For more than 10 years (I’m 24 years old now) I have been extremely self conscious of my smile and how my teeth look. Every time I would laugh I would cover my mouth without even thinking. When I was 18, my wonderful father offered to look into possibly getting some sort of cosmetic work done for me as he knew how much this bothered me and affected my overall confidence. Over the last 5-6 years, I have been to dozens of consultations with different dentists (including having an appointment to start the procedure and then cancelling the day before because I had a horrible feeling about the dentist). Dr. Kernagis was the LAST consultation that I ever had, and for good reason. On the first visit, Dr. K took the time to take x rays and pictures from all different angles and explain to me in detail the options that I had. He was so nice and patient and willing to answer all of my questions. We then set up another visit where he used the pictures from the previous visit to digitally show me what the teeth could potentially look like after Invisalign and veneers. He even took into consideration how the veneers will affect my bite, something that no other dentist I spoke to even thought about (both of these visits were completely free, by the way). I explained to him that my father would be paying for this and he does not live close by so I’m going to have to call him and put him on speaker phone to explain everything. Both Dr. K and Lei the office manager were extremely patient with both me and my fathers questions, they were willing to speak with him on the phone and work with him. I’ve done A LOT of research on veneers and the pricing of veneers and yes, the price was on the higher range but definitely not out of the ordinary. Not to mention, when it comes to something as important as your teeth and your smile, I would rather pay a little more for the highest quality. The entire process was so smooth and stress-free. The entire kernagis team is absolutely amazing! I had a time crunch and desperately wanted to have this done before my sisters wedding and the women at the front desk, Lei and Lori were incredible with working me into the schedule no matter what. The entire experience was amazing and Dr. K is truly an artist! I could not be happier with the results. I cannot express how this has forever changed my life. My smile is now so much bigger and brighter! I am now so confident every time I smile and I can’t count how many compliments I have received! Thank you so much to Dr. K and his team, I am forever grateful!!

I highly recommend Dr. Kernagis and his entire staff. I’ve come into the office for cleanings and recently had a dental emergency after a freak accident. Dr. K was able to completely reconstruct two teeth I damaged during the accident. The staff was responsive to my every need. After suffering the dental trauma I didn’t think I would ever be able to smile again but 24 hours later I’m back to normal like nothing happened. Thank you Dr. K and everyone involved for making this happen for me.

Today was an great day! Thanks to South Shore Dental, Dr. Lagos, and Team! After spending three years and crooked crown from a former dental office…… I now have a reason to smile! Almost in tears when I was able to look in the mirror….. So very happy. Professional, caring, perfection are just a few of the words I would use to describe my new dental family. This office is great, and super accommodating. My specific experience was for a Zoom whitening procedure, and I am super happy with the results. I have bleached my teeth before and can easily say this has been the best experience. My procedure & final work was fantastic. Renee completed my work, and did a fabulous job. Strong attention to detail, very considerate and concerned about my level of comfort, and overall provided a super high-level of care. She explained the procedure in detail and was very communicative through every step. I felt that while the front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly, they were also very efficient and respectful of my time. This first time I visited this office it was for an emergency, and I felt like they were just as dedicated to a high level of care for a scheduled appointment. I would highly recommend this Dr. & office.

Love Kernagis dental! Have used them for years, so long that my son who was a kid now has his own family! They are great and help to coordinate an appointment that works for my daughter when in town. In advance of course. I’ve had crowns and cleanings done. Can’t say enough good things about them!

I have been a patient for many years. Never have I had to wait for my appointment, the help is absolutely fabulous. I drive almost l00 miles to and from their office and as long as I am able to drive will continue to use their services. You do know, that I have a choice of many dentists in Dade City, and I just refuse to go to any of them, I think this covers it all. Best Regards, Marie Esche
