Dr. Hahn and his staff are the ultimate professionals.  From the time I walk in the front door until I check out, I am greeted with kindness and the comfort of knowing that I am in great hands.  They use the latest and greatest techniques for keeping your smile healthy, white and bright.  They attend continuing education courses all the time, which I really appreciate.  Dr. Hahn listens to your concerns and addresses them in just the right way for your individual case.  And their new cleaning technique is spectacular… you’ll never want to go back to the “old way” of doing it!  Trust me, you won’t find a better dentist in San Francisco, let alone in the Bay area.

I never thought of writing a review, especially a positive one for a dentist. My previous dentist was inexperienced and as dry as a sack of potatoes; I left to find another, and not knowing where to turn, I looked up a dentist close to work. Low and behold, I chose the the best dentist I could find.  Dr. Hahn remebebred me on the second visit, and he even answered the phone (probably atypical, but cool).  Experienced,  and had a personality to boot. Dr. Hahn and his team are fantastic.

The Financial District Dental practice remains in good hands after the retirement of Michael Hack. Raymond Hahn is a genial and meticulous dentist who made sure of my comfort during a massive filling and crown prep on a diseased molar. His temporary crown remained secure for the 2 weeks I awaited my permanent crown. The permanent crown was perfectly prepared and the final fitting quick and comfortable. Dr. Hahn was training his assistant, Amber, during my two visits, impressing me with his attention to detail, patience and obvious pride in his work. Amber has a delightful personality, performing her work with enthusiasm and care which contributes greatly to patient comfort. The practice retains two hygienists with whom I’ve been familiar for 15 years: Donna and Liz. They also perform meticulous and thorough work. Appointments are well managed with ample reminders and spot on timing. I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen in the entire time I’ve been cared for by this dental practice. I give them my most hearty recommendation.

Very professional practice with expert treatment. Dr. Hahn is a perfectionist and will make sure any work done is absolutely correct. I have been a patient since he began the practice and have been extremely pleased. Also get my teeth cleaned every 3 months and am very happy with that service as well.

I don’t know why, but finding a dentist is one of the things that I dread and when I recently needed to select a new dentist, I put it off way too long. After reading Yelp reviews and other sources of information, I recently decided to give Dr. Hahn a try and I am so glad that I did. The office staff was friendly and efficient and got me set up quickly. They did a great job cleaning my teeth and did an initial consult on various issues that work that might want to consider in the future. I have little tolerance for Dentists who aggressively sell services or “find work to do”, but it was not that way at all. It was merely consultative and I appreciated the information. Their office location is conveniently located in the Financial District and i was in and out quickly. I will definitely be back again in 6 months and am grateful that my search for a new dentist is over.

Dr. Hahn and his staff were super friendly, efficient and made me feel very welcome on my first visit. The receptionist took the initiative to check my insurance to see if X-rays were covered before my appointment even started so I didn’t have that awkward conversation about whether I wanted something that may not be covered. My cleaning was pain-free and there was no upsell to more services like some people are always worried about.

I have been going to Dr. Hahn for 7 years and I’m never nervous or worried when I make an appointment. It’s always a pleasant visit and his hygienists and front desk team are excellent. I’m so glad Dr. Hahn is open during COVID. The office was super clean and they took all the precautions I’d expect and more. I felt safe and now my teeth are super clean.

I started out with Dr. Lane in 1992 who was in partnership with Dr. Hack, who then retired three years ago and sold his practice to Dr. Hahn. As I have always been very impressed with the professionalism of Dr. Hack and his team of Donna and Liz, I elected to continue with Dr. Hahn although I have not worked downtown since 1996. I continue to be impressed with the excellent work by Dr. Hahn who explains everything that he is doing or not doing. He has a sense of humor too, which helps in a dental office as I am always very tense when I am there. Recently, Dr. Hahn’s team has been joined by Heather who is a remarkably efficient front office and records manager. What can I say about Heather who goes above and beyond to chase up on insurance payments and what not. Julie who is Dr. Hahn’s new dental assistant is also superb because she and Dr. Hahn work very fluidly together. And of course, Donna and Liz are still there.

I am really pleased with the great care I receive at Financial District Dental. Dr. Hahn, Liz and the rest of the team are great – low key, patient focused, and expert in their field. Being a white knuckle customer when it comes to dental procedures, I find myself relaxed and in good hands during my appointments. I strongly recommend this practice.
