Yesterday was my first visit for a regular check up and all of the staff were professional and friendly! I was in and out quickly but in a great way. I arrived to my appointment about 10 minutes earlier to complete paper work and was taking my x rays quickly! The dental assistants were so nice and talkative making things a lot more comfortable and easy going compared to other places I’ve gone to. I will continue to see my dentist regularly now!

About 4 years ago, I was involved in a minor accident that left permanent damage on my two front teeth. The trauma caused my nerve to die on my right tooth and as a result, my tooth turned PURPLE! Over the years, it got worse until I finally went to the dentist to have it checked out. I went to serveral places to have my teeth looked at before a good friend of mine refferred me to Dr. Kim and I can’t thank her enough! After taking a good look at my teeth, Dr Kim reccommended that I would have the best results if a root canal was preformed on both my two front teeth and to also have a porcelain crown placed over them. I was very nervous the day I came in for the procedure, but it went by almost pain free! Most people are afraid whenever they hear the words “root canal”, but Dr. Kim made sure to always ask if I was okay and the results truly speak for itself. His staff are also very helpful and really go out of their way to assist you in any way they can!

I took my daughter here last year for her first dental appointment ever. She’s now three and they handled the “first-time-toddler” like pro’s! They took my little one to a special room in the back filled with stickers and toys for her to look at, and they made her feel comfortable and happy the entire time. In fact, she didn’t want to leave! Lol. After her appointment they gave her a toy, and made her first dental experience one to remember. While I was there I realized they are a family dentistry, so I could get treated there too. Fast forward one year, I’m having some discomfort so I call to make an app. From the very first phone call I already knew they would be AMAZING. Their staff is well informed and professional, but also personable and VERY kind. I got there and there was not much wait. I got thorough X-Rays done and they have top of the line equipment all the way through. Their staff was just as nice in persona as they had been on the phone. So, a year later, their standards were still HIGH and the quality of service was still the same – thumbs up and one star right there!After a full assessment of my situation, the manager, Grace, who is AMAZING, walked me through all my options from the most expensive to the most cost effective and showed me the benefits and cons of each. She said it was my choice to make and that they offered payment plans with Care Credit – third and fourth star right there. Dr. Kim walked in at that point and shared with me his experience and what he would do with one particular situation, but again, he said there’s no rush. I was super thrilled to hear from him because he knows his stuff. So confident and so nice. You can tell he loves his work and there’s nothing but honesty and good vibes at that place – 5 stars! WILL be going in next week for my first work and I’m actually excited! Who says that about going to the dentist?! Well, if you go there, you will!

Extremely satisfied and no more pain after 6 months!! Several months ago I went to another dentists office because of pain and i had a tooth that was badly decaying. They told me that I needed an implant, root canals, crowns, etc. Well after the first appointment at First Dental care I got my root canals done and Dr. Kim said he can probably save my tooth so i would not have to get an implant. Well, yea he saved my tooth and a boat load of cash for an implant. Dr. Kim even gave me great discounts and fixed my chip tooth that i had for 8 years. He also made my other front tooth the same color as all my other front teeth. He explained everything thoroughly and was not pushy about trying to sell me anything. I felt he had my best interest at heart. The staff were all nice and made me feel comfortable. Well now i have my root canals done, my crowns, chip tooth fixed, and all my teeth are the same color now. But most of all, no more pain and i can now chew on both sides of my mouth. Even though i will be moving about an hour away from this office location I will be returning to Dr. Kim for life! Now…. let me go and chew on my hard tacos on both sides of my mouth while looking all pretty!  ha!!

First off, thank you Dr. Doug Kim for always making sure my teeth is well maintained, and for always being so helpful. I’m glad that I’ve finally found a dental office where everyone is so kind, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend First Dental Care to anyone, and everyone that needs any type of dental work done.

I was here for the first time recently and had a great experience. They were very flexible with scheduling even got me in within a day. The staff is great and very attentive. Ofelia was one of the staff that helped us out and she was Awesome!!! She has so much patience with my kids and explained everything to them and took her time with them as well…I will definitely come back for all the family. The Dr. was very sweet and also made my kids feel welcome. Thanks First care Dental !!!

As a first time mom hearing about the horror stories of some dental practice places I was so scared to bring my daughter to any dentist. I did my research and found this place. The outside may be a little outdated but please don’t make this turn you away. The inside is beautiful and the doctor is absolutely amazing. I felt beyond safe and will be bringing my daughter here from now on. Thank you First Dental Care for making this experience a great one for us.

As soon as you walk in you ‘re greeted warmly by the staff. They’re very good at remembering faces because they knew who I was on my second visit. I have a major fear of going to the dentist, enough to put it off until I NEED to go. Had to get 3 impacted wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Kim and Dr. Choi were probably the first dentists to make me feel comfortable and at ease. They were both very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment plan. I felt that they were really honest and only recommended what was best for me. I’ve been to other dentists who would suggest all these unnecessary work or would recommend the more expensive solutions just for billing purposes. During the procedure they constantly made sure I was okay, which I really appreciated. Did I mention I’m a wuss when it comes to shots? Well Dr. Kim has some magically powers because I couldn’t feel a thing when he injected the numbing shots.

First Dental is now my go to place for all my dental needs. I chose this place by random, and it’s the best decision I ever made. The ladies in the front and the entire staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Kim is the best dentist out there, a master of his craft. I had a deep clean done, and it was completely painless. He even made the injecting of the anesthesia painless, which is amazing. Dr. Kim is informative and thorough on what is needed to be done. He walks you through each step as he’s doing them, and he makes sure you’re not feeling any pain. I highly recommend this place to anybody deciding on a dentist.

About time I write a review for first dental care. I wouldn’t say I am a dentist connoisseur but I have had my fair share of dentist. Just having been experiencing different dentist and dentist offices over the many years I have been going Dr.Kim is my most favorite dentist. He is very clear and  thorough. He successfully finished two root canals I needed to get done one tooth had an infection for quite some time he made sure I had it taken care of. One tooth had a very bad cavity leading to a root canal he cleaned up before it had gotten worse. I had one cap that did not fit correctly to where it looked perfect due to me not going to get the right crown on sooner (I waited four months) he sent it back to get resized and had it for me the next day. Overall first dental care is now my permanent dentist office and my future family dentist. Do keep in mind I live an hour away. The drive is worth is for my now perfect teeth. Thank you Dr. Kim and your lovely staff
