The first dental office I took my 3 year old son to, he hated it. He was scared and cry the whole time. I thought maybe because he was still young and it’ll take time for him to get used to it. We decided to try it again but at a different office. Once we walked into Kensington Dental he was already more comfortable. The front staff was so friendly and welcomed us like family. My son saw Dr. Le and right off the bat wasn’t scared. Dr. Le was very interactive with my son, explained everything to him and made it fun. His assistant Jessica polished his teeth and he nothing but smiles. I will definitely be going back there for my son and I.

I went in on a Friday afternoon with an emergency broken tooth. They took me in right away, did everything they had to do; x-rays, semi-root canal, temporary crown and had me scheduled for my permanent work in two weeks. I’m in an unforeseen financial bind and they were able to work all kinds of magic to help me out. AMAZING people from reception to dentist!! Couldn’t be more happy and out of pain!! Thanks so very much to everyone of you!! I would recommend this office to anyone and have to all my co-workers and friends!!

How about this…keeping it real 1000% If this dental group says you have Periodontal disease or better news gingivitis it must be the case. The reason why a person gets periodontal disease “GUM DISEASE” is because you do not floss or us the oral-b tooth pics to clean the plaque away from your teeth daily and after every meal. Oh shocker when you come to the dentist and they want 1,000’s of dollars to treat a person that has gum disease. Well how about this…”Its not the dentist fault that you do not brush your teeth regularly.” “One time a day doesn’t get it.” “Flossing after each meal.” “Use tooth pics made for the crevice of your teeth and gums where plaque builds up. Over time not going to the dentist twice a year for a regular cleaning will ultimately cause you to have gum disease. Don’t be like me who when I was told I had periodontal disease in my early twenties I brushed it off and said “That dentist was trying to screw me.” “I just went for a cleaning and she’s telling me I got a horrible gum disease.” “Then the nerve of her wanting to charge me $1,000’s of dollars.” I was in the Midwest when I was told I had this gum disease. I didn’t listen. Now in my late thirties I pride myself on taking better care of all of me. I went to Kensington Dental Group. Wow, the customer service I got to the comfort exemplary. My periodontal disease because I left it untreated for so long eroded 30-40% of my natural bone. When I was told the first time in my early 20’s it was 10-20%. Here’s the deal…”My teeth are white as white as you can probably get them.” I get complemented even by Dr. Le and his staff on how white my teeth are….”That doesn’t mean I have healthy gums and no gum disease. Bacteria plaque is a sticky, colorless film that constantly forms on teeth. If you do not get your teeth cleaned regularly and the plaque continues to build and build it forms calcium deposits which eat away at your natural bone and gum line. White teeth doesn’t mean you have a healthy mouth. I am proud to say my dentist, Dr. Ronny Le, and his staff have taken the time, care, and knowledge to educate me on my mouth, my condition that I brought on myself by being stubborn in my early 20’s. If you brush your teeth 3 to 4 times a day, floss, and use the tooth pic and a dentist still tells you gum disease you have then you haven’t gotten your regular cleanings. The oral hygienist has machines and see’s areas to use those special tools. Do not try it yourself I should know it doesn’t work. I am not going to fix my car for I am not a mechanic. I am not going to build a house for I am not a contractor. I am not going to cook for a banquet for I am not a chef. Go to the dentist twice a year for your cleanings this will help prevent gum disease. For once you contract it you have it for life. Dr. Le and his staff is helping me ensure that I do not have dentures at 50. Do not be mad at any of these wonderful people for your arrogance and pride! Honestly, you should go back get the knowledge and help stop a problem before it gets worse. And yes, it is very intimidating when you go in for a cleaning expecting less than a $100 bill or free because of insurance and all of a sudden this bill comes and it is an insane amount of money. Let me ask you something “How much are your teeth worth?” “How much is your smile worth.” I work in the public and I cannot have teeth and a mouth that looks like a smoker’s mouth, crack that is!

