Getting braces as an adult is tough and even more so when you already went through it as a teen. Like most people reading through these reviews, I had to consult with more than one orthodontist office to see which place best fit my expectations. I needed a doctor and staff that gave me confidence in correcting my bite and smile, and Houston Orthodontic Specialists has! I’m very grateful for the special care Dr. Tabakman and Francine have taken care of me and continue to do so. I can’t wait to finish my treatment and show off my new smile.

Dr.Tabakman is the best orthodontist in Houston! He just finished my daughters braces. She had them for 2 years, and now her teeth look perfect! ( they were really crooked before braces). I chose Dr. Tabakman’s office after seing 3 orthodontists for consultation. He was the only one that I trusted right away. He was very professional, thorough, explained everything to me in detail, and the cost of treatment was very reasonable compared to other places. His staff has always been very nice , always greeted me with a smile. They were prompt and punctual with scheduling. We are all happy with the care we received here, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Tabakman to anybody!

Best Orthodontist in Town!!!!!. Dr. Tabakman is great. I have two daughters in braces as of this year, my 14 year old got hers last year and my 9 year old this year, I was a little nervous for two reasons – the first the cost because our dental insurance did not cover ortho treatment – the second the up keep because brushing their teeth is not the same when a child has braces. However, I must tell you West Houston Orthodontics offered a great payment plan for both my children, and Dr. Tabakman and staff are extremely patient, nice and know exactly how to talk to the children and parents when it comes to the maintenace during the treatment. I went to three other orthos before making my decision and Dr. Tabakman was the best.

Dr. Tabakman has been amazing and informative from my initial consultation to the moment I had my braces put on. Toni is also great, she explained and walked me through my plan and answered the million questions I had. Everyone at their office (Bellaire office is where I go) is friendly and ready to help in any way possible. Walking in, I had in my mind that I wanted Invisalign but after my consultation with Dr. Tabakman and a thorough explanation as to why braces would be best for me I was still excited to start the process! I would and will recommend Houston Ortho Specialist to all my friends and family!

We love coming in for my daughter’s appointments! Everyone is friendly, smiling and helpful from the front desk to the chair! Not to mention the inviting atmosphere! We both enjoy watching the concerts being played! Super relaxing!! Oh! And the coffee and cookies! Yum!! Top notch service and everyone makes it a point to make sure you feel like part of the family. 5 star service!! Best orthodontist in the Houston area!!

I’ve not used them personally for orthodontics, but I’ve had the experience of being in their office to install artwork. Very classy and professional group of fine folks. Always very courteous, smiling, and you can tell their clients actually enjoy their visits. And it’s evident they value their staff! Dr. T and his wife are great also! If you need orthodontics, definitely check them out!

My grandson was visiting from California and forgot his bands for his braces. We stopped in to see if we could purchase some. The kind woman at the front desk called his dentist in California for the prescription and then provided us with enough bands to last the couple weeks he would be in town– all of this at no charge and with a smile!

West Houston Orthodontic Specialists made my experience wearing braces easy and painless. I suffered from TMJ for years along with severe jaw pain. It was completely alleviated in 17 months. The entire staff is cheerful, punctual and professional. I highly recommend this practice for children and adults like me. Check them out. You will be glad you did.

Francine and her staff are absolutely professional, friendly, and great. They were able to accommodate me for an Invisalign scan when I could not get to my regular orthodontist in NY. I was only a guest patient and was still treated with the same professionalism I would expect for a regular patient. In this new culture of Covid19 pandemic, I was touched by their generosity, willingness, and helpfulness to help non-regular patients like me when it is not their responsibility. And the clinic is so clean, modern, and new. If the doctors are as good as the rest of the practice (my visit did not require meeting a doctor), I recommend this place without any reservation.

Truly grateful to have found Dr. Tabakman and West Houston Orthodontics. My nephew started treatment earlier this year with Dr. T. When I found out that their practice used cutting edge technology I knew I had to come in for a consultation. This is the 2nd time in my life that I needed orthodontics work so it was important to me that the experience and the “relationship” between my doctor, his staff and I had to be perfect. The treatment plans were amazing and customizable, financing flexible and an excellence in customer service. Most importantly, all should know that advancement in orthodontics can be seen here. Compared to braces 10+ years ago, tools today are better, faster and SMALLER, the shopping strip location makes all the more sense. When you see this place you will understand. Glad to have found you.
