We had a great experience with Dr. Gimlen and her staff, I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of an orthodontist. My family and I recently relocated and had a bit of an emergency. Dr. Gimlen’s office was really accommodating, and got us in fast and solved the problem quickly and painlessly. Evaluations are free and they have state of the art equipment and a beautiful, clean office space. Dr. Gimlen is super nice and if you read her resume (wow!) you will see you are in the best hands and will have the best care. So happy we found Gimlen Orthodontics!

Dr. Gimlen and her team are amazing. They have been working with my son for the past 4 years doing extensive work. As part of my son’s cleft team, Dr. Gimlen works collaboratively with the other members of my son’s team to provide the best care for him. Recently, during a cleft team appointment we were informed that my son would need another surgery. Dr. Gimlen was very attentive to our needs (knowing we were not expecting to be told we needed to have another surgery when the last one was only last year) and was able to truly hear our ask and answer us such that we felt better. She then contacted her office to inform them that she wanted to meet with us next week to further discuss the next steps. When her staff called me she explained that Dr. Gimlen wanted to meet with us at our next appointment to further discuss what was discussed at the cleft clinic. At that appointment Dr. Gimlen was extremely compassionate and hands on, and assured my son that the process would assist him with obtaining the results he shared with her in the very beginning as his goals. She remained sensitive to his needs, as well as mine. Dr. Gimlen is a caring, professional who understands what it means to be scared of what comes next and she and her team work diligently to make her patients comfortable and at ease.

My daughter just finished two years of braces and I just have to say from beginning to end Dr. Gimlen Orthodontics was fantastic.  The price she quotes is the price you pay for two + years (for our time line).  The service and timeliness are excellent.  Dr. Gimlen and her whole staff have a great way with patients and their parents.  Her office is always a professional, happy, considerate place to visit with super outcomes!

Dr. Gimlen is the BEST! We left another local Orthodontic office for several reasons and was lucky enough to get a second opinion from Dr. Gimlen regarding an overbite of our 5 year old son. She actually talked us out of pricey and involved work that we had been told was necessary! Dr. Gimlen believed the problem would correct itself before the time braces were needed since we had no such family history of that. (The other office never bothered to ask such questions!) It turns out that she was right! Dr. Gimlen is extremely efficient and honest. The entire staff at Dr. Gimlen’s office is courteous, helpful and accommodating as well, and, we have never waited more than 5 minutes for our appointments. I couldn’t recommend anyone more/ They are fantastic!

The Best office in the world. The staff is amazing and Dr. Gimlen is the Best around. I love this environment so much that I would love to work there. Dr. Gimlen is on point and really knows what’s she’s doing. I had both my kids go to her and I can’t say one thing bad at all. They even give you a doctors note for your child to take to school. All I can say if you don’t go here then you made the wrong decision because the Whole experience was Amazing and not to mention my kids teeth look amazing. I love Dr. Gimlen and Staff.

I went to Duffin Adams and Gimlen in August of 2007 to get Invisalign. I had braces when I was younger but didn’t wear my retainers and my teeth moved right back to where they were pre-braces. Note to all kids out there- WEAR YOUR RETAINERS!! I had a consultation with Dr. Amy Gimlen and we talked about what I was hoping to accomplish with orthodontia. Dr. Gimlen is great, she is very easy to talk to and lets you be a part of your treatment plan. She explains the whole process from beginning to end and makes sure that you are going to get the smile you’ve always hoped for. It’s important to have an orthodontist who has the same goal as you do up front because especially with Invisalign, you plan out the whole treatment up front. Duffin Adams and Gimlen also has a patient website which is so cool- you can actually log in and see your before pictures and watch your Invisalign treatment video that shows how your teeth will change throughout the course of wearing them. It’s really helpful to get a visual of what your teeth are going to look like in the end. And it makes suffering through days of sore teeth totally worth it!! I’m almost done with my Invisalign and I am SO happy with the results. Appointments have been a breeze and I never have to wait to see the orthodontist or spend hours in the chair. The staff is all very nice and understanding- I’m not one of those people who hates the dentist but they are so caring and sweet that if you are freaked out by wires and machinery anywhere near your face, they will work with you. I’ve been seen at both their offices (El Segundo and Manhattan Beach) and it’s easy to find parking and convenient and close to most South Bay locations. I would definitely recommend my entire experience with Duffin Adams Gimlen