Susan C. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

What a wonderful dental practice and great group of people! I called this morning to set up an appointment because of a horrible toothache. I was referred by an highly satisfied existing client. I was elated to be worked into their schedule that day and not only did I receive a comprehensive new client exam but also work to address the immediate problem/pain (pending a root canal). It was so nice to be treated like I had been going there for years. I loved the caring staff and Dr. Le’s commitment to helping me conquer my fears. His skill and the confidence of his team made a very long and complicated appointment a huge success!

Rachel S. from Los Angeles, CA (Source: Yelp)

I don’t think most people enjoy going to the dentist, but I am grateful that this dental experience was memorable and oddly excited to return back for more. I have had a series of dental issues over the years and am glad that Kensington Dental provides a clean facility, digital x-rays, and the highest technology I’ve seen in a dental office. I felt that I was able to make well-informed decisions based off of the support from the dentist and benefits coordinator. I have a few procedures coming up and I am confident that the experience will be as pleasant as a dental procedure can be. I highly recommend coming here if you are nervous about your dental care as they truly take the time to make sure you are comfortable.

Jordan C. from Chula Vista, CA (Source: Yelp)

As I write this review, the revered Dental Hygienist Charlene is cleaning my teeth. Some might know her as the small Asian girl with glasses who cleans your teeth, but most know her the “Mozart of Teeth Cleaners.” A touch so gentle in your mouth, that you forget that someone is sticking a metal pick down your throat and violating your gums. My teeth have improved so drastically from the first time I came that it would be the equivalence of winning on the “The Biggest Loser.” My teeth have finally found someone to care for them; a soulmate to rid them of their sins. I will forever be indebted to Charlene and how she saved my Teeth’s life.

Amanda B. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

Kensington Dental Group came highly recommended from a good friend and she was absolutely right! The doctor and entire staff are amazing – friendly, knowledgeable and no pain! I hadn’t been consistent with my cleaning appointments and yet they didn’t try to upsell with things I didn’t need or want. The billing specialist made sure I knew what was covered by insurance and how much would be out of pocket before any procedures started. And my favorite part, everything was so so so clean! I’ve recommended Kensington Dental Group to all of my family and friends!

Leslie A. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

Before you read this review, you need to know that I’m a complete dental snob only because I’ve spent 6 years in the dental field both on the administrative and clinical sides. So whenever I go into a new dental office I’m completely aware of the way they handle patient paperwork up to the way they disinfect their units. Helen was my dental assistant and took my complete, full mouth x-ray faster than anyone has ever done it before! She was efficient and made sure I felt comfortable with each bitewing. You could tell she knew exactly what she was doing. Dr. Le did my oral exam and periocharting (gum measurement). First of all, most doctors will refuse to periochart themselves nowadays and will only focus on treatment. This wasn’t the case with Dr. Le. I appreciate the fact that he wasn’t rushing to his next patient and took the time to educate me on my oral health. Dr. Le was extremely genuine, kind, and not pushy for treatment whatsoever. It was nice that they are able to show you your intraoral photos, x-rays, and even clinically why treatment is necessary in order to preserve your healthy tooth structure. Charlene was my dental hygienist. She was very skillful, detail-oriented, and patient… all of the characteristics that are essential for a successful dental hygienist. I was so relaxed throughout my dental cleaning that my leg started twitching…as if I was going through REM, lol. I will definitely be requesting her for all of my future dental cleanings! Cons – When looking up the address on my phone, it directs me to the back of their building. Also, it looks like they typically have street cleaning on the 3rd Wednesday of each month so I’d avoid scheduling an appointment then, lol. I could write an essay on them but I’ll save you time and end it here, haha. Above all, I have nothing but positive things to say about Kensington Dental and I will definitely be referring my friends and family to their office

Ariel R. from Hawaii (Source: Yelp)

