I am so impressed with this practice. First up, the ability to be seen at 7:00 AM is great for my busy schedule. The woman who did my X-ray and asked me if I wanted the 3D of my teeth was great in answering all my questions about insurance coverage because it is a new policy. Dr. Harriman took the time with my examination and walking me through some complex issues I am having with a cracked crown and some gum disease that is causing me discomfort. Finally back to my nervousness and busy schedule, my checkout included working with my schedule and giving me estimates (followed up this week with actuals) of insurance coverage. All around very positive experience that I also felt was very safe and Covid-19 conscious which was a big concern in going to the dentist during a pandemic. Highly recommend on all counts.

I was a patient of Dr. Harriman for well over 15 years until I moved away but I still highly recommend her and her practice. Karen has a comforting demeanor that trickles down to her Hygienist and office staff. The staff takes care of everything and are very efficient while the Hygienist walk you through their process and constantly check to make sure you are comfortable. Then Dr. Karen completes the checkup and you always feel better than when first arrived. They are all considerate and very professional.

Dr. Harriman has been my dentist for 20 years!!! She puts ALL of her effort into every bit of work she does. She will ALWAYS fit you in no matter how busy her schedule is because she truly cares about all of her patients. I have been going to her for so long that I have seen the same people coming back to see only Dr. Harriman for as long as I have ☺️ That is a true comfort to see!! Not only does she do some of the most difficult root canals …But she straightens teeth as well with invisalign!!!! It was so nice seeing Dr Harriman and Megan back together. I was Dr Harriman’s patient in Waldorf and I moved to VA, well what do you know, she did as well. Now I don’t have to drive to Waldorf to see her. The entire staff at this office is awesome. Molly was my hygienist. She is a gem. Great sense of humor and she’s so upbeat. She did such a wonderful job on my teeth. Meagan, I can’t say enough about her, fell in love with her in Waldorf. We moved to Virginia from Texas and before that from Australia 3 years ago. My wife had a dodgy crown (done in Texas) that fell off. At 2am in the morning she managed to get a hold of Adel and he took care of her and fixed everything up. On her advice I saw Adel and have never experienced a dentist like this before. Without making me feel stupid, he took the time to explain a number of dental concepts and when in the chair he has a strong concern to make sure you are comfortable. What I like the most is his attention to detail and in particular pride in the quality of his work. He checks and rechecks things (e.g. the bite on a tooth) to make sure it has been done properly and will rework something until it is done properly. The office also has some good systems in place for reminders. The only small downside has been the occasional reschedule being required for a variety of valid reasons (injury, snowstorm, power outage, and once for a conference). With that said I couldn’t more highly recommend a dentist. Every other dentis I’ve had in my 40 years I’ve always felt have been working the angles to maximize the $. With Adel he has minimized unecessary work but highlighted necessary work along with teaching me more preventative methods to minimize the trips required. He has also noted other items for follow up that are outside his area of expertise but he know the warning signs. I’ve always felt like he has my best interests at heart.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and our Comprehensive and Esthetic Dental practice. We proudly serve the communities of Falls Church, Seven Corners, Arlington and the greater Northern Virginia and DC metro area. Dentistry has truly been my passion for over 25 years! I am devoted to helping my patients achieve their dream smile. My practice philosophy is helping my patients achieve optimal oral health, utilizing the the highest standards of care in the most comfortable way possible. I take a boutique approach to patient care. My team and I take ample time to listen to patient needs and build a treatment plan that supports each patient's unique oral care goals. We are comprehensive in our service offering and proudly offer a variety of general, restorative and cosmetic dental services. I am also a provider of Invisalign® Clear Aligners. Patient care, comfort and safety will always be our top priority.I continually strive to use the most modern techniques to offer my patients superior care. I am a proud member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. I am also a delegate to the Maryland State Dental Association as well as an appointee to the Budget and Finance Committee and the Membership Committee. I have been named "US Top Dentist" by Consumers Research Council of America yearly for the last 15 years. I regularly volunteer my time with the Mission of Mercy and Carpenter's Shelter and other charitable organizations. Most recently my children and I created and printed 3-D N95 masks and shields which we donated to support nurses, dentists, doctors, assistants and EMS personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, I received an Honors Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Guelph. I came to the United States to study dentistry and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. Earlier in my career, I spent a year and a half practicing dentistry and working with the Inuit community, in the Canadian Arctic.
