I have been going to Dr. Woodell for the past 3 years. There are always very kind, thoughtful and provide excellent care. There are flexible with there appointments and the courtesy call to remind me of my appointment has saved me on more than one occasion. As far as dental care, I feel always getting honest, helpful and clear information. They make going to the dentist as pleasant as possible.

I have never had the best of luck when it comes to my teeth. So my previous experiences have not always been the best when it comes to visiting the dentist. Shortly after I moved to Virginia, I broke a filling of mine and had to find a new dentist in a hurry so that I could fix the pain that I was experiencing in my mouth. Lucky for me, the dice landed with Dr. Wooddell and his lovely staff. With my past bad luck I had a pretty strong fear of the dentist and was really nervous about getting my filling fixed. But with each visit to Dr. Woodell’s office my fear is slowly going away. He is gentle, kind and actually cares about his patients as well as his staff. Even though I always ask for the earliest appointments available, as soon as I walk in the door I am greeted with huge smiles. I just finished a 9 month process for a dental implant and am so happy Dr. Wooddell and staff have been there to help me through it all. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area!

Dr. Wooddell and his staff are absolutely amazing.  I have been going for about 10 years and feel very welcomed every time.  Dr. Wooddell takes his time with every patient, and gives you his full attention.  His hygienist is fantastic and I always look forward to going to see her.  I truly enjoy going to see Dr. Wooddell and staff, it always feels like I am catching up with old friends. The office always communicates well, taking care of my insurance needs and reminding me of appointments.  If you want a phenomenal dentist who makes you feel welcomed and a great staff who is always helpful and attentive, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Wooddell for your dental needs.

Dr.. Wooddell is a great dentist that my family has used for 40+ years. He has a fantastic sense of humor that entertains patents and parents in the chair and out. **update ** Just finished my 10 week invisalign express treatment with Dr. Wooddell. I had a slight concern about one tooth and during the removal of the attachments the technician (Kim) reminded me of my concern that I states to her earlier and I asked Dr. Wooddell to check it out and he took care of it for me immediately! At the end of my appointment they gave me my 4 set of permanent retainers(ones that I will wear at night for the rest of my life)and a small bouquet of flowers. I’ve never been more impressed and happy to have such a wonderful denstist and his wonderful staff. I can’t thank them enough for how much they’ve helped me!! Thank you Dr. Woodell’s office!!!!

I am one of THOSE people — the kind with severe dental phobia and high dental anxiety.  I have been Dr. Wooddell’s patient for several years and my dental anxiety is GONE, completely gone. To say he is competent is an understatement.  He is really a highly skilled craftsman, who happens to be very gentle, caring and personable. I often tease Dr. W, telling him that he appears to be “unflappable.”  No matter how serious I may think my dental problem is, no matter what the dental “crisis” is in my mind, in his usual calm and reassuring manner, he will let me know that he has it covered.  His staff  — the “two Kims” and Theresa are all equally competent and kind.  I fell so lucky to have found him.  My husband also sees him too. Who would ever think that the day would come when I would look forward to going to the dentist?

I have been going to Dr Wooddell for over 25 years and have been completely satisfied with him, his work and his team. They are very caring and customer focused and will do whatever they can to ensure you are happy and satisfied with his work. Besides the normal dentistry work that he does well, researching rare procedures or coming in on a Sunday night for an emergency is not a problem for Dr Wooddell. It is clear his patients come first. I am surprised that another Kevin W from Fairfax did not have a good visit but that has not been my experience at all. Quite the opposite.

Highly recommend. The hygienists are outstanding and Dr. Wooddell is superb. His techniques for numbing and basic fillings are gentle and truly ease any anxiety. I had 1 poor filling from a prior dentist that was rough and always bothered me, he replaced it and i don’t even notice it anymore- the sign of a true good dentist! Very trusting and we highly recommend him!