After a horrible experience with another dentist, I came here looking to get my cracked filling taken care of.  Although my insurance had claimed the x-rays from my previous Dentist, the staff at Kensington Dental Group re-took them free of charge.  Dr. Le was very personable and really took the time to get to know me as a patient and a person.  Their office is updated with the best technology and Dr. Le, Bri, and Jessica were all SO great. Plus, they were not pushy or trying to up-sell me on treatments like many dentists are known for.  I had to get a partial overlay and am ecstatic with the result!  I have had fillings that have left me sensitive for a month afterwards, but I can chew and drink with minimal sensitivity the day after.  I look forward to coming back and establishing a good dental regimen as well as replacing all of my current silver fillings with pretty porcelain.

Henry W. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

I was very impressed by the work Kensington Dental Group did for me. For a number of years, because of frequent international travel, I had only been able to deal with urgent dental issues, so my mouth required extensive work. After examining my teeth Dr. Le gave me a detailed printout and by-item price list for the work that needed to be done. Although extensive– 2 extractions, 1 root canal, 3 fillings, 4 crowns, 2 partial plates– the price seemed reasonable for that amount of work. He also gave me a time frame for the work. He adhered to both the price and the time schedule; there were no surprises. The equipment at Kensington Dental Group is new and state-of-the-art. The staff was both pleasant and very competent. The pain management was excellent; very little discomfort during the work and none after. I am recommending Kensington Dental Group to my friends, as well as writing this review.

Sheryl N. from Bonita, CA (Source: Yelp)

I’ve heard a lot of great things about Kensington Dental and decided to come here for a 2nd opinion as I was advised to get a root canal by my assigned dental office. Scheduling was a breeze and they got me in quick. Jess did my xrays and immediately made me feel at ease (i get anxiety with anything dental related). Afterwards I met Dr. Le who, upon reviewing my xrays/teeth and performing a cold water test on my tooth in question, determined that a root canal would not be required at this time and that my tooth could still be successfully preserved a couple more years by crown implementation. He recommended going this route because once a root canal is performed a tooth would no longer be vital and my tooth was in appropriate enough condition, had no sensitivity, and nerve far enough for a crown; that showed me his genuine care for my teeth and i truly appreciated that! I later got a deep cleaning by the hygienist Charlene who made me feel relaxed and made me laugh from time to time while also checking up on me and making sure i was in no pain or discomfort . She definitely diminished all my dental fears, i felt 0 pain! After my procedures/check up i felt confident enough to completely reassign my preferred dental office to Kensington that same day! The front desk ladies, Jenn and Christina, went above and beyond by contacting my dental insurance and made the dental transfer within minutes even after dealing with a grumpy representative from the insurance company! Kensington Dental and their staff are everything and more! So glad I made my switch.

Anita H. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

This office is great! I hate dentists, but this office truly changed my mind. Dr. Le and his staff are very professional and polite. They made me feel very comfortable during my whole visit. I used to go to a dentist who would charge me a lot and kept wanting to make money off of me by telling me I needed to renew all my cavity fillings (I had 13 done)!! After I went to see Dr. Le, I found out that I actually had a good hygiene. I had bad migraines and I was given a mouth guard and now i wake up feeling great, plus he has good bed side manners. Dr. Le’s office manager, Resha, is amazing! She really has great dental knowledge and is not there just to collect money, but to answer all the questions you have, which is awesome! I referred my mom to Dr. Le and she got 3 bridges done and a whole lot of other procedures and had a great experience as well. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking to get work done fast and easy. Plus, their office is very clean and modern which is great!

