I just moved to the city and had not picked a new dentist or endodontist, when suddenly on Sunday night my crown fell off (placed by a different dentist) and caused me extreme pain. I called and left a message with an answering service at a large practice I had an appointment scheduled with next month to see if they could take me ASAP to treat me, and then also left a message at Dr. Rubin’s office at the recommendation of a friend. I never, not even the next day, got a call back from the large practice. However, within an hour of leaving my message at Dr. Rubin’s office, Dr. Rubin called me personally to talk. When Dr. Rubin called he was very warm and spent 10 minutes on a Sunday night on the phone with me talking about the issue and answering my questions. He told me he could see me the next morning, and also let me know I could contact him with any questions in the meantime. He answered one more question that night over text and then he even followed up with some pain management tips to get through the night. When I arrived at the office, the front staff was very friendly and worked quickly. Dr. Rubin greeted me in the waiting room while I was filling out new patient forms, which made me feel more comfortable already having met my doctor before even heading back into the treatment room. Dr. Rubin was extremely sensitive of my dental anxiety, and explained to me exactly what he would be doing before he did it, and even brought up my xrays on the TV to show me what happened and why I was in pain. Somehow, despite my fear of dental work, he had me laughing in the chair. When he determined I would need to see an endodontist for additional emergent treatment, he called his family’s endodontist while I was still in the office and managed to get me an appointment later that day. Dr. Rubin’s obvious #1 priority is the comfort of the patient both physically and mentally. I felt my fears about receiving dental treatment were listened to and understood. Dr. Rubin went above and beyond to take me on as a new patient, accommodate quick treatment, and thoroughly explained to me what he thought a good treatment plan would be moving forward. I could not be more appreciative of the care he provided and would recommend him to anyone – even the dentist-phobes like me.

Dr. Rubin is phenomenal! I had to see him for a handful of appointments and he was always professional, thorough and gentle. I’m someone who has always dreaded going to the Dentist but he is truly fantastic. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes and the staff in its entirety just goes above and beyond. I’ve already recommended over 5 – 10 coworkers to him!

Dr Rubin is hands down, the best dentist I’ve ever visited. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, has pristine facilities, an extremely friendly staff, and a bedside manner that goes above and beyond to make his patients’s visit as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Rubin to anyone!

Have always been deathly afraid of the dentist. Dr. Rubin changed that for me. He is the absolute best I have ever been to; explains everything he is doing/about to do to prevent anxiety. He’s thorough, patient and above all else, comforting. I’d recommend him to absolutely anyone.

Very professional and easy to interact with; I felt pretty comfortable the entire visit. I liked his treatment approach and left his office feeling confident that I had a clear understanding of my dental situation and the work that needs to be done. Most importantly he took his time to explain a great deal of information to me in detail.

I have been to many dentists in my life. The great thing about Dr. Rubin Is that he goes out of his way to make you feel extremely comfortable. Also, he explains things so that you know exactly what is happening at all times. I found this very comforting, in fact even motivating. I now find myself excited about better dental hygiene.

Hands down, the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Dr. Rubin and his staff are all very personable and make the visit enjoyable. He is thorough and took the time to explain things, and taught me how to correctly floss and brush my teeth in a way I never knew before. My gums were very sensitive from not flossing enough and he was kind enough to put a numbing ointment on them before cleaning. The office is clean, nice, and very easy to get to especially if you work in the midtown area. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rubin.
