My initial visit was July, 2016. Sitting in a Dentist’s chair makes me sweat, my heart pound much faster than normal…I just become so anxious when I walk through the doors. Dr. Hassid is great!! I felt comfortable from the minute I walked through the doors. His staff is just as great as he is! The office environment is very pleasant. Vivian gave me a warm welcome. Her knowledge of dealing with insurance and out of pocket charges was another comfort. My first cleaning was in, Chandra (Hygenist) was extra gentle. I’m usually gripping the chair arms, but in this case, I was more relaxed than I ever remember being in any Hygenist’s chair. I had one major procedure done with Dr. Hassid and I LOVE the end result. It was started and completed much quicker than expected and without any hitches. I have another procedure coming up pretty soon and I am confident that Dr. Hassid and his staff will make me feel comfortable. I have confidence that he will do another great job for me!!! I thank my co-worker for recommending him!! Thanks Dr. Hassid and team for your great work and wonderful environment for us anxious patients.

I saw Jeanne for my prophy and she did a wonderful job. She was gentle, thorough, and friendly. I always enjoy going to Dr Hassid’s office because I know he is honest and does great work. Marcia is sweet and knowledgeable about insurance. I asked to be put on a cancellation list and she found me an appointment that worked with my schedule. Wonderful dental office all around

Dr. Hassid and his staff are absolutely fantastic! They have always gone above and beyond for me to make sure I’m comfortable and happy with my teeth. Dr. Hassid is highly professional and pays attention to detail with your teeth. I love that he’s never heavy handed with your teeth, which used to be one of the reasons I hated going to other dentists. He was there through my entire braces journey and kept my teeth clean and would even communicate with my orthodontist for me if need be. I love all of his dental hygienists/assistants, they are knowledgeable, kind, have a great sense of humor, and professional. Marcia at the front desk has always been so sweet, she’s great at scheduling me and always responds in a timely manner. You can tell Dr.hassid only wants the best people on his staff. His dental office is pristine and you can definitely see that he cares a lot about cleanliness and hygiene which is so important when dealing with people’s mouths. I have been treated with the upmost care, concern and respect. His office is an hour away from where I live in the woodlands and I still insist on making the drive just because it’s worth it to have a dentist who truly cares about your teeth health. Not only does he care about healthy teeth but he makes sure they look the best they can! Highly recommended by me!

I couldn’t be any happier with my choice to switch to Hassid Dental. It all starts with a very convenient location with easy (free) parking, to being greeted by very friendly & knowledgeable staff! The office is beautiful with latest technology to take care of all of your dental needs. I was able to see my x-rays and photos on the flat screen so Dr. Hassid could explain exactly what needed to be done. I asked about cosmetic services and was given all the information I requested without feeling pressured! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hassid and his amazing staff!! You will not be disappointed!

Since making my first appointment, this office has been so amazing. I was not sure on the appointment and my insurance and they were nice about getting me information. Every one there on my visit was so nice and pleasant. The Dentist was the nicest most straight forward one I have ever had. He took images and showed me in detail what I need and took his time. He made sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions. This has by far been the best dental office I have ever been to.

Dr. Hassid and his team are incredible! I had a pretty nightmare-ish experience at different dentist and was hesitant to go back to the dentist at all. It’s a very calm atmosphere (great for the dentist which is typically a stressful event) and all the employees were kind and professional. Dr. Hassid went through my pictures with me and was able to answer some questions I had about dental work in a way that was easy for me to understand. I’m actually looking forward to going back to the dentist for once! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

I’ve been going to Dr. Hassid’s practice for about a year and a half now. I’ll be the first to admit that I am not particularly fond of going to the dentist. Dr. Hassid and the entire staff are friendly and make you feel welcome & comfortable. I have cavity prone teeth and Dr. Hassid has been helpful with explaining my x-rays, fixing bad fillings, filling new ones, making me aware of problem areas and the best yet, telling me I don’t have any! Chandra does as wonderful job cleaning my teeth and is very sweet and personable. The practice is small, personal and beautiful. It is located in a great part of town and the building has plenty of parking. Free parking! I highly recommend Dr. Hassid if you’re looking for a new dentist in Houston!

