Great experience (as far as dentists go). A friend at work recommended this dentist. The wait time was minimal, the office beautiful and up-to-date, the staff friendly and professional, and the dentist was very helpful. I liked that he didn’t want to drill on every off-color tooth in my mouth, but suggested we take a wait-and-see approach. I did require a return visit to get some more complicated work done (which I suspected I would before going), and the office staff was great about scheduling that second appointment for me in a timely way, and even provided me with a tailored cost estimate based upon my insurance! I’ve never had a medical/dental office do that before. I would recommend this office.

The dentist came in especially early to see our one month old daughter last minute. He released her tongue, lip and buckle ties by laser. He explained the procedure beforehand very professionally and compassionately and did a wonderful job. She has much greater range of motion of her tongue and we are able to breastfeed with less pain. I cant recommend them enough.

Dr. McLachlan performed a procedure to unlock my jaw from severe TMJ. He talked me through the entire process during our consultation, he explained that in my case there was a good chance it could work but also a chance that it could all be for nothing. I had my jaw lock on my for a full year, I was in a lot of pain everyday and couldn’t find anyone in town who could help fix this problem for me. The procedure is pricey but well worth every penny, I have been nearly pain free for a few months now. I do still wear a night guard that was specifically designed for my case of TMJ when I notice I’m having problems but my jaw is unlocked and I’m not in nearly as much pain as I used to be in because of Dr. McLachlan. If you are experiencing issues with TMJ, go see him and listen to what he has to say. As for my standard dental cleanings and normal visits, this is by far my favorite dentist office I have ever been to. Brittany and Teddy have both spent a lot of time working with me from the TMJ procedure and they’ve always been great to work with. They even offer free whitening for consistent patients, which I thought there must be some catch but it’s true. These guys are just awesome through and through

These guys are the best! I had been looking for a new dentist for a while before finding Grandview Dental just over a year ago. The care and professionalism they have shown me and my family has been awesome! I have two kids emeho actually ask when their next cleanings are. My husband and I have both had root canal procedures with them, and I got the teeth whitening services. Awesome find, I can’t recommend them highly enough!

I have been going to Dr. McLachlan’s practice for quite a while. He is the best dentist I’ve had, and I’ve had many (I’m an old geezer), but I didn’t realize how good he is until now. Just recently, I had a tooth, with a previous root canal treatment done by another dentist, crack. That tooth was also the anchor to a bridge. It all resulted in an extraction, and a bone graft in preparation for some implants. Dr. McLachlan and Leticia, his assistant, worked on me for well over an hour in a series of very complicated procedures. I was very impressed with Dr. McLachlan’s up-to-date knowledge and meticulous skill, Leticia’s very competent assistance, the overall professionalism and friendliness of everyone in the practice, and the state-of-art technology he uses. This all resulted in me getting through the procedure and subsequent recovery with minimal discomfort. Dr. McLachlan explained everything he planned to do beforehand, everything he was doing during the procedure, and he prepared me for the recovery process well. To Dr. McLachlan’s credit, the whole practice runs with an exceptional level of professionalism, good humor, friendliness and caring. I couldn’t give a more positive review. Thank you!

Referred to Dr. McLachlan by an employer and WOW!!!!! I have never felt so informed, involved, and professionally cared for in a dental office! Dr. McLachlan and his staff were friendly and open about procedures. I went for a cleaning and check-up. It started with a panoramic x-ray of my mouth, the normal x-rays, then they took pics of my teeth. All of these were used to educate and inform me about potential problems. I felt like they took note of my whole oral health and not just my teeth. The whole process was less invasive than most dental offices and I will trust my mouth to no one else in SLC. The building is older but the office is more than clean.

I was referred to Grandview Dental 4 years ago by a friend and have not been disappointed. Dr. McLachlan and his staff are best in class. Not only are they extremely competent, but they are positive, kind and take the time necessary with each patient. There is such a great autonomous culture that is almost tangible. On one occasion I had a dental emergency on a Saturday and was shocked that within minutes Dr. McLachlan himself called me right back and was able to get me the necessary treatment very quickly and was so gracious about the situation. I recognize that that may not always be a possibility to give treatment so quickly, but I certainly appreciated it. Grandview Dental is by far the best dental group I’ve ever had. Thank you!
