Today my dad received a great service from Dr. Gersten. In our busy lives, where everything is preset and prescheduled, we are always afraid of all those emergencies and ‘what-ifs’, and when it happened, my dad was ready to accept a long waiting time lasting days. To his great surprise, Dr. Gersten just invited him to come right away, without any appointment, and after the brief examination, he fixed the problem that other dentist has missed.

I have never done business with a dentist before that answers their business phone, even on holidays. They are always available. I have never been to a Dentist before that was as professional, as personal, as knowledgeable and as nice as Dr Michael Gersten and his father Gregory. They really care about their patients. I have referred at least a dozen people to them. Everyone I have sent them feels the same way I do. They are such a pleasure to deal with. I have been a patient of this Dental Spa for awhile. From the service to the dental treatment, this establishment is premium. The office is aesthetically pleasing & the Office Assistants are more than friendly. Employees go out of their way to make patients comfortable. I only waited a few moments to see my Dentist & in this short time I was asked if there was anything I needed (IE: A drink) or if I was comfortable a couple of times. They care for their client! Dr. Gregory Senior & Dr. Michael both are gentle with their patients & do excellent work. Dr. Gregory Senior has a gift for dentistry & a desire to help his valued clients. This is rare & special. I have been in South Florida for 14 years & have utilized three dental practices for various reasons. Dr. Gregory will be my final destination for my dental needs. Friendly, professional and honest. I scheduled an emergency appt 1 day in advance on ZocDoc and Dr. Gertsen took his time with me. The fact that he recommended waiting a few days to see if the pain subsided as opposed to just replacing my crown (a more costly option) says a lot about him as a doctor. My name is Josh…I’m posting under my business acct because I don’t have a personal Gmail. I run medical offices – so, I know a thing or 2 about how these things operate. This is the most professional, efficient and friendly dental office I’ve ever used. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. From the front desk to the dental assistants and hygienists to Dr. Gertsen, everyone does their part to make this a fine tuned operation. I have been seeing Dr. Gertsen for about 4 years now minus a year or 2 when I was living further north in west Palm. I experienced some really bad dentistry in West Palm. So, I was so glad to be back down south, close to the Dental Spa. By the way, that is the perfect name for this office. And, much to my surprise, my crown w/ dental insurance cost me half what I was charged in W Palm. It was only like $380 or somewhere around there with my Guardian Dental insurance paying the rest. I’ve never before paid less than twice that amount for a crown. Highly recommended dental office.

Never before have I been to a dentist where they could pull off putting three new crowns in one day. FL Dental Spa has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in the latest equipment and it shows. Both doctors Gregory Gertsen and Michael Gertsen – are true professionals and wonderful people, who will go out of their ways to help someone in pain – even to extent of opening office in holidays for you, if necessary. As immigrant (political refugee from Russia) I was looking for someone affordable and used another doctor before. Little did I know that another doctor was saving money by performing substandard work which turned out being an expensive problem for me 10 years later. Then I went to another doctor who was also very affordable, because he was good at billing insurance company. However, while I was waiting 2 years for procedures to be done under insurance coverage – I lost 2 teeth and had to pay for oral surgery instead. Only then I became smart enough to check references and visited Dr. Gertsen’s office. Surprisingly, the prices were not exorbitant as I expected for practice with superior reputation, but his computer aided design engineering and medical knowledge, experience, advanced equipment from Germany and Japan, latest US approved anesthetics from Europe and professional staff, plus friendly atmosphere – are really speaking for itself. Both Doctors are striving for knowledge and frequently attending professional development classes and meet with medical equipment manufacturers to make sure they have latest and greatest technology available today. Now, when I see a person, suffering in pain for days after visiting another dentist – I ask: “You can not function or work and suffer from unbearable pain. Does it worth extra $200 to you?”. Please, do yourself a huge favor and check out Florida Dental Spa at your earliest convenience!

I first met the Gertsen’s at their previous location before they moved to this state of the art facility. Dr. Gregory was so proud he invited me to visit while it was still under construction. I was impressed by all the little details that were implemented mostly for the patients experience and comfort. I was greeted like family every at every appointment. I’m a bit of a technical nerd and asked Dr. Gregory many questions whenever I saw new equipment. He always took the time to explain and educate me about various things in a calm, non-rushed fashion. He took the same approach with me when I had major reconstruction in all four quadrants of my mouth because my teeth were in such bad shape. He assured me of “pain free dentistry”, and when, on very few occasions, I began to feel any discomfort….I would tap him on his arm and he would immediately stop everything, reassess the situation, and address the issue before proceeding again. I often received phone calls a day or so after procedures asking me how I was doing and checking up on me. For people who are nervous or have fears about visiting a Dentist, this is the place for you. And the best part is, I now have healthy, clean teeth and I get compliments on my smile. If you’re in need of a Dentist or not 100% satisfied with your current one, I implore you to visit the Gertsen’s for a consultation. You’ll be glad you did.

I was on vacation when I broke a tooth. By using the EmergencyDentistsUSA website, I was welcomed, on a holiday!, to be cared for, as a new patient, by the wonderful father-son dentists, Dr. Gregory Gertsen and Dr. Michael Gertsen. The office staff was very friendly and efficient. Between the office staff and the technicians and dentists, there was great relaxed, friendly attitudes towards each other and the patients that put the patients at ease. The staff offered the patient a choice of music that they played for the patient as the dentists performed their work. As a patient, I found the music a great relaxant during my surgery. Both G. Gertsen and Dr. M. Gertsen showed great skill and talent, as well as patience, kindness and genuine care for their patient’s comfort and good health. They took time to explain their procedures and inquire about my level of comfort. When leaving, I was given complete instruction for my proper ‘at home’ recuperation care. The doctors and staff were friendly and kind as we left, offering us additional help by phone and with a follow up visit. Michael Gertsen is a thorough and compassionate dentist working in Lighthouse Point, FL. He received his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. There he was exposed to the latest dental technology and techniques. He plans to continue providing the newest and best treatments available to his patients. Dr. Gertsen provides general dental consultations, single-visit CEREC crowns, veneers, cleanings, dentures, teeth whitening, extractions, and much more as a part of the father-son dental team at Dental Spa in Lighthouse Point. Growing up in the dental office, Dr. Gertsen developed a passion for dentistry which can be seen with his continued dedication to taking continuing education courses and being active in local dental study clubs. Helping people and giving back to the community have always been priorities for Dr. Gertsen. As former president of the Nova Southeastern chapter of Alpha Omega, Dr. Gertsen helped organize the Oral Cancer Awareness 5K Run and Walkathon. During his time in dental school he was also fortunate enough to be involved in two medical mission trips to Jamaica. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Florida Dental Association, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic. At the Dental Spa a peaceful mind, body, soul, and a healthy smile is our goal!!
