Dr Drury is by FAR the best and most HONEST Dentist I’ve ever gone too. I went to a female dentist in Manhattan Beach a few years ago for just a yearly cleaning (I had not had one in a few years). She smelled money and played on the lies. She told me my gums needed a deep cleaning and my fillings needed to be replaced, and on and on. I was horrified, and it was going to be thousands of dollars. Fortunately I heard about Dr Drury from a friend and visited him for a 2nd opinion. He said ‘what we say in the world of Science’ there needs to be evidence to support that claim, and theres NO evidence to support that claim. Dr Drurys honesty immediately put me at ease, and I’ll keep seeing him even though I live in Studio City now. His skills and honesty, and professionalism make the long drive 100% worth it. Plus his staff is friendly and remind you of your appointment a day or two in advance, so it’s a win win. Highly recommend Dr Drury. 5 of 5 stars!

I can’t believe that Dr. Drury has so few reviews. He literally saved my life in the mid 80’s. I had been suffering for over a year with health problems that baffled every doctor I went to see. On my first visit, Dr. Drury diagnosed an advanced abcess and sent me immediately to an endodonist.Over the years, I have depended on him for all my oral care and have never regretted this decision. He is meticulous, caring, and responsive to any emergency. You won’t find another periodonist in the South Bay that can compete with him.

Dr. GERALD DRURY did a periodontal surgery on me almost 3 decades ago that saved my upper back tooth. Most other periodontists wouldn’t have attempted to do surgery in that area. He’s very thorough and has good hygienists working for him.

My parents used to take us out for candy bars every night after dinner. So I have the worst teeth in the world and have had multiple dental implants. Dr. Drury’s office doesn’t have flat screen TVs or anything fancy other than a view of the ocean, but he is really solid and I have been to many dentists in the area. He goes out of his way to save you money, which of course is highly unusual. He teaches at USC and you get the impression that he is genuinely interested in his work and has seen it all. My last visit involved a complicated situation and Dr. Drury spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best solution. His office is also organized and runs on time if you don’t like spending extra time at the dentist. If you’ve been told you need implants and are afraid of the cost or pain, Dr. Drury will make it as simple as possible.
