Then we found John Wood and our searching is over. They care about you and work to plan the best individualized program available. Diane cleaned my teeth without pain and recommended preventive home care with written instructions. You can’t go wrong with John Wood, DDS.

As dentists go I’m not really fond of them I’ve had some bad experiences in the past but I’ve been to Jonh G. Woods dentistry three times already and I have not had one bad experience. I’ve had extensive work done and his staff is so nice. He’s reasonable. I was made to feel comfortable right from the start. So I highly recommend Dr. Wood his lovely assistant Jennifer and the rest of his staff. As dental experiences go Dr Wood and his staff is the way to go.

Like most people, I am not a fan of visiting the dentist, especially for what I assumed would be an extraction of a molar (or worse).  But after waking up at 2:30am one morning because of an agonizing pain, I knew I had to visit the dreaded dentist. Dr. Woods office was a two minute drive from my house, was open at 7:00am, and more importantly, had wonderful reviews from other patients.  I called and spoke with Lisa who was so kind to me, she said that I could be seen that very day at 2:30.  I asked her to let me know if anything sooner opened up in the meantime.  She then told me to come in at 8:00am to get the paperwork and x-rays out of the way, that way we could just immediately begin the work in the afternoon.  I happily accepted that suggestion!  While there, after the x-rays, Dr. Woods numbed the area up with a long-lasting shot so I could make it through the day until he could work on the tooth.  They were able to bump me up to 2:00pm, which was also great, the sooner the better.  I had to had a root canal on my back molar (which has three nerves…UGH!), but other than a few short pains, the procedure was nowhere near as bad as I thought it’d be.  The whole time everyone helped to calm me down because of how nervous and distraught I was, which made the whole process so much easier.  I still need to go back in one week to complete the procedure, but I am not afraid, thanks to the kind and caring staff and Dr. Woods concern for my pain.  I have already referred two friends to Dr. Woods office and I will continue to refer anyone that needs a dentist.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wood and his staff since 2001. I drive across town to see them because I feel they are a top-notch dental group. I’m also a bit of a “problem” patient as I get anxious at the dentist but Dr. Wood and his team are wonderful and patient with me. And he’s especially considerate that I am self-employed and have no dental insurance so he offers a cash plan and really makes a point to identify what is needed immediately and what can wait. I highly recommend Dr. Wood and his team for all your dental care needs.

Doctor Woods is wonderful, friendly, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable. You will never want another dentist but if you’re in the unfortunate situation where you need one, they will never live up to the expectations you gained from Dr. Woods. The front office is amazing as well. Appointments always run on time thanks to the courteous front staff. They’re always polite which is more than you can say for many medical facilities. They handle billing with care, are more than willing to work with your schedule and needs, and send reminders for long-standing appointments with plenty of notification time. From top to bottom, this is one of the best facilities all around. It’s a pleasure to do business here.

Coming up on age 62 – I’ve been all over the world to include 25 years with the US Army.  I’d say after being assigned in 10 different major cities and retired almost 20 years gives me a little credibility when I make the following claim.  What I have found over the years is that a dentist office gets half of everything done right.  The dentist is great but the staff not so much and Vs versa.  For the first time – I have finally found a Dentist office that performs amazingly from front to back. My wife and I have been with Dr Wood’s practice for almost 2 years and every single visit is better than the last.

Going to the dentist can be scary sometimes, and I have had past experiences I wouldn’t want to repeat.  But since going to Dr Wood, I have nothing but excellent reviews.  His office is always friendly and helpful; and his team is highly skilled.  Dr. Wood is the reason why.  He leads his staff by setting high standards of care.  I just finished the first stage of getting a crown and it was painless.  Both Dr Wood and his assistant worked like a finely tuned instrument, efficiently completing the procedure while ensuring my comfort.  I have had previous work by him and it is consistently the same high quality of treatment.  I hope he doesn’t plan on retiring any time soon.  I don’t think there is another dentist or office that I have found as trustworthy, caring, or professional.

Dr. Wood is an amazing dentist. He is friendly, knowledgeable and cares about his patients. He never makes me feel rushed when I am asking questions and he makes me feel at ease in the chair. I have never felt pushed into making any hasty decisions on major dental work. His staff is just amazing as well. Everyone is friendly and they greet you by name. When they gave me a referral for an orthodontist, they provided me with all information that I needed and also offered to send any information over to save me time. Liz, the dental hygienist, has always done my cleanings and she is such a genuinely sweet person. She always takes her time and I feel great when she has completed the cleaning. The exam rooms and front office are clean and modern. I feel very relaxed when I am in the office, either waiting or sitting in the chair. All machinery is never outdated or worn. I tell everyone how great Dr. Wood and his staff are all the time!.

Dr. Wood is an excellent, compassionate person and a great dentist. Exceptionally nice, up-to-date office and very friendly staff. My dental needs have been well taken care of at this office and I would recommend Dr. Wood and his staff to anyone!

I had a very awesome experience at Dr. Wood and Dr. Ewell’s office. As soon as you walk in the door the staff is very welcoming and sweet and upon entering everyone acknowledged that I was there for my appointment I was seen by Dr. Ewell she was very thorough with her examination she explained every step she was taking so I knew exactly what was going on. Marlin her assistant was great and was very gentle and quick while taking my x-rays. After my examination and x-rays I had my cleaning with the hygienist Diane. Diane was very welcoming again just like the rest of the staff she explained what she would be doing. Diane was also very gentle the entire time. Overall my experience at Dr.Wood and Dr. Ewell’s office was outstanding and I would highly recommend this office to everyone.

We had our first appointment today and everyone at this office was amazing. Dr. Wood took the time to explain to my husband exactly what was going on with his teeth and his recommendations. The hygienists and office staff were friendly and super helpful. Dr. Ewell was so kind and had a lot of great recommendations. Thank you!!
