asked for a quote for similar work from Dr. Farrell, and it was far less. When I made an appointment to see Dr. Farrell for another issue, he told me NO, I did not need all that dental work! At some point, I may need some of it in the future, but all of that dental work was totally unnecessary. Dr. Farrell is HONEST and professional. His office staff is professional and friendly. His office is beautiful. I highly recommend him.

Had a first time visit here today for a cleaning/X-ray/checkup from Groupon (I don’t have insurance). Highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a friendly, efficient dental team. Today was my first visit to a new dentist office, Farrell Family Dentistry in Raleigh. I had to find a new dentist due to an insurance change, so in addition to the “dread” of having my 6 month cleaning, I also was seeing a new dentist! As I told them, I’d rather have open heart surgery than go to the dentist. But yet, here I am writing a positive review and giving them 5 stars (would give more stars if available!). Everyone was exceptional from the front office…. to Lara… to Dr Farrell. They were professional, caring and prompt. It was painless……..emotionally and physically! Kudos for having such a wonderful environment for a (formerly) unpopular routine……See you in 6 months!

After a bad experience with a Raleigh dental office that was part of a chain, I switched to Dr. Farrell. I am middle-aged and have never experienced such thorough cleaning from a hygienist. That thoroughness has continued with every visit for several years now. Dr. Farrell has also caught several dental problems early so that corrective work has been less involved than it could have been. They have always been explained thoroughly. People have commented on his “uncaring” personality. He’s a mild-mannered guy who just doesn’t overtalk, and in no way have I ever found him rude or uncaring. Best dental practice I’ve ever been to. I have never had trouble with the insurance, either.

This was a far more positive experience than last year’s dentist visit! I would wholeheartedly recommend this office. Last year when we got a different office’s Groupon cleaning that dentist tried to scrounge a few hundred dollars from us for teeny tiny cavities they found around our existing fillings. A second opinion confirmed the fillings were not necessary. This year we went to Farrell Family Dentistry and they were honest with us. No cavities. Apparently there are honest dentist and not so honest ones. This place is a good, honest deal. Fast and thorough. Thanks Farrell Family!

My 90 year old father recently moved to the area. he was only here a few weeks when he had a dental emergency. I called the office around 11 am to see if i could get him an appointment as soon as possible within the next few days. The receptionist asked me to hold on a minute and to my great surprise asked if I could bring him in at 2pm. When we arrived everyone in the office was very kind and reassuring, especially Dr. Farrell. He told my father he would take good care of him… and he did! Great dentist, great staff!

Doc Ferrell is the Best Dentist I have ever gone too, everything about the his work place is professional. All staff are friendly and helpful, Super clean. Jen is the Best dental hygienist she always cleans my teeth and never hurt after. Doc Ferrell is honest and very down to earth guy, he listens and makes sure you understand and don’t have any questions. Wouldn’t trade this place for any other. We have dentist on base but I rather make the drive and come see Doc Ferrell and his team.

Dr. Farrell is awesome. I love that it is his own practice so you always see him and get to know his friendly staff very well. You never have to wait in the lobby. Dr Farrell is very easy to talk to and does great work and really cares about what he does. I’ve been going there for 7 years now for all of my checkup appointments and also had invisalign treatment with Dr. Farrell. The invisalign process mostly did the job of straightening my teeth – about 95% – but Dr. Farrell was not satisfied until it was 100% perfect. He extended the treatment at no extra cost to me until my teeth were perfect.
