I used to be absolutely terrified of the dentist and had several bad experiences with a few different offices but when I came into Kensington Dental I got a warm feeling inside. The entire staff is so nice and friendly and makes you feel like you’re part of their family so you have nothing to worry about. Sarah up front knows her stuff and will work with you if you happen to fall on tough times, which I did and she made it work as easy as possible. The other two reasons why I love Kensington dental and feel so comfortable are the AMAZING Dr. Le & Dr. Hassan. I’ve had about $20,000-$30,000 of work done to my mouth, which was terrifying to hear, but they made it 100% seamless and made me fee like I was sitting at home on my couch while they got it done. I still have a long ways to go but I wouldn’t recommend any other doctors for the job. They are truly the best at what they do and treat you like your a normal person with normal teeth issues, even if (like me) they were far from normal. Everyone of my family members will be going there for anything they need done. Truly love these guys. Special shout out to Dr. Le……HE’S THE MAN IN EVERY WAY. Can’t wait to see you guys again soon!!

They answer their phone right away. The secretary actually takes her time to double check information and calls you back. That’s the first good sign to me. Parking was a bit weird because the lot says 1 hour only, but fortunately it seems like it’s fine to stay for a while. My car was there for several hours without being towed. Their online process for filling out your medical history was easy and made the check in process super fast. I didn’t have to wait in the waiting room long at all. The assistant who did my x-rays and stuck with me most of the day had an excellent bedside manner. Always checking in to make sure I was ok, told me what to do if I was uncomfortable, and gave good instructions on how she wanted me positioned. The doctor was great. He started off with getting to know my expectations. He didn’t spout a bunch of hippy nonsense about homeopathic this or that. He didn’t try to sell me on replacing all my silver fillings if the filling is just fine. That got me to actually trust him. The overall atmosphere for the office was pretty cheery. The employees were obviously comfortable and the conversations were relaxed. Happy employees do good work and don’t panic. Overall great first impression. I’m looking forward to seeing how future visits go.

Do you cringe at the thought of going to the dentist? If you do, you seriously need to make an appointment here! Just finished my first cleaning with Charlene Yambao and Dr. Le and boy, were they amazing! My hygienist Charlene was EXTREMELY gentle while deep cleaning my gums/teeth. Numbing and getting those numbing shots IS THE biggest thing I hate/fear when going to the dentist, but Charlene’s gentle and caring touch made all my fears subside! Dr. Le and his assistant Jessica were also caring and thoughtful throughout the entire process. Dr. Le made sure I understood every procedure and knew all my options so I didnt feel like I was being pressured to do anything (which I found myself doing at the other dental offices I’ve been to). I highly recommend this place for everyone and their families, old and young!

A big thank you to Dr. Le and his staff for outstanding service. I had an appointment 3 weeks ago, I was dealing with major tooth pain and was not excited about it… I had a traumatic incident with a dentist several years ago and had not set foot in a dentist office since. I called in and spoke with a receptionist, she was very helpful and got me in the very next morning. I am on a tight budget, with a child starting grad school soon and a ten year old that plays multiple sports… and well living in beautiful San Diego is expensive!! So I came in in the defensive… afraid they would tell me I needed emergency surgery or my teeth would all fall out!! Well I came in and spoke with Dr. Le and he said lets focus on what’s going on today, I had an infected tooth unfortunately, I was given meds, my pain subsided within 24 hours…fast forward two weeks, I got my treatment, with the help of the awesome Ms. Silo my treatment is paid for without additional stress!! Also honorable mention to Dr. Dziura for keeping me laughing and distracted during treatment… if you are fearful of painful treatments the staff is very understanding!! Thanks again!

I just finished a perio maintenance cleaning appointment and encountered Theresa Gordon, one of the Dental Hygienists, for the first time. She was amazing and honestly the reason I was inspired to write this review. I’ve been dealing with periodontal disease for years, and I’ve had some good and some not-so-good dentists and hygienists. Well, Theresa just raised the bar significantly. She was thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. I left there feeling like I had received the best periodontal maintenance ever, and I’ve had a lot. Kensington will keep me coming back, especially if Theresa is around.

