I was referred to Dr Clark from my general dentist Dr Mark Nguyen in Costa Mesa. It was recommended that I would get a dental implant to replace a missing tooth. Everyone I encountered from this office has been awesome! From the treatment coordinator Teri Medina to nurses Jackie and Perla. They are all super nice, professional and knowledgeable. I was very nervous about the sinus lift/bone graft procedure, but Teri did a great job educating me by showing me a video, Dr Clark also showed me a computer generated image of what the actual implant will look like. On the day of the procedure, they started on time, gave me just enough sedation to take the edge off, but not too much to make me nauseous. I did not experience any pain at all and aside from slight swelling the next day, no issues at all. Dr Clark even texted me the same night to check up on my status. If you have been looking for an implant doctor, look no further!

My 18 year old son just had all four wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Clark. He was having pain and they got him right in. The whole staff is so nice and accommodating. My son’s three older siblings all had their wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Clark over the years and all four kids had a great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Clark at Foothill Oral Surgery.

Our son had 4 very impacted wisdom teeth. After consulting with Dr. Clark we all felt very comfortable with his knowledge and expertise. After the very efficient surgery for such a complicated case, it seems the perfect amount of sedation was given and our son was alert and did not have any of the typical nonsensical conversation afterward. The days following we made sure we followed the directions carefully regarding the pain meds/antibiotics/icing and he experienced no pain for the duration of the healing process. We have recommended Dr. Clark to all of our family and our daughter will be going to him for X-rays .

Dr Clark is awesome! He was very easy to talk to. I had an odd situation. I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction and found out that not only was it impacted and the roots were wrapped in my nerve, but I also had a cyst that had formed in my jaw above that tooth. Because it wasn’t a routine extraction I had to make another appointment. He explained to me in detail the risk, procedure, what to expect and healing time. I’m so grateful that he found the cyst, as it could have led to a major problem! The day of surgery, he and his wonderful staff were very helpful in keeping me calm and assured that everything was going to be ok. My recovery, although it wasn’t pain free went as Dr Clark told me it would. I will need to go back for a bone graft because he did not want to rush things, as we are waiting for the biopsy to come back. Also, he made sure that I knew the cost of everything with no surprises. If you are looking for a great oral surgeon and an amazing support staff you have found it with Dr. Clark’s office!

Dr. Clark is the best oral surgeon in Orange County! His assistants Terri and Jacky are amazing too. They are friendly and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Clark is very knowledgeable and answers all of your questions so that you understand. Most people are nervous to go to the dentist, but he makes you feel at ease. The office had convenient hours. Dr Clark is the best. I am beyond fearful of dentists. A root canal that led to my face being paralyzed with Bells Palsy has kept me away from dentists for a few years. Needed a tooth pulled and after a bunch of phone calls with Terry, I felt at ease that I was in good hands. The extraction went smoothly, little to no pain, and before I knew it I was done and on my way home. If you need any oral surgery and don’t go see Dr Clark, you’re missing out and probably like painful experiences. He’s the best.

I’ve always had a wonderful experience at this office. Not the kind of thing you hear from going to an Oral Surgeon. The staff and Dr Clark really go out of their way to make you comfortable and create a relaxed environment. I drive an hour to get here but I would drive 3 hours if I had too. I trust Dr Clark expertise. If I ever need any other teeth pulled or another implant, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I only wish he was a dentist too!

My daughter has been to Dr. Clark twice now: when she was 9 for teeth pulling for braces; and now at 17 for wisdom teeth removal. Both experiences were perfect. She was extremely nervous at 9 and he spent time with her (and me) to be sure she was completely ok before proceeding. She remembered this interaction and asked for Dr. Clark when her wisdom teeth needed to be removed. Again, the entire office staff was so professional, and also warm and caring with her. Dr. Clark was just as kind and professional as the first time. There were no complications, she recovered very quickly, and the office called twice to check on her. The absolute BEST experience ever.

