(…)they took me right at the time of my appointment. The office has the latest xray and exam equipment, including the rotating xray machine that provides a 360-degree view of your entire mouth–teeth, jaws, etc. The first time I went was for a cleaning and exam. Dr. Simonian has a great chair-side manner and put me at ease right away. I had a sensitive tooth and he immediately noticed a filling was partially missing. He took the time to replace the filling properly to ensure it wouldn’t fall out again. I also needed two crowns–a replacement for an old one and a new one over a cracked tooth. I’ve had terrible luck with crowns; they usually wind up as root canals. But these fit and feel great! Dr. Simonian was very careful to make sure the molds he took were as accurate as possible. Even the temporary crowns felt good! I’ve been there three times now–once for the cleaning/filling, once for the crown molds and temporaries, and once for the final crown fitting. Each time, the staff and Dr. Simonian greeted me by name and remembered me from the previous visit. Even more impressive, the last time I was there, they were treating an adult who had obvious developmental issues. I have a nephew with severe autism so I know it can be challenging to relate to the developmentally disabled, especially in a stressful situation like a dentist’s visit. But the staff treated him respectfully and patiently, and didn’t patronize him. I’m going back in a little more than a month to get fitted for a night guard to reduce my teeth grinding problem. I’d recommend Gentle Dental and Dr. Simonian to anyone!

I brought my son (three) to see Dr. Simonian for his 1st dental appointment. He had a great experience! Dr. Simonian was patient and gentle with my son. Dr.S showed him the tools before he used them and answered all of my sons questions. He even told him some jokes.The assistant who did the polish was also kind and great with kids. My son was giggling because he said it felt tickly. Additionally the office staff were friendly and courteous. The office itself looks brand new and was sparkling clean.

I visited Gentle Dental Placentia for the first time today. What a great experience! My mom referred me and she was right about this place. It was a quiet Monday afternoon but I’m sure they provide the same top quality care regardless.

I love this office (…) Everyone is so friendly, the back office was welcoming and the girl in the front office was great at asking and scheduling my next cleaning appointment. If your not familiar with your insurance then I can understand why some people in other reviews may think it is an up sale but in my experience is was not. The manager was very clear that some of the things were recommended and were not covered by my insurance but over all they allowed me to decided and explained everything to me. I would definitely recommend this office and say give it another try.

The love Gentle Dental Placentia. Judy in the front is always smiling and so friendly. Nicole ( great name by the way) came out to the lobby greeted me and welcomed me to the office. Dr. Simonian is always so warm and friendly. Hes a great joke teller and makes your visit as positive as it can be for being at the dentist. Henny and Yaritza help in the back and are so knowledgeable. They go out of their way to ask how you are doing and if you need anything. This office is awesome. Its very clean and modern. They are up to date with the latest dental technology. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming dental office along with providing great dental work.

I absolutely don’t like going to the dentist and it terrifies me, but Dr. Simonian does such a great job that I didn’t feel a thing! What I’m about to say is not to impress the dentists and employees at Gentle Dental Placentia, or anyone else. I simply wish to state legit facts from my experience. Nothing more, nothing less. Literally every person in there treated me warmly and with respect. Judy at the front pleasantly & quickly got me checked in, offering me water, coffee & even a danish slice! The young lady assisting Dr. Simonian was very friendly, quick and attentive in getting my X-rays completed and helping the doctor with his various needs. Dr. Simonian was down to earth, helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate as he thoroughly explained my dental situation. You can tell he takes great care in his work which I appreciate very much. Another young lady was super charming and sweet as she explained pricing & my procedure options & things I can do at home to help my teeth. I’ll be back in two weeks to laser clean the left side of my mouth, then I’ll be doing regular checkups to track maintenance and progress. (…)(Michael Simonian’s) bedside manner and technique are bar none. He’s the guy you refer patients to who might be afraid to go to the dentist. He is super sweet and honest. Sadly, he left California altogether, and set up shop in Nevada for years. I was sure that we had lost him for good. Recently, my mother was looking for a dentist, and she found a certain name that sounded awfully familiar to her. Luckily, I was there when she asked me about him, and now she is a believer as well. I couldn’t be happier that Dr. Simonian is back where he belongs, and in Orange County to boot! If you are looking for a dentist, please look no further. Because, you will NOT find a better dentist anywhere. This man simply cares about doing it right, and doing it honestly. I can’t tell you how many other dentists would try to pull the wool over my eyes, and I would have to go to him to get the honest to goodness truth. Dr. Simonian has saved me a lot of time, grief, and money over the years. Now, he’s taking care of another generation of my family. God bless you Dr. Simonian.