First of all, I have no idea what a couple of these negative reviews are all about. I am so impressed with this dental office. I had such a positive experience since the moment I scheduled my appointment. The lady I talked to on the phone was very friendly and able to accommodate my limited availability. I was able to fill out my medical history in advanced and once I arrived for my appointment, I signed a couple documents and was called back pretty much immediately by the doctor himself. Dr. Le brought me back and got to know me and my dental history before his assistant Karina took my xrays. For the first time, I didn’t have to deal with the sharp x-rays. They use digital x-rays and she was incredibly fast at taking all of them. I have horrible teeth and gums, but Dr. Le never made me feel bad for it. He was so thorough with his exam and explained treatment very well. He recommended a deep cleaning and an onlay (for a broken tooth). I was able to get it all done in one day!!! Most of all it did not hurt!!! He and his hygienist Charlene worked together to take care of me efficiently with minimal wait time. She was really personable and gentle which made me feel at ease. I was just really happy to get it taken care of and they were able to get it done same day so I didn’t have to take more time off work. My insurance lady Jennifer was also really nice and helpful with my co-pays. Costed a little more to get my onlay done same day, but worth it to get it all done. I left a happy camper with my tooth fixed and teeth squeaky clean. My appointment was a couple weeks ago and I wanted to make sure I didn’t have any issues before writing this review. None! No pain afterwards. I would definitely recommend Kensington Dental Group to anyone looking for an overwhelmingly great experience.

Haven’t gone to the dentist in over 10 years, due to the gripping fear I have of dentists and also the rude and condescending treatment received by many dentists over the years due to affordability issues and my gripping fear re dental care. From the very first moment I stepped into this dental office, all of the staff were not only professional, but also very welcoming, caring and understanding of the fear — totally put my fears to rest instantaneously with their professional and comforting demeanor. Then I had to have major restorative dental work due to the years of being unable to afford treatment needed. I meet Dr. Ronny Le. He performed all of the work necessary and has given me an entire new life, to which I am forever grateful. His exactness and keen attention to every detail made my smile the most amazing ever — never thought it would be possible. Another GREAT service offered by this dental facility is the oral surgeon comes to their office — so you only have to go to one location and not wait endlessly for an appointment and do not have to find the other place to go to (which all of the dentists I had ever gone to I had to wait months for an appointment with an oral surgeon even with a referral, and had to go to another location. They also will have the partials/dentures delivered to you, so you don’t have to go to the lab for color exacting, et cetera. Also loved the fact that Dr. Ronny Le and his dental office participate in serving community needs (military backpack programs) and serve different countries who are less fortunate (Fiji) — shows the level of gentleness, humility and integrity of this dentist — AWESOME PERSON AND AWESOME DENTIST — VERY, VERY RARE!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Dr. Ronny Le and ALL OF YOUR STAFF for committing to such excellence in the community but also around the world and providing me with an entire new life and smile — truly truly appreciate your dedication in dentistry and good bedside manner!

What an awesome dental office! Everything about this office deserves a five-star review. The office space itself is clean and classy. The equipment seems very modern and top-of-the-line, including a dental X-ray machine that was pretty impressive. Most of all, the people were so welcoming and helpful. From the front desk administrative assistant, Cullen, to the dentist himself, Dr. Le, including his assistants Bree and Jessie, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Like most people, I do not like going to the dentist. However, I don’t think I could have been in better hands. Financially, even with good insurance, dental work can be expensive. Dr. Le’s staff goes out of their way to provide affordable options by offering various forms of payment plans. His prices are very reasonable, and well-worth every cent. Also, Dr. Le is one of the few places that accepts HMO dental insurance. For anyone who fears going to the dentist, this is a great place to entrust your dental health and well-being. I highly recommend this office and am so very grateful I found them. Thank you Kensington Dental Group! You all are amazing 🙂

This was my first time at the office and I came for my regular 6 month cleaning. At the front desk the ladies were very friendly. I didn’t have to sit around and wait for hours to get my X-rays done or see the dentist. I was taken immediately by Dr. Le who took me into his office to get to know me and what brought me into the office. I thought that was very personable comparing to the other dentists I have been to. Once I was sitting in the chair the dentist didn’t pressure me into getting anything extra done besides what he showed me with what was going on with my teeth. Everything was up to me & to do things on my own terms. All He really suggested was that I got my cavity done soon and I chose to get it done right then and there. As for anything that has to be paid out of pocket they tell you they offer financing. But, I never once felt like the office was pushy about using their financing options. They were awesome and I will be back soon for my next check up.