Caiti R. from Dalton Gardens, ID (Source: Yelp)

I happened to meet one of the hygienists for this office Theresa and her and I clicked instantly she was very friendly and welcomed me to San Diego. Mentioning we both worked in the medical field when my wisdom teeth started bothering me I asked her which office she worked at and I was not disappointed. First Helen one of the dental assistants did my x rays she was very friendly yet professional. I just loved this atmosphere! Second, Dr. Le is very nice but he also takes time to get to know his patients and actually listens! So that he can address your questions, concerns, and problems correctly and in a way you understand. It was a busy afternoon and he himself did my cleaning. No other dentist office I have ever been to would a dentist jump in to do a cleaning! That shows he really cares not only for his patients but his employees there is a mutual respect you can see and feel. Then Charlene another hygienist came into to finish my cleaning so he could ya know go about being a doctor!  I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone and everyone!

Nathan H. from Chula Vista, CA (Source: Yelp)

Very clean dental office, Busy during my appointment but well managed. I like their use of technology, had me pre register online which saves time during check-in. I pads are used to check-in patients and signature pads are everywhere. Staff was very friendly, The Dentist sat me down in his office before the exam to chat with me about my teeth. Nice touch that does not always happen. Again they were busy, at no time did I feel rushed. Libby, Mike, Rebecca and Jolita were very nice. I will be returning to have my wisdom teeth pulled. I have total confidence in this facility after today’s visit. Thanks

Angel L. from Chula Vista, CA (Source: Yelp)

I never thought I’d be writing a 5 star review for a dental office, but here I am! I have a terrible history with dentists that goes all the way back to my childhood. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been one of those people deathly afraid to get anything done. From the horrible sound of the drill to my gigantic fear of needles, I’ve had enough excuses to do everything I could to get out of doing anything more than a routine cleaning. That all stops today! I had a great experience with everyone I met, and they made it their goal to make me feel comfortable. They didn’t pressure me at all into committing to anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary, and made sure to explain all of my options and the costs involved before moving forward with anything. I’ve finally found a dentist I won’t dread going to!

Erin L. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

Amazing staff all around. They go above and beyond. I get really stressed at the dentist and everyone made me feel extremely comfortable whether it was talking about my treatment options or payment options. I called in for a tooth that was bothering me and they got me an appointment the next day and I had an appointment to get my tooth removed the day after that. The oral surgeon did an amazing job, I had little to no swelling/pain a few hours after the procedure. Highly recommend Kensington 🙂

Isaac G. from Loma Portal, San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

I personally am not a fan of dental work due to my discomfort of the sounds of drilling, grinding, and injections. It actually had detoured me from seeking work that was much needed until I couldn’t handle the pain in my mouth. The staff at this facility welcomed me so warmly from the moment I walked in and made me feel comfortable. I was able to be seen in a timely manner which is beneficial because of my hectic schedule. After being checked in I was taken back to do my X-rays which actually impressed me. As specified before I hadn’t been to a dentist in a while but I’ve never such advancement in technology. They have advanced equipment which not only gives accurate results but doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable. All of this inside of an already elegant and clean office. They had to perform a root canal which I had heard from others was extremely painful. Not once was I ever in pain during the procedure thanks to Dr. Le. What was more impressive was that I was able to have this done and a crown made for me all within a two hour period. I’ve read that other dentistry offices may send you home with a temporary crown for two weeks until yours is made at a laboratory. This has been a great experience in my life. Dr. Le managed to save my tooth. Very grateful to all of the staff and the team work they all put forth to making their patients feel at home. It rare that you ever go to an office that provides you with this. Don’t ever hesitate to go to this office. I know that I will never be afraid to go visit the dentist ever again. Especially because I will be in good hands at Kensington Dental.

Mychal D. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

I want to give thanks to Kensington dental group for my smooth dental visit. All of the staff were very niccccceee, professional and knowledgeable. Any questions I had they knew all the answers. My mouth was well taken care of and no pain was endured. My dental hygienist sure has a soft touch. Their dental office is really neat, organized and clean which I liked. It’s conveniently located off the 15 freeway easy to find and get to. I’m very happy with my new dentist and will be coming back for my future dental needs.

