Never have I felt so comfortable at a dentist! I came here for my first dental exam in 4 years. (Had no dental insurance.) They promptly took X-rays and sure enough, I need a root canal. Dr Shi was very thorough in his explanation and I never felt rushed. Because I haven’t been to a dentist in 4 years I got a deep cleaning as well. Dr Shi and his staff Serena and Ruby were all very friendly, warm and helpful. I loved this dentist! I already have my root canal scheduled for later this month. Came to Dr. Shi’s office for the first time for my bi-annual cleaning. Was recommended through a friend. The front desk administrator, Rose, was very pleasant to speak with and provided sufficient follow up prior to the visit.

Dr. Shi was very pleasant and explained everything in great detail. I typically ask a lot of questions when I go to any type of healthcare provider and Dr. Shi took his time to answer my questions without making me feel rushed.

I was also impressed by the cool hand-held X-ray machine (looks like Buzz Lightyear’s gun!) that made it faster and easier to take X-rays of my teeth. Roberto, who helped Dr. Shi, also made me feel comfortable and had a good sense of humor. An overall positive experience.

Working in the healthcare industry, I am typically critical of the care I receive from providers. I was very pleased with how Dr. Shi and his team are very attentive, detailed and how they made me feel comfortable and informed the whole time. All in all, I am definitely coming back to Dr. Shi for my dental care and would recommend anyone else to make an appointment with Dr. Shi for their dental needs.

I found IQ Dental and Dr Shi through my insurance. I am so glad I found him! I used to have jacked up crooked teeth and never liked to see dentists. Now my teeth look great after doing Invisible clear aligners with him…and it took less than a year!

Still going here, and continue to receive friendly, ethical, and excellent service.  I’ve decided that I will look forward to bringing my family here as well.  It’s nice to find a medical/dental professional that treats you like a patient and not like a number or bank account.  Dr. Shi has personally done the cleanings (with Rubi, his RDA, finishing up with polishing).  At my last dental office, I was lucky to even see the dentist for a few minutes, if at all, during my visits.

Dr.Shi is the best dentist I have seen ever in China and here! He and his stuff are all nice and patient, and he really cares his patient from his heart! My wife has a sever gum disease and need to clean her teeth every 3 month, and Dr Shi always cleans very carefully each time! Furthermore, the price is reasonable and acceptable for us!  He is amazing!

Been here about 6 years and Dr. Shi is excellent always on time and very professional!  Office is clean and staff members are always nice.  I highly recommend him to family and friend.

I recommend going to Dr. Shi if you are looking for a caring dentist. My boyfriend and I went to Dr. Shi to get our fillings done and we are very happy with the results. Also I would love to mention the staff there! They’re so nice and friendly, they made sure I felt comfortable at all times

Dr. Shi and his staff are very friendly.  I came in for teeth whitening and the results are amazing!  I have received many compliments about my teeth. The experience was comfortable and pleasant. The office staff is helpful and the facility is very clean (which is really important to me).  I highly recommend IQ Dental if you’re looking for a great dentist and office.

(…)I frantically started searching for a dentist that could take me in today. I called Dr. Shi’s office because it was close to me, yet knew nothing about him. A very friendly girl answered the phone and I explain my problem it; was 9:30 AM, she said she had just gotten a 10 o’clock cancellation which I could have; I said I would be there!  I waited less than a minute, then Dr. Shi came to the lobby and introduced himself, and brought me back.  Long story short, he determined I needed a root canal, which should’ve already been done by my own dentist, who I had just seen less than a month ago!!!  He took so much time with me, showed me my x-rays, explained everything he was going to do,  and kept asking if I was in any pain during the procedure. He even apologized that it was taking longer because I had so much calcification in the root.  He did such a great job, is obviously very bright and caring, and what a great personality, he’s funny!!!  Oh, and what a great staff, an all-around great experience and great find; I have a new dentist!!!!

I would give this office a 10 stars if possible! This is the BEST dentist I have been to. Dr. Shi is VERY knowledgeable and professional. He was able to turn a terrible experience from a previous dental office into a great one. I send my entire family here! No need to look any further IQ dental is the best around!

(…)I came in to get my two crowns done and Dr. Shi was Great! I was worried if the procedure would hurt and I was pleasantly surprised when he started working on me.
He is very patient and took pictures and x rays so he could show me what he was doing step by step. He is very conservative and always gives you options to consider so I could make an informed decision.
The office as a whole is very patient friendly and willing to work with you. I am a cash patient and their prices were great and affordable plus they had payment options. I felt that they really cared about me and wanted to help me out.

Dr Shi. was very kind and knowledgeable and took the time to explain treatment and answer the questions I had for him. The price is very reasonable and when it comes to health I don’t bargain. This office definitely stands by their name of IQ = integrity & quality. I definitely will be a returning patient and highly recommend this office.

Dr. Shi is amazing!!  He caught a large cavity that my other dentist missed (it could have lead to a potential root canal).  He took his time to fill the large cavity and after 2 weeks of a little sensitivity, I feel 100% again(…).

Did great work and was very flexible, reasonable and fast. The best part was definitely the detail oriented nature of the doctor. Need a great dentist fast or are looking for a life long dentist dr. Shi is your guy!!

(…)I went to IQ dental for oral exam and teeth cleaning. Dr. Shi is very detailed, thorough, and did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth! He took pictures of my teeth, explained to me what needed to be done and where, and patiently answered every question I had. He’s very honest and recommends only treatments necessary not trying to push you to do anything you don’t feel like doing. I appreciate his honesty and care for his patients!

I felt very comfortable at the office and really enjoyed talking to Dr. Shi and his staff. Everyone there is super friendly, personal, and the environment is relaxing and helps you feel at ease!
