Dr. Wither and her staff are amazing! My dad was a dentist and had treated me my entire life. When he retired, I was scared that I would not find another dentist with whom I was comfortable. I began seeing Dr. Witnther, and she has been wonderful! I had an issue with a veneer breaking off, and she was able to get me in the same day to repair it. It was the day before her wedding, and she was not even supposed to be at the office, but she came in just to see me! I also had issues with the temporary crown getting stained, and the staff was again able to get me in the same day to fix it. Bao has been excellent about returning my phone calls and messages quickly and giving me a treatment plan. Everyone in the entire office is warm, friendly, and welcoming. In addition, they don’t charge you for unnecessary services. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Winther and her staff!

I’ve been to Dr. Winther twice now and both times have been an AMAZING experience. First let me say everyone in her office is extremely knowledgable and very friendly. The office is very timely, I have never been there longer than the advised time and they always take me in on time. Dr. Winther did an incredible job on my two fillings. I felt no pain or discomfort during or after the procedure. Sometimes after fillings things feel a little off for a while but not with Dr. Winther. My teeth automatically felt better and back to normal. Her friendly attitude makes you feel and ease and comfortable. Her and her entire staff is great!

Dentists that you can trust are few and far between. Dr. Winthers is the first dentist I have met in Los Angeles that does not try to find something that needs “fixing” unless you truly need it done. The field of dentistry needs more dentists like her and less money grubbing scammers that charge you $$$ for unnecessary procedures and in the end do more harm than good to your teeth; an asset that I would argue is the true window to the soul 😉 Her staff rock too

GR8 with teeth 🙂 I’m not a “Yelper”, I don’t generally Yelp but I saw these reviews and felt a need to contribute. I HATE going to the dentist but LOVE going to Dr Winther! I have a horrible dentist phobia but Dr Winther is incredibly understanding, caring and gentle!!! I’ve been her patient for 5 years and I can’t speak highly enough about her practice and her staff. Look no further she’s amazing!! I heart Dr Winther to pieces… Reese’s Pieces!

I was nervous about trying a new DDS for the first time in many years but had a great experience with Dr Winther and her staff.  The office was clean and pleasant and I was taken in for my new patient appt very quickly. Anna was my assigned assistant and she did a great job of painlessly taking my full set of x rays. As Anna finished up, Dr Winther came in to review them, examine me, and discuss  my needs.  She was very reassuring and I felt confident about what she was explaining. I was also very happy to get my teeth cleaned at the same appointment. Overall a really good experience and I look forward to continuing the relationship for years to come. Thank you!

I initially started with this office approx 20 years ago when Dr. Hood was the primary dentist. Then it transitioned to Dr. Winther – who is now the primary dentist. I have always had great experiences and felt I was in good hands. I moved away and started going to another dentist closer to my home, but, was very unhappy. I decided to make the drive and go back- and I am so happy I did. The office staff is very friendly. The hygienist was extremely knowledgeable, gentle and funny. And Dr. Winther is extremely good at what she does. She’s very quick and responsive to questions. A great overall experience. I’d highly recommend this office to anyone and everyone. Big perk- you look out over the Marina and Ocean while in the chair.

I almost don’t want to tell you how great she is because she’ll get too busy for me! I’ve never been compelled to give a dentist raving reviews before but Dr. Winther is professional, personable, and knowledgable. Her entire staff is beyond nice as well and do their jobs with great skill and efficiency. Each person who took care of me was on point and very welcoming. Not to mention that I had the most thorough cleaning in my life. I had no issues making my appointment and they are great about reminding you about your appointment.

Am I crazy by saying that I actually like going to see Dr Winther? Possibly. I live in Downtown LA and commute all the way to the Marina, even though there’s probably 561 other local dentists that I could choose. But Dr Winther is my chosen one. Let’s start with parking because it seems to be an issue with other reviewers. Yes, the parking in the attached structure is expensive. It’s the marina, hello? If you don’t want to pay for parking, buy a snack at Ralph’s around the corner and leave your car parked there. That’s legal, right!? Well, that’s what I do. If you don’t mind paying for parking, then you shouldn’t have any complaints. So Daniel is the gem (guy that checks you in) at the front desk. He’s great. He knows his job like a master. He knows the dental industry, how to deal with patients, how to explain billing, etc. Other dental offices treat you like a number or a widget on a conveyer belt when you sign in. You won’t get that treatment with sweet Daniel. Dr Winther and her assistants (Ana and a few other ladies) are the creme of the crop in dentistry. They explain everything they’re doing before and while they’re doing their work, so you don’t have any sudden unexpected surprises in your mouth while you’re sitting there with your mouth wide open. It’s very comforting, especially since so many people fear going to the dentist. The office is super clean and the view of the marina from the dental chair is spectacular and calming. I’ve been to other offices and my view is a cheesy animation of a tooth as a cartoon character, reminding you not to forget to brush and floss.
