I became a patient of Dr. Stange as my longtime dentist was transitioning out and merged his practice with Dr. Stanges’.  I live in Westport CT and thought if this Dr. Stange isn’t awesome I’ll find someone in CT.  My review after seeing him for a year is that he totally worth the SCHLEPP!!  OH and he makes crowns and colors them in his office.  NO 3 weeks waiting!!!  He’s an artist with color.  I’m in fashion and was blown away at how well he matched the color.  If you need  dentist, don’t think twice about calling him.

I broke my front tooth when I was 11 years old, and it has been fixed a few times, but I have never been happy with the result. I had been putting it off for years since it hurt so badly last time it was fixed, but I really wanted it redone for my wedding. Dr. Stange talked to me extensively about his plan to make it look natural and the process pain free. I was extremely nervous, but he did not let me down. My tooth looks perfect and matches my other front tooth exactly. Most importantly, the procedure was pain free. I will be moving out of NYC in a few years, but I only want Dr. Stange to fix it in the future, so I will fly back if needed. Dr. Stange and his staff are very professional and extremely friendly. The office is extremely clean and comfortable as well. I highly recommend this practice.

Usually you don’t really feel like going to the dentist – you know it’s gonna be expensive and painful. When I first visited Fred these were my initial feelings. I went for a cleaning first, which was great then he checked out my teeth with digital X-ray to see if I have cavities – unfortunately I had one on my front tooth. Fred explained me everything – what’s he’s gonna do, how it’s gonna work – then I got anesthesia and an I-glass to watch movies while was working on my cavities. I watched the first half of Hitch and we were done. Then we adjusted my bite to make it absolutely perfect. He also needed to do some cosmetic stuff on it since it’s visible – the result was that nobody can notice the filling and when I touch it with my tongue – I don’t feel it… Thanks Fred again, I would never go anywhere else!

Greatest dentist and staff, ever!  Dr. Stange, Lisa and Alma and the rest of the team are wonderful.  Dr. Stange always takes the time to patiently answer all my questions and always has amusing stories to make the time pass each visit.  They’ve been extremely accommodating (one time they even opened for me when they were officially closed for renovations because I had urgent tooth pain, which turned out to be nothing serious).  Even though I no longer work in midtown, I still trek out to see them because they’re the best!

One of the absolute best offices I have ever been to! Dr. Stange and team are so nice and the most understanding! I had a lot of work I was procrastinating and Dr. Stange not only got it done in one visit but I was shocked when my check from the Insurance company came 3 business days later. To top it off it was almost for the full amount! Win win since I also got the credit cards points. I would give 6 stars if I could as my smile has never looked better.

Dr. Stange and his staff are professional, welcoming and go the extra mile to ensure that you have the smile you desire.  After speaking with Dr. Stange on the phone at length, I decided that I wanted him to make porcelain veneers for me.  I trusted that he would be able to provide me with a natural smile based on his skills as a cosmetic dentist, artist and photographer.  He worked in conjunction with my orthodontist, Dr. Meier in Florida to do all of the pre-planning so that when I arrived in New York for my appointment on a Friday, he was able to prep me for the veneers, design them, make them and put them in on Monday.  It was a seamless process, and the end result was more than I could have ever hoped for.  In addition, he gave me a filling for a cavity, made a night guard to help me with my TMJ all in 2 visits.  He continues to work with my orthodontist in Florida to ensure that my TMJ is treated successfully.  I would highly recommend him for general dentistry as well as cosmetic dentistry.  I only wish I lived closer!  Many thanks to you and your staff!

Let me tell you how to find the best dentist, there is no way you can, because they all come with DDS behind their name. Being an insider to the profession it comes naturally to me to spot the diamond from the scrap. From the first moment I met Dr. Stange at a car dealership I easily figured out two things: One he was deep into excellence , Second his ethics were even more superior. Eating “levain cookies” I broke a molar, and I called the office, the staff was very courteous in getting me in promptly , they paid attention to detail in their communication. There was an Icon Parking right across the street, as I entered the office even before I was greeted in person by the lovely ladies, the nice aroma had already welcomed & wow’d me. There was no delay in escorting me from the waiting room to the chair & then the magic began. Dr. Stange was able to take care of my tooth without having to numb me using his latest laser and in no time I was done without any discomfort. His touch was gentle like he was dealing with a new born, and you will be able to feel the experience & excellence he has acquired with in the first minute and that is how healing begins. All I can say is if you desire the best things in life – let this be your dental team & you will never need to find another one.