I never thought I’d ever look forward to going to the dentist! I absolutely love Dr. Hassid’s office! Dr. Hassid is so friendly, knowledgeable and personable! I love that he takes his time to listen to your concerns and thoroughly answers any questions you have. I also appreciate that he seems to have a conservative approach when it comes to your oral/dental health. Ashley, the Registered Dental Hygienist is just as amazing. I used to dread getting my teeth cleaned, but she makes it seem relaxing. She’s so thorough, efficient and sweet and by far the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. I promise I am not exaggerating! Customer service is excellent, and everyone is extremely efficient here. I’ve never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for my appointment. If you’re new to Houston or just looking for a new dentist, I can’t express how much I love and recommend Dr. Hassid! Already looking forward to my next visit!

Had my first visit with the team this morning. Cleaning went smoothly, had all of the newer technology I had come to expect from my previous dentist, and I could tell they were prepared for the folks that don’t like dentists with rechargeable headsets for music, etc. Chandra (my hygienist) was very thorough but also very gentle with no misplaced pokes or prods. There was also a full workup on my first visit and a generous 15-20 minutes from Dr. Hassid explaining the process at the beginning and reviewing my dental health with me after my cleaning while reviewing pictures and x-rays. Truly a professional dentist office that is clean, comfortable, and filled with excellent people.

I am petrified of going to the dentist! I chipped my front tooth from grinding my teeth at night and was completely mortified to show my face at work. I stayed up late looking at places with the best reviews and found dr hassid. The very next morning the receptionist called to work me in on my off day and couldn’t have been nicer. Dr Hassid took almost an hour with me explaining to me different ways he could fix my tooth and made a recommendation of what would be the best result for least amount of money….and fixed it the same day! I left with my confidence and immediately booked a cleaning for my husband and I. Such sweet and professional staff and the office is beautiful and modern. New customers for life!!!

Dr. Hassid and his staff are the best. I’ve got about a zero pain tolerance, and they are so friendly and calm that it helps me relax from the minute I walk in the door. Dr. Hassid is very thorough and explains everything and isn’t pushy about anything (the way a cosmetic dentist I went to in The Woodlands was). He and his staff actually care, which is nice. And anytime I’ve had something major done, Dr. Hassid always call in the evening to check in and see how I’m feeling. Also, I’ve changed jobs and insurances and they are always willing to help me navigate that side of it, making sure I was clear on any (very reasonable) charges, calling my insurance for me, etc.

I had a couple of issues with my teeth that the Doctor made me feel comfortable with getting fixed. He was out of network for me but it was still worth it to go to Dr. Hassid! The lovely woman at the front desk made understanding the insurance stuff really simple for someone like me. The (I dont know the name of the role) woman who cleaned my teeth did an awesome job as well. I highly recommend going to see these people

New patient appointment yesterday and everything was fantastic. The office and staff are taking extra precautions with COVID and speaking as an ICU nurse they are doing a great job. The office is equipped with new dental equipment. I had one of the most thorough teeth examinations which included a 3D scan, picture photos, X-rays, and teeth cleaning completed. I highly recommend switching to Dr. Hassid! He has excellent bedside manner and never tried to oversell anything which is always my fear when going to a new dentist. All of the three office staff were also top notch. You will not be disappointed.

Everything about my experience in Dr. Hassid’s office was worthy of 5 stars! The staff were all incredibly welcoming. The office is beautiful and in a great part of town. Free, ample parking is available. The front desk staff is incredibly sweet and helpful. My teeth cleaning by Chandra was so great! She is very thorough but also gentle. Then I met with Dr. Hassid and he was very knowledgeable and he too had a gentle touch. He explained my X-rays to me in detail, something none of my other dentists have ever done before. The office uses all state of the art equipment but it is decorated beautifully so you feel more at home than in most doctors offices. I would recommend Dr. Hassid and staff to anyone!

