Before COVID, I went to a dentist in Florida and they told me I had a cavity, but it was too small to fill. “After” covid (end of May), I made an appointment with Dr. Russell’s Office and they were able to see me within 2 days of making the appointment. I was incredibly nervous to have my cavity filled because I haven’t had a cavity since I was a kid and I did not want the numbing injection. Dr. Russell reassured me what the drilling & filling would be like without the numbing injection and made me feel 100% comfortable. Also, they gave me the option to get the injection during the procedure, if I experienced pain. As the procedure started, Dr. Russell asked me multiple times if I was okay, which I was okay. The filling took about 15 minutes. Dr. Russell and his staff are the nicest people and very professional. They truly care about their patients. This is the best dentist I’ve ever been too. Ive since recommenced this office to my partner, best friend, and siblings. I recommend their office to you too!

I went for the first time in seven years today to a dentist and it was a great experience. Dr Kenneth Russell is very polite and was also gentle. Great bedside manner. I moved out of town (like 2 hours away) and I am choosing to continue to use Dr. R for my dental care. His staff is professional, his prices are reasonable. He explains everything that needs to be done and he is thorough but not aggressive (in other words looking for things to “repair” to pad his pockets). He is honest, caring and thorough!

Great service, amazing staff, and an overall outstanding experience. I hadn’t been to a dentist in years due to negative experiences I had at a previous office. But at this practice I was made to feel extremely welcome, and comfortable. The staff took time to explain everything they were doing, which was beyond any other pervious experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. They also were able to get me immediately scheduled for a follow up appointment within 1 day. Absolutely fabulous and will never go anywhere else.

If you come to this place, you’re guaranteed to be taken care of like family! Dr Russell and his associates and everyone that works in this building is very helpful and very kind. I’ve never had a dentist that I trusted so much. They are very honest people and do a great job but most of all, they’re not trying to rob your wallet. They help you manage things with your insurance so that it won’t be ridiculous to get some work done. I’ve only been seeing them for the past month and I’ve had three appointments thus far. My experience has been great every time. They work in a timely manner and don’t keep you waiting all day. They really have a great thing going here. And if you’re anything like me, you drive about any distance to have a good dentist. Currently I’m driving about 30 minutes each time one way to come visit this place and I can tell you it’s worth every minute of travel. I’m recommending everyone I know to this place because he’s just that good!

Always a very welcoming atmosphere. The dental hygenists are always very nice and very thorough. I have to say they sold me on the Phillips Sonicare. I did not purchase it from them but on their advice I bought two. One for me one for my wife and it was the best dental decision I have made. They probably do sell them from their office but naturally I am a bargain shopper. Highly recommend this dentist and the Sonicare…..all the other electric toothbrushes do not compair.

I’m very selective when looking for a dentist. Not only must they have excellent skills they must also be conservative. Their office must be user friendly and staff must be competent. This means I have high expectations. Dr. Russell and his staff surpass my requirements. It took awhile to get a same day appointment for my wife and I but it was well worth the wait. The new patient examination is quite extensive. They even do a high tech check for cancer cells. Dr. Russell and his staff blew us away. I highly recommend this wonderful practice to meet your needs.

I was visiting from Oregon and needed an emergency dentist. Dr. Russell got me in the same day. His staff is awesome! Very caring, friendly, and professional. From reception to intake to initial greeting to support throughout, I thought they were very good. Dr. Russell himself is marvelous. He’s warm and friendly, caring and obviously very knowledgeable. We discussed treatment options and when I left, I felt he’d really taken the time to understand and think about my situation, and make the correct recommendation. I wish he’d move to Oregon! Great professional, great team, great experience. If I lived in Winston-Salem, I wouldn’t hesitate to have Dr. Russell as my regular.

I am a big fan of this dentist office! Well as much of a fan as you can be seeing seeing how after all I don’t know of anyone who is excited to go to the dentist. They never make you wait very long for your appointment and it is also pretty easy to get an appointment scheduled. The woman manning the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The hygienists are very thorough and do this thing when you are a new patient where they measure all of your pockets and take literally 18 x-rays. They were able to catch something with the chompers that no one else had and needed some attention paid to it. Also as a bonus they even have TVs at the end of the dental chair so you can watch tv if you have to wait at all when you are in the room and then you can listen to it while they work on your teeth.

I think some would agree that a visit to the dentist is not one that most people are excited for. However, Vicki, the staff, and Dr. Russell himself make your visit with them feel like going to your favorite family’s for a visit. Their office provides such a personal feel which reduces that anxiety felt towards going to the dentist. You don’t feel like you’re just another patient with them. You and your longterm care matter to them. Dr. Russell is open and honest with his opinion about handling your dental needs and what’s best for you. I’m not from N.C., and am glad I found his practice for my longterm dental care which they have provided me with for well over 18 years now. I just love Dr Russell! I reluctantly had to leave my lifelong dentist because they didn’t accept my new insurance. I was extremely upset. For my first visit to Dr Russell, well, I was very apprehensive and wasn’t expecting much. By the end of my visit, Sydney, my hygienist, and Dr Russell, had me in stitches. They are so nice and funny and down to earth. I highly recommend them. They also have really cool “new” equipment that many dentists don’t have. I love having my teeth cleaned, and was excited to have new technologies used. I hate I had to leave my old dentist, but am glad I found Dr Russell!

When I first came here I was seeing another dentist in a city closer to me. Of course on a Friday night my bridge fell out, my dentist is closed on the weekends and it is really painful for me when my bridge is out. Thanks to Google recommendations I tried Dr. Russell’s office and they stayed after hours for me to get my bridge reattached. I am so thankful to Dr. Russell and his kind staff. I didn’t at all feel like an inconvenience, they were all polite and answered all my questions about how to prevent this from happening and took the opportunity to get to know me even though I wasn’t a regular patient there. After the repair I asked the front desk if they were accepting new patients and switched myself and my daughter here because of their amazing service. I was not satisfied with my two other dentists so I decided to come to Dr Russell. The staff has been very friendly helpful and above all competent in dealing with dental needs. Every time I went to my other dentist there was always something that had to be done to my teeth, cavity or working on alignment because of bite. It became a very expensive experience. I felt very uncomfortable with their work and after a while I started to distrust their recommendations. I had never had dental issues like these before. Dr Russell shows me exactly what’s going, and what to watch for with my teeth. I rarely have problems even though I’m older now and my teeth should be more challenging. It is nice and comforting to go to a dentist that I trust.

I have been through 4 dentists in my life but Dr. Russell’s office has been the best one. The office is filled with very friendly hygenists (sp?) and admin staff. Dr. Russell is kind, good listener, and very knowledgable as well. I was impressed with their new xray machine that made x-rays quick and easy with no uncomfortable bite-wings to move around in your mouth. I have sensitive teeth and they are diligent to be careful as they clean uncomfortable areas of my teeth. Highly recommend Dr. Russell!