Dr. Clark and his team are the best in Orange County!! I have needed my wisdom teeth out for years but put it off because I was terrified of being “put under”. The day of surgery was a breeze! I did not even feel when Dr. Clark started my IV and that’s amazing considering my tiny veins. He gave enough anesthesia for me to be asleep & comfortable without becoming nauseated afterward. Teri, Jackie and Perla are compassionate, patient, and competent. They made me feel totally comfortable and I can tell they genuinely care about their patients’ wellbeing. Jackie was thorough in explaining the procedure and did not make me feel rushed when I had questions. Dr. Clark is calm, knowledgeable and an expert in his field. I suggest getting the “extras” for accelerated healing and convenience. Platelet Rich Fibrin uses your own blood by spinning it down and placing the ‘stem cells’ in the sockets after the teeth are removed- it accelerates the healing process, reduces pain and helps to prevent dry socket. I can’t say enough good things about this office. If you want an exceptional experience- Foothill Oral Surgery center is your place!

Everything was outlined well, all my options explained, and everything I would need to do ahead of time and afterwards was in good detail. I received a call from Dr.Clark the next day to check on my progress and to remind me to keep ice on my face and continue with pain medication. I also received an email a few days after that. I did have some concerns after a week and emailed Dr. Clark. He emailed back within 24hrs (on the weekend) and one of the office staff called me later on to follow-up as well. Over-all I think this is a great team and they do very well at their jobs. They also offer good follow-up and support after your procedure. I highly recommend!

All four of my kids had their wisdom teeth pulled in their senior year of high school. Our dentist recommended Dr. Clark for our oldest child and we had such a good experience, we kept going back. The office staff is so nice and they are helpful with going over costs/insurance. Dr. Clark is really caring and does a great job of explaining the whole procedure so the kids were all comfortable going into surgery. They have really good post-surgery care information and if you follow their protocol, there will be minimal pain and swelling. I highly recommend Dr. Clark!

So pleased with our experience with Dr. Clark and his staff. Dr. Clark was so personable and immediately put my son at ease. He spoke to my son and answered his questions and concerns rather than talking to me about the upcoming procedure as if my son wasn’t in the room. The procedure went smoothly and quickly and the staff went out of their way to ensure my son felt ok and had everything he needed for a smooth, quick recovery. They were available and willing to answer questions and concerns once we got home and incredibly accommodating. Everyone was so friendly, caring, and professional. My son required nothing more than Advil for his post op pain and had minimal swelling. No gimmicks, no recommended “extras” at additional costs and a very reasonable fee. Highly recommend !

I’m 28, and had been putting off getting my wisdom teeth removed for years. Finally my dentist said it was time….and they referred me to Dr. Clark. I was super nervous but when I went for my consultation, Dr. Clark put me at ease. He ordered a CT scan since all 4 of my teeth were impacted so he could see exactly what he was working with, and made me aware of potential risks since I’m 28 not 17 anymore…. He left everything up to me and didn’t “push” anything on me.. During the procedure I was under general anesthetic and didn’t feel a thing.The front office girl is super sweet and always followed up. She even called me a few hours after my surgery and made sure I was ok. Later that night, Dr Clark even called me personally. I hate the dentist, but Dr Clark made it a positive experience! Hopefully I won’t need any more oral surgery procedures but if I do I trust Dr. Clark

A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Clark was focused to ultimately become a dentist ever since watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer as a youth. In his child book, "All About Me", he wrote with scribbly writing and a backward letter "d", that he wanted to be a "bentist" when he grew up. Lit up internally with this desire, Dr. Clark finished in the top of his high school class at Irvine High School. Dr. Clark received his B.S. in biology from USC, his D.D.S. from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC, and his Oral and his Maxillofacial Surgery specialty certificate from Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center. Needless to say, he still enjoys watching Rudolph and especially Hermey extracting the Abominable Snow Monster's teeth!