I recently used Hassid Dental to replace a cemented bottom retainer that had come loose after many years. I chose Hassid Dental mainly due to the very positive reviews on Yelp. After my personal experience I agree with all of the other 5 star reviews. They fit me in for an appointment immediatley and were very professional and courteous throughout the process. I would highly recommend them for your regular care physician. If I did not already have a dentist of my own which I have been using for 15 years, I would change in a heartbeat (I still may). Wayne

I have a medical disorder that makes going to the dentist torture (had a tumor removed in my throat and nerve damage left me with no control of part of my tongue and jaw). Dr. Hassid and his wonderful staff are my lifesavers! No longer do I dread a dental visit. At my first visit, he listened carefully as I explained my health issue and neither he nor his staff has ever made me feel embarrassed because of my nervousness. I need nitrous because of this problem. He always makes sure the nitrous setting is comfortable and that I am relaxed before he begins a procedure. His dental hygienists do the same. The receptionist is wonderful, too. I can’t recommend Dr. Hassid highly enough.

If you are searching for a new dentist, search no more. Many many moons ago, I was a dental assistant. My first job as an assistant I was blessed to work for a phenomenal dentist in Pennsylvania. The bar was set very high in terms of my own dental care, and up until now I have been to four different dentists in Houston and none of them blew me away. Until now. I set up an appointment with Dr. Hassid for my cleaning and exam. I had a molar extracted last year and I am ready to proceed with a dental implant, so I also wanted a consultation for the implant. I had an 8:00 appointment, and upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the front desk receptionist and shortly after, his assistants both came out to introduce themselves to me. I could be wrong but I think one of the assistants must have been new as it seemed that she was learning the ropes of his office. She was outstanding – very sweet and professional and I felt completely comfortable with her. Dr. Hassid came into the treatment room and introduced himself and was also very kind and professional. I was 100% at ease with him and felt confident in his care. He was very thoughtful and explained the process of the implantation. He reviewed my panoramic xray and spent time showing me the bone level and told me I was an excellent candidate for the procedure. They were all very very nice and professional and thorough. I did not have to wait at all and they made me feel like I had 100% of their attention and focus. I didn’t feel rushed and I really appreciated that they didn’t try selling me on whitening or other cosmetic procedures. Two days after my appointment I received a hand written note from Dr. Hassid welcoming me to the practice and expressing gratitude for my trust in their care. Having been a dental assistant, I know what goes on behind the scenes – it isn’t always on the up and up if you know what I mean. With Dr. Hassid, I guarantee you their best interest is YOU. They genuinely care about their patients and it shows. The office is beautiful – tucked away near River Oaks on West Alabama. Parking is easy and the office is easy to find. I am so glad I found Dr. Hassid. I can’t imagine going to anyone else now that I’ve seen him.

So last night a quarter of my tooth fell off while I was eating a soft piece of chocolate, because apparently this is the shit that starts to happen when you get close to 40. A normal adult might just think “Oh, better schedule an appointment with my dentist,” but I don’t have a “my dentist” because for me going to the dentist is a kryptonite beam that instantly eliminates all traces of grown-ass manliness from my body. For perspective, I have been to the dentist 3 times since 2005, when I was told I needed an immediate root canal, and each time it was a different dentist because every time I have left a dental office I have stomped my feet and vowed like a stubborn child to never to go back. With that in mind, please understand that when I say my experience today with Dr. Hassid wasn’t horrible, it is a complement of the highest order. The office is upscale and totally modern, Dr. Hassid, his office staff, and his techs were friendly and patient while he explained to me in extreme detail what he was going to do (I was happy that he recommended a less-expensive “onlay” instead of a crown, keeping most of my tooth intact rather than grinding it all away and replacing it). He worked calmly and confidently, and best of all he numbed the hell out of me till it felt like a ten pound weight was hanging from my face, so I didn’t feel a thing. The result (this is just the temporary one right now) looks and feels amazing. Even though he’s out of network for me, the bill wasn’t too bad – it was a Grey Goose experience for an Absolut price (I don’t drink either one of those, but I’m struggling to come up with a better metaphor right now). Anyway, this evening I was home happily chewing things with my new tooth and congratulating myself on going to the dentist like a boss when I get *a personal call* from Dr. Hassid just checking in to see if everything was ok. Whaaaaa? TL;DR: Awesome, highly recommend.

