The office was easy to find and on a nice section of town. The office was clean and decorated nice. The staff were all very friendly. It wasn’t crowded so they were able to take me back immediately. My dental hygienist was great. I believe her name was Heather. She was kind and very knowledgeable! She took her time and did a great job cleaning my teeth! The doctor came in briefly but he was very pleasant as well! I have always felt that cleanings can be uncomfortable as I try to make conversation with a hand or tools in my mouth but this office has TVs on the ceiling so that made it way more enjoyable and comfortable! The hour that I spent there flew by so fast that I didn’t even know an hour had passed! I would definitely recommend this office to anyone! (I’m even trying to get my husband to set up an appt there!)

I am from out of town, and needed an emergency procedure done.  I am very glad that I called Dr. Eckel — he was incredibly helpful. He worked very carefully on my complicated procedure, even fixing where other dentists had previously went wrong.  He uses state-of-the-art equipment and charged an extremely fair price.  He was easy to talk with and seemed genuinely interested in giving me the best care possible.  I highly recommend his practice to anyone seeking a dentist in the area.  5 out of 5.

Dr. Eckel is the best. I have always had such big fears of dental work. I am very nervous and Dr. Eckel makes me feel comfortable and will go the extra mile to make sure I am comfortable. I love that I get to see all the same people and you can definantly feel the family like atmosphere. Ms.Jackie is awesome and she always makes sure I am comfortable aswell! I absolutely love thier receptionist Sara! She is so on it! She always makes it a point to check on me. She always accomodates for my scheduling needs. She makes me feel so comfortable. I feel like I can ask her any question and she will find an answer.

If there were more than 5 stars available for this review – then I would give every star available to Dr. Eckel! He is the nicest, kindest, caring dentist that I have ever been to in my 64 years of life!! I was reluctant to see a new dentist because they were my least favorite people. But, Dr. Eckel is wonderful. He put me at ease on the very first visit. He worked with my insurance company to get the treatment I needed. I was still a little uneasy about the first treatment appointment. I was surprised right off the bat! He doesn’t use that nasty tasting swab thing to numb the gum and then that horrific PINCH of the numbing solution going into your gum. He taps on the area and I NEVER FELT A THING!!! When he said “ok, let’s let that sit for a bit” I asked him if he had already numbed the area to which he replied “yes”! HE’S THE BEST!!!!! I think Dental schools should clone Dr. Eckel! He is one in a million! His interaction with his patients is great! He’s the first dentist, in my life, that didn’t make me feel like $$$$$ when I walked into his office. He LISTENED to me. Then he examined my problems and told me what he would do if it were him! He broke my treatment plans into several appointments so I wouldn’t have problems opening my jaw the next day. I just can’t say enough about him. He makes you feel like you are his only patient today. Jackie in the front office is the sweetest person. She has a knack with patients and is very concerned and caring. I only wish I had found Green Hills Smiles sooner. Thank you Dr. Eckel and thank you Jackie for all the kindness, care and concern that you have shown to me over the past few weeks. I look forward to finishing up the treatment plan with the very best Dentist in the whole USA!!!!!!!!! Keep up the excellent work!

Was a little uneasy upon arrival because admittedly hadn’t been to the dentist in years. Alexa was exceptional in the way she eliminated any anxiety I had. Also, she was very gentile throughout the process. I will absolutely reference this office to friends and anyone who is looking for the best possible experience.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at the dentist! The staff is friendly, relaxed and informative.  Dr. Eckels is very personable. The whole atmosphere is laid back so it takes the anxiety of a dental visit away immediately.  Plus I had a great teeth cleaning and will be going back for some additional work!

The team at green hills smiles is wonderful. All the services i’ve received here have been great. I’ve received cleanings as well as other dental work, all wonderful. update: jacquie contacted me and let me know that there were issues with the insurance company that were resolved, and they are now able to continue to service it until december. cheers to that! everything below this is old news. However, after being told that my insurance would be supported for the rest of the year (2018) in February, I got a message today that it will no longer be accepted after June 20 (today is june 13). There are no available appointments before my coverage stops, and the office is closed for the final week of coverage! I can’t change my dental coverage until next year. This notification should have been sent out months ago, and they shouldn’t have said that coverage would extend to the end of the year at any point if this option was on the table. I’ve given three stars, because the actual service is great. Poor communication and poor execution of policies loses two sta i will alter my review if there was communication that I missed.

I can hardly express how pleased I am with my experiences. On my first visit two years ago, I was given a comprehensive treatment plan that is very reasonable and have already had one crown replaced with no interest financing. The very low-turnover staff is genuine, friendly, and compassionate; and the lovely office is located on a beautiful, quiet street with plenty of free parking. Tell them Harrison sent you!

Super clean dental space. Staff is so friendly and calming if you have dental anxiety like me. They are tedious yet gentle. They also have the latest tools in dental technology. They are open and honest about finances; they don’t try to scam you. The check in process and appointment reminders are great and professional.

We drive a commute of 1+ hour to visit a good dentist. And it is 100% worth the drive. My son had his first ever dentist appointment with dr. Eckel and his staff. They were very thorough in cleaning and inspecting his teeth. Dr. Eckel even gave a recommendation to a pediatrician dentist to go to for some fillings. Everyone worked so nicely with my son and he left the dentist office so happy! My family and I will continue to use Green Hill Smiles!

A really great dentist, accepts a wide variety of insurance and takes pride in his work. His staff is friendly as well. He spends a lot of time with his patients and has excellent bedside manner – a breath of fresh air coming from NYC. Does not push unnecessary procedures or treatments. Has new technology for deep cleaning which speeds up the process.
