I’ve been coming to La Verne Dental for several years now. Dr. Ishka is very careful to make sure you have as little discomfort as possible. She really goes all out to make sure the experience is pain-free. I love the same day crowns too! I never have had to get a temporary since I began coming here. That was such a hassle at other dentists. It also allows them to make it a perfect fit. They just remake them right then and there if needed. The office staff are great too. All so helpful and they give great attention to being clean about their work. That’s great because so many offices don’t show such great care about protecting their patient’s health with clean equipment and shields.

Best dental experience ever! All the staff is welcoming, friendly and very professional. The dentist makes me very nervous, but hygienist Karla kept me calm. She was friendly, gentle and patient. Dr. Iskaq, Dr. Acevedo, also contributed to my wonderful experience at La Verne Dental Group, especially Dr. Yashar. Because of the wonderful staff and their services, my visits to the dentist no longer make me nervous

My experience at La Verne Dental Group was nothing short of excellent. Prior to my visit, I’ve had a lot of dental work done: root canal’s, teeth/molar extractions, pallet expansions and braces. After breaking my front tooth a few years ago and not being satisfied with previous work done by another dentist(my front tooth ended up darkening after they said it wouldn’t) I thought I would give this dental office a try based off of a friends recommendation. I expected nothing but another subpar office with terrible service. To my surprise, that is not what I encountered. From the moment I entered the office, I was greeted by April and the rest of the friendly and welcoming staff and promptly taken into a waiting room by Karla, my dental hygienist who was so helpful and informative throughout the whole process, who also did my X-rays. During my X-rays, the hygienist made an observation and informed the doctor who then pointed out that I had additional trauma to the nerve of the adjoining front tooth that was sure to cause me problems in the future, something my previous dentist had missed. After my exam, Dr. Iskaq told me I would need a root canal that could be done the same morning and then crowns would be placed. After all the dental work I’d had done before, I knew a root canal would be a piece of cake but I definitely did not expect it to be that pleasant. The specialist that did the root canal worked quick and anesthetized my gums(local anestesia) so well that I almost fell asleep in the chair. Impressions were made for my permanent crowns and my temporary ones were placed. My second experience here was when my temporary crowns fell off from brushing with a Sonicare brush(big no no!) I showed up without an appointment and was promptly taken in, a new crown was placed and I was out the door in 30 mins. After a few weeks, I went back for my cleaning with Karla (who was oh so gentle) and to have my permanent crowns placed. Diana did the final fitting and was so helpful and intent that I was completely satisfied with the final product and fit before placing them. After about two weeks with my new and improved smile, I have never felt happier with my smile than I do now! Thank you to Dr. Iskaq, Karla, Diana, April and everyone else that had a hand in making my smile so much better. Words can not describe how thankful I am to you all!

I have to wonder if the folks who seem to be having a bad experience are actually going to the same place. I have searched a long time for a dentist that I felt comfortable at, and I often avoiding going because my experiences were always so horrible. That is until I found La Verne Dental Group. They are always friendly and welcoming, especially Cherie and Jeanette, they seem to really care about how you are doing and actually listen. Dr Iskaq has always been amazing and cleanings with Shannon, comparatively speaking, an absolute pleasure. Because of neglecting my teeth for so long it had been a worrisome road to improvement and they have been there every step of the way. They always gave me reassurances and helped me understand the procedures and what I needed to do to have a healthy mouth. I have had several procedures, cavities, a root canal and a bone replacement surgery due to advanced periodontitis. All of which were nearly painless. I have never experienced dental procedures that I didn’t sweat through until them. Love and appreciate everything they have done!

Amazing! At a time when there is so much uncertainty in our country’s health, I can trust and count on La Verne Dental Group Doctors & Staff to provide amazing & excellent care that bring comfort & security to my dental health needs! Also, the staff & doctors show appreciation & care for all patients; very personable and kind! My wife and I are so grateful for La Verne Dental Group! For starters, the office staff was extremely welcoming, kind and professional! Especially Ashley, she greeted us with a smile and made me feel very comfortable before having my four wisdom teeth extracted. It is important to note that I am terrified of anything dental related….But this office and the staff made it a very pleasant experience from start to finish. The procedure began ahead of schedule and was completed really fast. It has now been a few days and I have experienced very little pain/ discomfort and have had minimal swelling. Also, the surgeon himself called me the day after surgery to ask how I was feeling and offered healing tips and advice. Overall great experience!

By far, the best dental visit experience I’ve ever had. Getting dental work done is never going to be a good time, but at least here you’re treated like a person, not a problem or a wallet on legs. I know some of the reviews here complain about upsell, but that wasn’t my experience at all. I felt that Dr. Iskaq really was concerned for my dental health, as well as for my comfort during the procedure. I’d recommend this office to anyone.

I am very pleased with the service here. I’ve been to this office twice in the last 2 weeks; once for cleaning and x-rays, and the other for my wisdom teeth extractions. Everyone you encounter in this office is kind and welcoming, from the receptionists, to the hygienists and dentists. My hygienist Karla Lopez is awesome and is very gentle while working (I have sensitivity) and Dr. Iskaq is very professional and patient for all questions and concerns. As for my extractions, Dr. Hou did great! I only asked for local anesthetic and felt fine during and after the procedure. They have a great team!

So I called La Verne Dental for an appointment today and they were booked solid. Shortly after my phone call I received a message saying they had an opening for me, so I took the appointment. As I arrived I noticed the office had been renovated, everything was very nice and very clean. I was helped right away. I meet the Manager, The Office Staff, The Dentist, The Technician and The Hygienist; everybody was very professional and friendly. I was in-n-out, with no problems and no complaints, Thanks again La Verne Dental see you in six months, maybe, if I need it.

I was there last month and this week to see the Endodontist and next week to finish up.  I’m so happy to be going to a dentist that uses modern dentistry.  It’s nice to know it’s not the stuff they were using on me in the 70’s and 80’s.  When they are using modern tech and skills, I feel like my dentist is top of the line, and has a current education (even if they are old, and have just been keeping up with the trend).  I love it.  And it’s less painful and takes less time than ever before.  Top notch!