About three months ago, I moved from Houston to another major city in Texas, and I am seriously considering making the trek to Houston for routine dental visits–that is how excellent Dr. Hassid and his team of staff are in all aspects of patient care. After my root canal procedure last year, he called me that evening to check in on my recovery. He even wrote me a thank-you note for being a patient about six weeks after my procedure was complete! I should be sure to add, of course, that the quality of his dental work was excellent, too. Without hesitation, I can honestly say that my experience with Dr. Hassid and his office has been probably the _best_ medical experience, of any specialty, that I have ever had (and I have had many over the years

Fast, easy, front tooth bonding that has lasted over 2 years now. I chipped the corner of my front tooth and had it bonded twice by Floss Dental in midtown. The bonding fell out both times in month or less. I was so annoyed! Why did they keep putting it back on if they didn’t have the expertise to know that it would stick? Because they knew I would have to come back and yet again pay more! I came to David Hassid in efforts for a more permanent solution. I am shocked that as I sit here writing this 2 years later my bonding is still in great shape. He was a little more expensive, but so worth it. They got me in to see David in ONE day and had my appointment set for the next day. He had an innovative way to get the bonding to stick and i’m so pleased with the overall look. He took the time and patience to make my tooth look as natural as possible and you would never be able to tell there is any sort of bondage. Also, a few days after my procedure he wrote me a hand written letter thanking me for coming to see him. That sort of gesture really goes a long way with me! If I ever need oral cosmetic dentistry again I will be making the trek back to Houston to see David!

Absolutely remarkable experience!!! It had been years since I had cosmetic work done on one of my front teeth. The tooth was severely discolored and I knew it needed to be fixed, but I was very nervous about who I could trust. Thanks to yelp, I came across Dr. Hassid’s website and decided to reach out. I was a bit anxious, but when I called, I spoke with Vivian, who immediately put me right at ease. I told her my situation, and explained the time constraint I was under since my insurance was about to expire, and she scheduled me the next day. Very understanding and accommodating! Dr. Hassid then performed the consultation and just three days later, he put in a temp veneer and everything was on track. What’s even better is, despite how quickly everything came together, I didn’t feel rushed in the least. Dr. Hassid was gentle, patient, caring, and personable. He respects his patients and wants to provide the best treatment possible. I’m so glad to have found him! I will definitely be returning for any other dental needs. Seriously, I can’t recommend him enough!

I will be having a surgical procedure on my salivary gland at the end of the month and thought it best to go ahead and get my teeth cleaned beforehand. I was on a waiting list for which they called me in only a few days to get me in before my surgery. LOVE the Hygienist. LOVE Dr. Hassid. Can’t say enough good things about the front office staff. Dr. Hassid always makes me feel very comfortable and valued as a patient. I’ve never seen such technology as he has in his office. The cool surroundings and overall vibe does not feel like that of a dental office. I highly recommend Dr. Hassid and his team.

Dr. Hassid is INCREDIBLE. I left his office crying tears of joy, and that’s absolutely never been my experience anywhere else. I loved my hygienist at a prior dentist but had one too many issues, so I finally decided to give my husband’s dentist a try. He had been raving about Dr. Hassid for years, but I was stubborn, and luckily I finally made the decision to give him a try. Dr. Hassid’s office is extremely nice, and they have a lot of awesome technology. The dental assistant was wonderful, and she helped to start out my experience on a great note. I came in with a ton of anxiety and expressed all of my concerns to Dr. Hassid. He always made me feel comfortable and never let me feel like a burden. He walked me through each of the steps he was taking and was willing to hand scale my entire cleaning. He is extremely easy to talk to, and you can tell how knowledgable he is. You just feel at ease being in his chair, and let me tell you, I am not one to feel at ease very often, especially not at a dentist’s office. I am in awe about that experience, and I’d recommend anyone to Dr. Hassid. You will never need another dentist again.