Andrew Balane (Source: Google)

I had a great experience at Kensington Dental Group. Dr. Le and his staff, especially Charlene, are very thorough and take the time to make sure your teeth and gums are taken care of. I appreciate the fact that they take the time to make sure you are informed about the health of your teeth and educate you on any concerns you may have. Highly recommended.

David Z. from Oceanside, CA (Source: Yelp)

I had a crown fall out and needed a replacement fast. Kensington has same-day crowns and got me in the next day. Everyone from reception to Dr. Le were very friendly & efficient at their jobs. Had my exam & cleaning while waiting for the crown to be ready, a nice use of the time. For the little while I was waiting, they kept me updated on how much longer & I watched the NCAA tournament while in the chair! Not too shabby if you ask me. I also like the fund raiser they are involved with, nice to see they care about the community and will give a substantial discount for making even a small donation.

Nawar H. from El Cajon, CA (Source: Yelp)

If you’re looking to keep your teeth healthy and sparkling white at all times, I would definitely recommend Kensington Dental. The office just recently opened and I went in for my 6 month dental cleaning since I was in the area (I usually get cleaning and full teeth inspection twice a year – once in December and another in June). The office just’s literally all BRAND NEW!! They have this really cool 360* X Ray machine that took an X Ray of my entire mouth in a few seconds. Dr. Le and his staff were extremely helpful. When I walked into the office I was immediately greeted at the front desk. One thing that I additionally really liked about this office is the use of new technology. All the way from signing up at the front desk, to a PlayStation for my little kid to keep entertained while we wait to see the DR. to the flat screen TV’s across the office. Very nice high end tech touch! Dr. Le was super nice and he actually took the time to meet with me in his personal office to great me and also answer any specific questions or concerns that I had with my teeth. All in all…I’m very satisfied and I will continue to do all of my routine cleaning and dental work at this office. I would highly recommend anyone in the area or near by to stop in and check this new dentist office out!

Andrew K. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

This seems like such a great dental group. I have had multiple dental experiences, some of which have been great and some of which have been horrible. I was able to make a same day appointment for a dental problem, and when I went in, I was seen promptly. What appeared great, was that the dentist initially took me to a office type room, and stated that he likes to get to know his patients before sitting them in the chair. This was both unique, and great with developing rapport. He was friendly, honest, and efficient. This is great for someone with a busy work schedule. I will likely continue to use this place as a regular dentist, if able. Additionally, while I was there, they have some kind of drive where if you donate items, they will take off 20% off your dental bill. I do not know the details of this, but it seems like a good cause.

Marci M. from Santee, CA (Source: Yelp)

After a very painful (i mean 2 weeks of vicodan and still being in horrible pain) gum cleaning 8 years ago in El Cajon, I have not been to the until last week.  Dr. Le and Charlene understood and assured me that this experience would be less painful . They cleaned my gums and filled a few cavities for me.  I waited with trepidation for the pain to begin once I got home.  I experienced very little to no discomfort, and none since.  I am not dreading the next gum cleaning.  The staff, the office, the exam room were all modern and not intimidating.

Jen H. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

Just had another great appointment at Kensington. They are super friendly, office is modern and clean- bright. There are no issues with parking. Receptionist and front staff was friendly and prompt. I usually go to Dr. Le but needed an appointment fast. It had been over 9 months, and they were able to get me in next day with Dr. Zhao. Dr was fantastic. She was friendly, down to earth and kept asking if I was doing okay. Make sure to ask for topical if you have any canker sores! I especially wanted to give a shoutout to Jessi. Hope I spelled her name right. She did the polishing and I don’t know how we ended up talking about life but she was so positive and such a genuine soul. She was able to focus on polishing and we shared life joys and challenges. She later gave me a huge hug which easily brought me to tears. Thank you girl, please know you are amazing! Sometimes you just meet people at the right time. Thank you Kensington for not only establishing a professional environment, quality service but also humans with huge hearts. Dr. Ronny Le, you are doing a fantastic job!

