Our kids have been going here for years and they’ve always been great! The women at the front desk are very friendly and efficient. I actually enjoy taking my kids there. Dr. Sharif has always been pleasant, professional, and easy to discuss things with. Very happy! Recently, my teenage son had a couple seizures within a month and needed to have his braces temporarily removed for an MRI. Their office made what could have been an expensive, time consuming, complicated process in an emotional time easy. I received a call from one of the doctors to discuss and they fit my son in and made it happen. Great place to take your kids!!

Fantastic experience. Wonderful to be able to make an appointment for myself and my two daughters, everything from teeth cleaning to orthodontic work, and have it all seen to at once. Very friendly and professional staff. I am so very happy to have found them! I highly recommend!

Dr. Sharif was very transparent straightforward and thorough. She explained everything to us in a manner we can understand. Our family was very happy with the procedure and the results. The staff and nurses are very nice and professional. The practice is brand new with all the latest technologies for dentistry. Great place highly recommend!

I went to her for a second opinion on my 4 year old who needed a root canal. It turned out she was the only practice in the area that actually used the Fairfax Inova hospital to use anesthesia on my son (which insurance covers.) Most dental practices use a traveling anesthesiologist, olympic anesthesia, who won’t schedule any earlier than noon (but your kid can’t eat for 6 hours before that.) Somehow he considers that reasonable. Anyway, it took several months to get a hospital appointment but after the procedure, she called personally twice to check up on my son and see how he was doing. I really appreciated that level of care.

Our three kids started going to Dr. Sharif at the age of 3 and continued until they were in their early 20’s!  In fact, one is still going to see her because he doesn’t want to change dentists yet – although, he knows that day is coming soon!  She is an excellent dentist, so calm and reassuring for the kids, and she is extremely knowledgeable. Two of my kids had to get braces, so she handled all of that as well. The staff is very welcoming and the techs are excellent too.  Everyone works extremely well with kids.  The office is very inviting, and the tv’s in the waiting and exam rooms with cartoons and kids’s shows playing continuously definitely helps. Needless to say, it was never hard to get the kids to go the dentist! I would definitely recommend Dr. Sharif and her practice!

My daughter was 2 and 1/2 when we first visited the dentist and it was a great experience. Dr. Sharif and her staff were patient and realized the anxiety associated with toddler’s first visit to the dentist and made it fun. They let my daughter touch the tooth cleaner, and never pushed her that first visit. Thereafter, there was far less anxiety associated with visiting the dentist and she does great. Most of all she is honest and knowledgeable, employing the latest technology and technics in the area of pediatric dentistry. Her staff was also helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend her, and recommend that you visit her early and often to keep your kids used to seeing the dentist and out of trouble with cavities.

From the receptionist to the dentist this place is 5 star!!! When my daughter needed a tooth pulled (6 yrs old) she and I were very anxious, but doctor Shohreh was so calm and soothing and before we could blink it was over! The second time she had a tooth pulled I was hesitant because it can be pricey and they told me they could do it without using gas (which is most of the cost) I wasn’t sure but she pulled it off no pain, very easy, very calm. Flash forward 1 year later, she just had 3 teeth pulled today and it was done in no time no anxiety and they asked my daughter what movie she would like to watch on demand during the procedure, it was awesome! Also there was a very scared little boy and they had the receptionist and 3 assistants helping the mom to get his x-rays. Dr. Shohreh is not pushy at all which I love! She suggested a retainer for my daughter a couple years ago and I said I’d like to wait until she’s older and that was that. She respected my decision. Also when we first started going here I was skeptical about radiation from x-rays so I declined and they never questioned me or forced them. The receptionist is always mindful of school holidays and tries to get us in when the kids won’t miss school. Highly recommend this practice!!

I highly recommend this office. I have lived in the NoVA area my whole life and I have had a hard time finding and keeping a pediatric dentist due to the various unsettling issues that turn patients off such as long-wait times, non-transparent treatment plans etc. This office respects patients time by seeing patients on time, clearly communicates patient responsibility costs, are accurate and efficient in scheduling appointments. The professionalism, kindness, expediency, and efficiency of all the staff (front desk, hygienists, assistants, etc.) are top-notch. They are welcoming, warm, and inclusive. This office is a gem, I am so happy i found them. I highly recommend them.

This Denist office is incredible!! The location is convenient. Dr Shorief is a wonderful, patient doctor that works well with children. She does a fantastic job treating her patients.Her staff especially Anna and Shelby take that extra time to really talk to you and get to know you to feel very comfortable during your visit.
