I got a full examination and teeth cleaning at Glow Dental during the 2020 covid-19 quarantine. It was a superb and smooth experience. The office administrator Myra reminded me a week before the appointment and when I got to the office, she made sure I got all the necessary insurance paperwork done quickly. The x-ray process was efficient and I could even watch my favorite program on Netflix through the whole appointment. Dr. Huang was very thorough in her evaluation and explanations, which was comforting because she operates with a calming confidence and demeanor. Unlike other dental offices, where a dental hygienist conducts the cleaning, Dr. Huang herself cleaned my teeth thoroughly. Then she made some great preventive recommendations. Overall, it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had and I highly recommend this practice.

All of the staff at West Soho Dentistry are nice, thorough and helpful. I went in for a general consultation and they were able to fit in a cleaning and a fluoride treatment. As a recent resident in the South Village, I was in the market for a new dentist and I’m happy to say that after my first visit to see Dr. Huang, my search is over. I highly recommend her! From the moment I walked into the office to the time I left, I felt well taken care of as a patient. The receptionist was attentive and got me through my paperwork quickly, the assistant working under Dr. Huang was very professional and best of all Dr. Huang herself was a pleasure. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, talked me through a treatment plan, and really listened to my wants/concerns. I left with a clear follow-up plan and all the costs explained upfront (which is always nice to have and I found them to be reasonable). I had a very nice experience at Glow Dental. The front desk was responsive and organized. I was able to communicate about scheduling and other administrative matters via text messaging, which was super convenient for me. The office is really nice and modern — the rooms are equipped with TVs/Netflix, a much needed distraction during dental treatment. Dr. Huang was knowledgable and patient answering all my questions. As for Covid, they space out the patient visits, so I didn’t even see another patient during my time there. Everyone in the office wore protective equipment and they seemed good about sanitizing everything. I even got to keep my pen!

Very impressed with this office from the moment I walked in the door. I first noticed the cleanliness of the waiting room and a fresh scent of mint and basil in the air. I’ve seen a few dentists this year and Dr. Huang is by far the best!! I have a HMO plan and unfortunately, it doesn’t cover much. I came in already prepared to pay a lot out of pocket if I opt to do any treatment. Dr. Huang thoroughly went over all the work I needed and made sure I understood all the procedures. I really like how she gave me different options to treat my problem. She didn’t push me to go for the more expensive treatment and the one she recommended to me was actually one of the more affordable ones. If you’re looking for a quality dentist who cares about your dental needs, I definitely recommend Dr. Huang!

I am terrified of the dentist, prior to finding Glow Dental it’s had been years since my last visit. However, Dr. Huang is amazing and really smooth my anxiety. I recently had two root canals done, Those were my first root canals so I didn’t know what to expect. Dr. Huang made me feel comfortable and explained the procedure to me, the experience wasn’t at all what I expected and wasn’t as bad as I thought. I really liked Dr. Huang. She and all of the staff at her office were so kind – especially to this nervous patient! A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR

Dr. Alina Huang is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and relocated to New York for residency where she now resides. She received her Bachelors from UCLA and went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Huang then made the move to NYC where she completed her dental residency at Montefiore Hospital. Dr. Huang practices in all aspects of general dentistry, including Cosmetics (tooth-colored fillings, whitening, porcelain restorations), Periodontics (cleanings, root planing, laser deep pocket therapy), Endodontics (root canals), Prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, dentures) and Oral Surgery (extractions). As a practitioner, Dr. Huang is motivated to provide the highest level of care to all her patients. She believes in educating and creating a team approach to address their dental needs in a comfortable and pain-free environment. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family in CA and her friends here in NYC.