Cam G. from San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

My dentist changed offices to this new location and even though its a bit farther it is still convenient and offers great services. The staff is very friendly and professional. I was surprised they remember my patient history in great detail and made sure to check up on those items they flagged last time. The new office offers state of the art equipment and TVs for my entertainment while I open wide and say: aAAAaaaah. Big thanks to Dr. Le who always takes care of my tooth troubles and Summer who keeps my smile “So Fresh And So Clean Clean”. Also thanks to Briana with her X-ray vision powers and Resha with the welcoming attitude dealing with all my insurance red tape troubles very professionally. Great team here and they really make you feel like family! I actually look forward to my next visit!

Paul R. from Tierrasanta, San Diego, CA (Source: Yelp)

I used to be absolutely terrified of the dentist and had several bad experiences with a few different offices but when I came into Kensington Dental I got a warm feeling inside. The entire staff is so nice and friendly and makes you feel like you’re part of their family so you have nothing to worry about. Sarah up front knows her stuff and will work with you if you happen to fall on tough times, which I did and she made it work as easy as possible. The other two reasons why I love Kensington dental and feel so comfortable are the AMAZING Dr. Le & Dr. Hassan. I’ve had about $20,000-$30,000 of work done to my mouth, which was terrifying to hear, but they made it 100% seamless and made me fee like I was sitting at home on my couch while they got it done. I still have a long ways to go but I wouldn’t recommend any other doctors for the job. They are truly the best at what they do and treat you like your a normal person with normal teeth issues, even if (like me) they were far from normal. Everyone of my family members will be going there for anything they need done. Truly love these guys. Special shout out to Dr. Le……HE’S THE MAN IN EVERY WAY. Can’t wait to see you guys again soon!!

Elly C. from Auburn, MI (Source: Yelp)

They answer their phone right away. The secretary actually takes her time to double check information and calls you back. That’s the first good sign to me. Parking was a bit weird because the lot says 1 hour only, but fortunately it seems like it’s fine to stay for a while. My car was there for several hours without being towed. Their online process for filling out your medical history was easy and made the check in process super fast. I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room long at all. The assistant who did my x-rays and stuck with me most of the day had an excellent bedside manner. Always checking in to make sure I was ok, told me what to do if I was uncomfortable, and gave good instructions on how she wanted me positioned. The doctor was great. He started off with getting to know my expectations. He didn’t spout a bunch of hippy nonsense about homeopathic this or that. He didn’t try to sell me on replacing all my silver fillings if the filling is just fine. That got me to actually trust him. The overall atmosphere for the office was pretty cheery. The employees were obviously comfortable and the conversations were relaxed. Happy employees do good work and don’t panic. Overall great first impression. I’m looking forward to seeing how future visits go.

Do you cringe at the thought of going to the dentist? If you do, you seriously need to make an appointment here! Just finished my first cleaning with Charlene Yambao and Dr. Le and boy, were they amazing! My hygienist Charlene was EXTREMELY gentle while deep cleaning my gums/teeth. Numbing and getting those numbing shots IS THE biggest thing I hate/fear when going to the dentist, but Charlene’s gentle and caring touch made all my fears subside! Dr. Le and his assistant Jessica were also caring and thoughtful throughout the entire process. Dr. Le made sure I understood every procedure and knew all my options so I didnt feel like I was being pressured to do anything (which I found myself doing at the other dental offices I’ve been to). I highly recommend this place for everyone and their families, old and young!

