I had a root canal and crown placed by another dentist about 18 months ago. I have been feeling a slight pressure around that tooth ever since. My now “old” dentist told me that it would go away and it was nothing to worry about… I was in Dr. Levine’s chair for about 30 seconds when he started asking questions about the pain and pressure that my old dentist never asked (when does it hurt, more at night or during the day, do certain certain foods increase the pain, describe the pressure in detail etc.). He correctly assessed that the crown was fit improperly and that it was placing way too much pressure on the surrounding gums/ligament. They cut it off. Yes, I know – not what you want to do with a semi- new crown. But guess what? I have had the temp. on for a few days and zero pain or pressure. I am writing this review mid-treatment because I was impressed by he and his staff. They did not just grumble that “the pain will go away” and treat me like I have no idea what I am talking about (even though it is my own mouth.)…like dentist past. Also, just to be sure it was not a “bad root canal” the office, while I was in the chair, emailed a hi-res x-ray to their go to endodontis. He called back a few minutes to say the root canal looked good and that it was the crown causing the pain. Wow! Will write more post new crown (in a few days).

I moved from the West Coast last year and have been here twice so far. The 1st time to get my teeth cleaned and examined and the 2nd time to have an in office whitening. I also purchased Jonathan’s whitening kit, which I love. I have a cleaning scheduled next week with Jessica, she’s great. I asked to see her again. She cleaned my teeth the 1st time and did my whitening. I believe they have more than 1 hygenist. Dr. Levine has done well and hey they don’t have to scam you here like most dental offices. I’ve met Levine, he’s a personable guy. I was referred to him by a couple who have been going to his office for years. You pay for the best and that’s what you get.

Had a cleaning at the practice with Paula today, pretty amazing experience. Thorough, painless, informative, cutting edge technology, new X-ray machine, no more old bite wings ! Amazing !!! Cancer screening, checked my anatomy and saw 3D my wisdom teeth and some things I could have done. The best whitening ever. Hands down . No pain, just white and beautiful. And just so you know – everyone there gives you that same unmatched experience! This team really cares. Love them!

Dr. Jonathan Levine‘s practice is fabulous. The office is beautiful and I felt completely comfortable with all the precautions they have been taken to make it Covid safe. JBL New York City has an amazing team. From the front desk to the talented dentists and dental assistants that make up this outstanding practice. I really appreciate the time and care that was spent with me. I highly recommend the office. You are in good hands with any member of the JBL team!

This is the best dental practice in the United States. Dr Jonathan Levine leads an excellent team of dental experts and professionals who provide leading-edge dental solutions. The people are terrific and you know you are dealing with the A team. I appreciate all the care that has gone into their COVID safe procedures and environment. I felt completely safe.

I have been going to Kellen Mori for a few years now.  I first saw her when I had a cosmetic dentistry emergency and she effortlessly fixed the problem beautifully. It wasn’t easy as she had to replace several missing veneers that a bad dentist had done years earlier which had fallen out as I was walking around NYC. Then I decided to have her fix everything and re-do my mouth fixing teeth which had been “overly prepared” by the previous dentist making it very hard to create strong, secure and natural veneers. I wanted her to restore my smile it to a more natural smile with straight, whiter teeth with all new veneers. It was especially challenging as she didn’t have my original smile to go from and had to work from old photos and use her imagination & artistry to create what it should be (all while dealing with bad veneers already in my mouth).  And yet the results are INCREDIBLE! It was painless, easy, and truly an unbelievable experience.  Even her “temporaries” were so good everyone thought they were my final veneers. I watched a movie while she worked and at one point, I was so calm I even fell asleep.  When I woke up, she had done a mouth full gorgeous teeth and fixed my bite and given me what is even a more natural, confident and strong smile than I’d ever hoped for. A true makeover and and given me an even bite for the first time in 20 years.  I adore her as a professional, an artist and as a caring, honest and warm person who I trust completely and will forever be grateful to.

I have been following my dental hygienist for many years and she has been working at JBL for quite a number of years so that’s where I come and I have to say that I look forward to every visit. The team at reception is most welcoming. I have been treated for refills and crowns and I have always been taken care of with utmost professionalism. It is all around a very positive experience and I highly recommend Dr Levine’s practice.

In 2004, I needed major jaw reconstruction, my bite was off, my teeth were chipping and I suffered from occasional headaches. At that time my oral surgeon referred me to Jonathan’s office, his exact words were: “If my child needed a dentist of this magnitude I would refer them to Jonathan”. I am so glad I took his advice! Along with Jonathan being a great guy, he has state of the art equipment and the balance between practical and aesthetic sense. Kellen his first in command helps with all the heavy lifting and is his equal, Anise is full of support and communicates so well. I am so happy I found these guys, I truly feel the warmth and care for my well being. The rest of staff is on point including Paula, Georgia; previously Jennifer and now Emmy. I can help but notice everyone smiling and laughing throughout the office without any sacrifice to the excellent care. Their philanthropic efforts don’t go unnoticed as well. Wonderful culture set in motion by both Jonathan and Kellen. Together they both took Jonathan’s National Championship Lacrosse pedigree and planted the shingle front and center in his office! Thank you all!❤️

JBL after hours is a dream! I never thought I would be getting a cleaning and whitening at 7pm at night but their new hours made it possible. Definitely coming back. The previous dentist place I went to was a disaster (Another dentist). This time around Mary Jane at JBL was so sweet and informative, constantly making sure that I was comfortable. I did the Teeth whitening (3 sessions) and left with no sensitivity! They use Glo which is top of the line. I have very sensitive teeth so I was very surprised. I went up 5 shades.
