I have been seeing Dr. Parkhur for about 3 years now and he has done an amazing job. The most important thing I like about him is that he is passionate about the work he does and knows a lot about teeth. He lets you know why, what, and how much needs to be worked on with your teeth and makes the cost so afforable. Highly recommend.

I’ve been coming here for many years now and had a lot of work done including clear orthodontics and I am very happy with the results. My teeth are straight now and I feel very good about my smile.

Today will be my sixth or seventh visit to Friendly Smile Dental over the last two years or so. I came in as a new patient needing a good amount of work done and FSD has treated me very well with friendly, upfront, and prompt care.

Okay, I’m a very nervous person when it comes to seeing a dentist, but when I came to this office for the 1st time the front lady was very welcoming and very sweet. she helped me fill out some forms and answer all my questions and concerns… & plus I went in very fast without an appointment , I was very happy about that. when the time came for the doctor to do the exam on me I was nervous as hell!, but Dr.Parkhur was very patient and calm, he explained to me what I needed and told me how it would be done which made me very relax and calm & I felt very comfortable there…I truly recommend this office to everyone, You won’t regret it

I’ve had an extensive amount of work done with Dr. Parkhur over the past year or so, including an implant!  I believe his prices are fair and his office is willing to work with you on any payment plans if insurance isn’t being the best of help.  What I appreciate most is my visits are prompt and I don’t spend a lot of time waiting to be seated and worked on.  Additionally, I believe Dr. Parkhur is straight forward with his recommendations and doesn’t try to oversell any unnecessary services.  I’ve experienced the over-priced Southern Orange County dentists before and it just adds to the pain.  If you’re looking for a no-frills and prompt service with fair prices, I would recommend Friendly Smile Dental.

Been with Friendly Smile since I had insurance in 2016, have had my root canals, deep cleaning, and invisalign there. What I like most about this place is that Dr. Parker shows you a video as to why you need a procedure done. He will work with you if you in a financial situation, very understanding.

Been a patient here for a couple years now. Had my root canal done last year. Everything went smoothly during the procedure and while recovering. Dr Parkhur relieved my worries by explaining why it was necessary and how the procedure would unfold. I usually dread going to my dentist appointments but he is always friendly so visits are pleasant for the most part. I swear the tartar cleanings aren’t as painful as past visits with other dentists either.

I have been going to Friendly Smile Dental for almost 5 years. Dr Parkhur and his entire staff are wonderful. They take the time to thoroughly go over and explain your x-rays and options, and set up a plan that works for me, the patient. A great dentist at fair prices (what a concept!).

I Love Love this dentist Dr Parkhur and the staff. It is hard to find anyone one in the medical field that truly cares about its patients.  Friendly Smile Dentist does !!!!! As well as the staff. Very patient and kind to everyone. I will never go anywhere else as long as they are here

I walked in with an emergency.. I didnt have to wait at all. Dr. Parkhur and his staff were awesome! He explained everything so knowledgeably and made me feel so comfortable.  The front office girl also made my financial so easy and economical .. All in all , I’m pain free and happy with the services I received at Friendly smile dental .. Their business name says it all “friendly” and I have a big “smile ” ..

I have been coming to this office several years for now. Dr. Parkhur has helped me to pull out my wisdom tooth, clean my teeth and take care of my toothache problems. I am nervous at dental procedures, all the dental tools scare me. But Dr. Parkhur has great care for patients. His care helps to put me at ease during procedures. Dr. Parkhur has high standard for any dental treatment. This high standard and quality of treatment rest me assure that my teeth will be taken care of. I take my family member to this office too. It’s not easy to find doctors that really care about patients and their needs these days. I highly recommend this office!

I used to go this dentist a lot. And by a lot I mean A LOT, like at least twice a month for 5 months. The Dr. was always friendly and the entire staff always welcomed me in and made me feel like family. They are amazing at what they do and I would and have recommended them to my family and friends!

My experience at this office was amazing. The Doctor and his staff were very helpful in giving me tips on helping me keep my oral health in great shape. They answered all of my questions and concerns and they did a great job on my cleaning and whitening. I didn’t feel a thing in the procedures they worked on. It was the best office I have been to and I highly recommend it!

While on a trip to South America I accidentally broke a molar, and I was told I would need a root canal. Well, I didn’t want to risk any work being done out of the country, so I had my tooth temporarily fixed just to get me back to the States. When I arrived back from my trip I was recommended I see Dr. Parkhur with Friendly Smile Dental because of his knowledge and skill set. Well, I didn’t know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I had chosen a very accomplished and well educated Military Veteran Doctor that was a graduate of Boston University School of Dentistry. My experience while under the operating table was great considering I was having a root canal. Dr. Parkhur treated me with care and was very careful and considerate of my pain level while the surgery was being conducted. After the procedure was completed, I felt great and was very happy with the work that had been done. I was very satisfied and happy of my results!

I  have dealt with poor dental with my teeth my entire life And every dentist that worked on my mouth really never took time to talk with me It was always Someone would call my name then X rays with no communication  then add it in the dental chair for an hour before the dentist comes in to see you, Well… Those days were over when about three years ago I found The Friendly Smile Dental in Santa Ana California I have medical so I was nervous if I would get the care I needed I met the front desk people Super nice feels like family They make you feel welcomed then Mr.  John Parkhur comes in to meet with you And the care and depth of information he spends with you about your teeth and health and Dental plan The Dentist here John Parkhur has changed my life I had the worst and a smile of seven teeth I could not even chew food Two years ago I walked out of Friendly Smile Dental with dentures that look amazing and I have never had sore spots that everyone talks about I do not use any glues to hold them in They fit and look perfect I have people tell me Your teeth are beautiful!And they have no ideal they are dentures. John Parkhur is gentle caring reasonable fair understanding.