A big thank you to Dr. Le and his staff for outstanding service. I had an appointment 3 weeks ago, I was dealing with major tooth pain and was not excited about it… I had a traumatic incident with a dentist several years ago and had not set foot in a dentist office since. I called in and spoke with a receptionist, she was very helpful and got me in the very next morning. I am on a tight budget, with a child starting grad school soon and a ten year old that plays multiple sports… and well living in beautiful San Diego is expensive!! So I came in in the defensive… afraid they would tell me I needed emergency surgery or my teeth would all fall out!! Well I came in and spoke with Dr. Le and he said lets focus on what’s going on today, I had an infected tooth unfortunately, I was given meds, my pain subsided within 24 hours…fast forward two weeks, I got my treatment, with the help of the awesome Ms. Silo my treatment is paid for without additional stress!! Also honorable mention to Dr. Dziura for keeping me laughing and distracted during treatment… if you are fearful of painful treatments the staff is very understanding!! Thanks again!

I just finished a perio maintenance cleaning appointment and encountered Theresa Gordon, one of the Dental Hygienists, for the first time. She was amazing and honestly the reason I was inspired to write this review. I’ve been dealing with periodontal disease for years, and I’ve had some good and some not-so-good dentists and hygienists. Well, Theresa just raised the bar significantly. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. I left there feeling like I had received the best periodontal maintenance ever, and I’ve had a lot. Kensington will keep me coming back, especially if Theresa is around.

First of all, I have no idea what a couple of these negative reviews are all about. I am so impressed with this dental office. I had such a positive experience since the moment I scheduled my appointment. The lady I talked to on the phone was very friendly and able to accommodate my limited availability. I was able to fill out my medical history in advanced and once I arrived for my appointment, I signed a couple documents and was called back pretty much immediately by the doctor himself. Dr. Le brought me back and got to know me and my dental history before his assistant Karina took my xrays. For the first time, I didn’t have to deal with the sharp x-rays. They use digital x-rays and she was incredibly fast at taking all of them. I have horrible teeth and gums, but Dr. Le never made me feel bad for it. He was so thorough with his exam and explained treatment very well. He recommended a deep cleaning and an onlay (for a broken tooth). I was able to get it all done in one day!!! Most of all it did not hurt!!! He and his hygienist Charlene worked together to take care of me efficiently with minimal wait time. She was really personable and gentle which made me feel at ease. I was just really happy to get it taken care of and they were able to get it done same day so I didn’t have to take more time off work. My insurance lady Jennifer was also really nice and helpful with my co-pays. Costed a little more to get my onlay done same day, but worth it to get it all done. I left a happy camper with my tooth fixed and teeth squeaky clean. My appointment was a couple weeks ago and I wanted to make sure I didn’t have any issues before writing this review. None! No pain afterwards. I would definitely recommend Kensington Dental Group to anyone looking for an overwhelmingly great experience.

Haven’t gone to the dentist in over 10 years, due to the gripping fear I have of dentists and also the rude and condescending treatment received by many dentists over the years due to affordability issues and my gripping fear re dental care. From the very first moment I stepped into this dental office, all of the staff were not only professional, but also very welcoming, caring and understanding of the fear — totally put my fears to rest instantaneously with their professional and comforting demeanor. Then I had to have major restorative dental work due to the years of being unable to afford treatment needed. I meet Dr. Ronny Le. He performed all of the work necessary and has given me an entire new life, to which I am forever grateful. His exactness and keen attention to every detail made my smile the most amazing ever — never thought it would be possible. Another GREAT service offered by this dental facility is the oral surgeon comes to their office — so you only have to go to one location and not wait endlessly for an appointment and do not have to find the other place to go to (which all of the dentists I had ever gone to I had to wait months for an appointment with an oral surgeon even with a referral, and had to go to another location. They also will have the partials/dentures delivered to you, so you don’t have to go to the lab for color exacting, et cetera. Also loved the fact that Dr. Ronny Le and his dental office participate in serving community needs (military backpack programs) and serve different countries who are less fortunate (Fiji) — shows the level of gentleness, humility and integrity of this dentist — AWESOME PERSON AND AWESOME DENTIST — VERY, VERY RARE!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Dr. Ronny Le and ALL OF YOUR STAFF for committing to such excellence in the community but also around the world and providing me with an entire new life and smile — truly truly appreciate your dedication in dentistry and good bedside manner!

