I have never experienced such fantastic dental care as I have at Dr. Vetter’s office. It feels like I’m having a spa day when I’m there for my teeth cleaning and exam. A massage chair and essential oils are just part of the special treatment. They are incredibly caring and very thorough in their practice, I can’t say enough about them. Dr. Vetter is amazing…your first visit with her is approx. 2 hours long. She takes any necessary X-Rays (if you have current X-Rays from your previous Dentist, she will request the X-Rays to be emailed to us)
She then does a very comprehensive oral exam, and between the X-Rays and very thorough exam she will form her clinical diagnosis, explaining everything as she goes along.
Then the best part, she does a very and detailed cleaning of your teeth (she was a hygienist first and then attended USC for her doctorate in Dentistry. She will explain her findings and give you options for treatment- NO upselling and no pressure to accept her treatment plan. If you decide to do nothing, she just explains the consequences of non- treatment or explains different options. When I left her office I felt like that dental visit was the most complete dental visit I had ever had in my life!!
If you want honesty and excellence, please go see Dr. Vetter-you won’t regret it!!

Kristy Vetter, DDS recently did some work on my 72 year old mother at the Runnymede location. While my mother is a senior, she is definitely independent and headstrong! She mentioned that Dr. Vetter has a great rapport with her patients, and the way she spoke to my mom was as if she had known her for years. The treatment my mom received didn’t go as smoothly as was hoped (tooth pulled, new bridge needed), but the staff at Runnymede were quick to attend to her needs. We understand that sometimes thing do not go as perfectly as planned, but the Runnymede staff were pleasant and diligent in taking care of her. In the end my mom is very pleased with the work done, complications and all!

They all go above and beyond to make sure your comfortable and getting the best care possible. I have been to many dentist since my mother started taking me every 6 months at age 5. Recently, in the OC area, i was frequenting a dentist that was very inferior. I finally listened to a friend’s recommendation and went to Dr. Vetter. She was AWESOME. She takes great care. She is so friendly and truly services her patients as friends. I would give her a 10+. Her work is excellent and she explains everything to your satisfaction. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

I have never done a yelp review before I met Dr. Vetter. After working in the dental industry for 30 years, I have finally found my home. My first crown was done by Dr Vetter on the tooth that has been bothering me for 3 years. It is now my favorite tooth. I’ve always been dentist phobic. Consequently it’s been over 20 yrs since I had a dental check up & teeth cleaning. I saw two dentist prior to finding Dr. Kristy Vetter which wasn’t a good experience as I felt that my fears were annoying. Therefore, I saw Dr. Kristy and although I wasn’t on board with having deep teeth cleaning I went ahead and had it done. Dr. Kristy’s approach approach alleviated (most of my anxiety) by taking the time in answering my questions, being gentle and letting me know ahead of time what she was going to do. So, I feel incredibly fortunate to have an excellent, compassionate, dentist with a great professional and friendly staff. I highly recommend Dr. Kristy.

Dr. Vetter has been my family’s dentist for 10 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m a big chicken when it comes to dental work – I just have a sensitive mouth and gums. But Irene, one of the hygienists in the office, does an outstanding job. She’s very thorough but gentle. Dr. Vetter is terrific – she always gives advice about what should be taken care of right away and what can be watched for a while. There is never any sales pressure. You can tell she has the best interest of your teeth in mind – nothing more. I hate getting shots, but she has a way of doing it where I barely feel it – and I feel everything when it comes to my gums. I almost don’t even think about it anymore when I know an appointment is coming up that requires a numbing shot (almost…). But thanks to regular visits that doesn’t happen very often. Dr. Vetter is a great dentist and runs a great office. She and her staff are simply outstanding.

Several years ago, I began looking for a new dentist. I was frustrated with “Brand X” dental clinics – the ones where you get a new associate every time you visit. I knew a local Endodontist, and asked for a referral. Without hesitation, he strongly recommended Dr. Vetter. I have been her patient for two years and have been impressed with every aspect of the practice. Starting with the highly knowledgeable office manager, Loann, every employee is top notch. The hygienists are meticulous and take time to ensure thorough cleanings. All of the employees have been with the practice for years, and the camaraderie is obvious. Dr. Vetter herself started as a Dental Hygienist and takes a holistic approach to dental care. She and the other employees are actively involved in local study groups with other dentists and are up on the latest techniques. Recently, I brought my elderly mother for a consult. Dr. Vetter’s staff helped her with a new set of dentures, and have worked tirelessly to make sure they fit perfectly. Everyone is kind and they go out of their way to accommodate patients in urgent situations. In dentistry, like other services, you get what you pay for. Dr. Vetter uses the highest quality dental supplies to ensure a safe experience and the finest result. I feel very lucky to be a patient in her practice and would recommend Dr. Vetter without hesitation.

Dr. Kristy Vetter is amazing! My family started seeing her about 6 months ago. I was blown away by how thorough she was with each and every one of us. The diagnostic tools that she uses were never even offered to us at our old dentist’s office! We were presented with treatment plans and given the opportunity to decide what dental work to pursue and what to delay. She was able to solve problems that had been ongoing for many years. I was particularly impressed that even on the day that I had a lot of dental work done, that I was not even in pain that afternoon. I started seeing Dr. Vetter about four years ago after my dentist moved. I’ve gone to the dentist consistently for most of my life so thankfully I have very few dental issues. That being said, as I get older, there have been some things that have needed to be addressed. Dr. Vetter does an excellent job explaining what’s going on and different ways to address any issues. Also, I’ve never been to an office where the hygienist is so involved. Prior to going to Dr. Vetter’s office, I would have my exam and talk with the dentist and then the hygienist would come in and do the cleaning – very rarely having any type of in-depth conversation. That’s completely different with this office. Even as an adult I have learned so much about different ways of brushing, flossing and overall dental care. My goal is to have my original teeth forever and I feel that I’m getting the best care to reach that goal. From Dr. Vetter, the hygienists to the front office staff, they’ve all been great. So much so that I drive out of my way to go every six months.

A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Kristy Vetter has been providing dentistry to the community since 1996. She graduated in the top 10% of her class from the University of Southern California (USC) and practiced in Cypress for four years before coming to south county. She started her own practice in 2004. She completed POS orthodontic training in 2002 and both Invisalign Certifications in 2008 and 2010. Dr. Vetter finished her mini sleep residency at UCLA in June of 2016. She has provided dentistry to the Santa Maria and Pasadena communities through the USC Mobile clinic, and has been involved in Dentistry from the Heart. She also offered complimentary dental care to the women and children of Kathy's House from 2004-2014 when they closed their doors. She has a boutique practice in Laguna Niguel where individualized care and quality dentistry are her top priorities.