What an awesome dental office! Everything about this office deserves a five-star review. The office space itself is clean and classy. The equipment seems very modern and top-of-the-line, including a dental X-ray machine that was pretty impressive. Most of all, the people were so welcoming and helpful. From the front desk administrative assistant, Cullen, to the dentist himself, Dr. Le, including his assistants Bree and Jessie, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Like most people, I do not like going to the dentist. However, I don’t think I could have been in better hands. Financially, even with good insurance, dental work can be expensive. Dr. Le’s staff goes out of their way to provide affordable options by offering various forms of payment plans. His prices are very reasonable, and well-worth every cent. Also, Dr. Le is one of the few places that accepts HMO dental insurance. For anyone who fears going to the dentist, this is a great place to entrust your dental health and well-being. I highly recommend this office and am so very grateful I found them. Thank you Kensington Dental Group! You all are amazing 🙂

This was my first time at the office and I came for my regular 6 month cleaning. At the front desk the ladies were very friendly. I didn’t have to sit around and wait for hours to get my X-rays done or see the dentist. I was taken immediately by Dr. Le who took me into his office to get to know me and what brought me into the office. I thought that was very personable comparing to the other dentists I have been to. Once I was sitting in the chair the dentist didn’t pressure me into getting anything extra done besides what he showed me with what was going on with my teeth. Everything was up to me & to do things on my own terms. All He really suggested was that I got my cavity done soon and I chose to get it done right then and there. As for anything that has to be paid out of pocket they tell you they offer financing. But, I never once felt like the office was pushy about using their financing options. They were awesome and I will be back soon for my next check up.

Like just about every other person on this planet, the dentist’s is NOT my favorite place to spend an afternoon. After an eight-year-long hiatus (mainly because I didn’t have insurance at the time, though my hatred of all things dentistry certainly played a part), I finally bit the bullet and made an appointment at Kensington Dental to get my teeth cleaned. First, they are clearly doing everything they can to dispel the “scary dentist” stereotype: most of the staff members are wearing t-shirts, and every single one of them was wearing a smile. My name is a little on the difficult side (it rhymes with “Monica”), but every single person made an effort to pronounce it correctly. For someone who has gone through life having her name constantly mispronounced, this was really nice. Their facility is also spotlessly clean with beautiful equipment. Another thing they did that I liked was they had me do a consultation first. Dr. Le sat me down in his office and talked with me about what my goals were (I elected not to say, “Be a functioning adult with regular dental appointments”), then went over a basic plan of what we could accomplish that day. After getting x-rays and pictures taken (all digital), I was taken back to a room and Dr. Le took a look at my teeth. At one point, he asked me, “How would you say your flossing habits are?” Now, this is normally the point in any visit to the dentist when the flossing-shaming happens, but not with Dr. Le. I said, “I think you already know the answer to that one.” He laughed, impressed upon me that it was important, and moved on. I have been on the receiving end of some pretty harsh dental shaming, so walking out of there NOT feeling like an inept monster because of my lack of flossing habits was a plus (though, admittedly, I really should be flossing). Speaking of flossing, the dental hygienist, Kelly, was a complete sweetheart as well. Kelly only works on Fridays, while Charlene works the other five days. Anyway, Kelly took my TERRIBLE jokes (my coping mechanism) in stride and answered all of my questions kindly and honestly. I’m also a complete baby when I get my teeth worked on, so Kelly’s demeanor of complete calm was very soothing. When I asked her why she decided on dentistry, she said she liked working with patients, and I believed her. What a doll. All in all, very glad Kensington Dental is in my neighborhood (and within walking distance). I won’t say I’m looking forward to my next dentist appointment, but I am definitely not as anti-dentist as I was before.
