I have been going here for several years now and I always feel very comfortable and welcomed when I have an appointment. Dr. Kalmanovich and his team are kind and professional. I have had to get a crown and a bridge, they worked with me on the process, from recommending the most important. I get regular cleanings and she always does a great job and is really friendly! I have never had any issues with my crown or my bridge, Dr. Kalmanovich is very skilled in his work and I would highly recommend him and his team!

Dr. Kalmanovich and his team are great. Cristina the hygienist is thorough and very gentle on the teeth.  I am normally squeamish about cleanings but she really does a wonderful job at cleaning carefully without discomfort.

Dr K is also amazing.  He has insight and provides sound diagnosis and is not eager to sell services.  He takes a very measured approach towards treatment, which made me feel like a patient not a potential dollar sign.  I never felt rushed out the door or that I asked too many questions.    He explains issues that arise very well and has gained my confidence.

I cannot say enough good things about this office. They really go above and beyond to make sure their patients are taken care of. From the front to the back, it was a pleasant experience. The Dr is well versed in sleep apnea (which my husband needs for his snoring!) and has state of the art technology. The hygienist is kind and gentle. The assistants are personable and fun. The whole office is amazing! Very impressed and will be a life time patient!

I just started coming to Dr. Kalmanovich’s office and I already love it. The whole staff is friendly and very welcoming! I’ve had a cleaning and a root canal so far. They did a great job at both 🙂
Alex created my crown right in front of me at the office on a computer and it was pretty cool to watch because I’ve never seen that… and it was ready pretty much right when he finished creating it.
I’d recommend him to anyone who’s trying to find an honest and trusting dentist!!

Dr Kalmanovich came highly recommended from a friend that works in a business where he has access to a number of dr and dentists and their background. That was the initial reason I called and made the appt.

I continue to see him and his entire office because of their superior dental work and highly organized and quick responding front desk. It’s easy to put off the dentist… and yet you wear your smile everyday so it’s important to take care of your teeth. I’ve had consistently GREAT experiences every-time I visit.

Dr. K and his staff (Gina, Tatiana, and Christina) are amazing! They are so friendly and make me feel very comfortable every time I’m there. They also build a relationship with you and have a family approach which is very different than any dentist I’ve ever been too. I absolutely hate getting shots and Dr. K does such an amazing job that I didn’t even feel the shots one bit! He is also very informative and makes sure you understand exactly what’s going to be done or what may need to be done in the future. Thumbs up to all of you at Laguna Family Dentistry! Dr. Kalmanovich is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going to him for four years now and he is always genuinely friendly and does not make the dental process seem intimidating at all. He is very knowledgeable about new cutting-edge technologies which is quite impressive. He is able to make fillings or crowns right there on the spot so you don’t have to come back to the office afterwards which is very convenient! Also, he does not try to perform unnecessary procedures. I came in with a painful toothache which might have needed a crown but instead he thought that a deep filling would work and after a few years of having it I have no pain and no additional procedures were required.
I feel lucky to have found Dr. Kalmanovich and his staff. Gina at the front desk is always so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to my schedule and I love seeing Stephanie the dental hygienist. She does a very thorough cleaning and explains the cleaning process well.
I no longer mind going to the dentist and highly recommend Dr. Kalmanovich!

Had my teeth whitened at Laguna Family Dentistry and could not be happier with my experience. From my first visit, the entire team I interacted with were all kind, friendly and knowledgeable. My teeth are now white and look better than ever, thanks Dr. Alex!

I was new to Laguna Beach and was looking for a really good dentist. I’ll be totally honest, I needed a lot of work done.  My first appointment was great. Dr. Kalmanovich was very personal, professional and engaging. He was detailed oriented and quite specific on what I needed to do in order to achieve my dental goals.  He listened and gave me various options, all the while, taking into consideration my dental health as well as my cosmetic goals. So far I am extremely happy with what work has been done, and look forward to achieving the dental plan we’ve designed to be completed. If anyone is looking for a really good dentist, please give Dr. Kalmanovich a call.

Probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Thorough. Very friendly. Efficient with their time. I was in for just a routine cleaning and x-rays, but from the beginning at the front desk to finishing, everyone was Top Notch. I would absolutely recommend them. In fact I did that same day as my cleaning.

Dr. Kalmanovich has been my dentist for several years now and I would definitely rate him five stars for his professionalism, quality of work, pleasant and easy manner, as well as a professional and congenial staff.  I recently had a crown replaced, and the whole procedure was done in one office visit, because he made the crown right on the spot.  Easy breezy!  Not many dentists do this.  He makes seeing the dentist (almost) a pleasure!

Was a bit worried choosing a new dentist but when I walked in, Gina at the front gave me a very welcoming smile and knew who I was since I had scheduled an appointment. I got text and email reminders about my appointment so that was very helpful. The office is very clean, modern, and up to date with technology! Dr. Kalmanovich really took his time with me and didn’t just rush to the next patient. I had 1 cavity that he even showed me with a tiny camera on the monitor! He and the staff were amazing, loved the visit. I’m glad I found a new dentist that I can trust with my teeth and my family will be coming shortly as well.

I use to hate to come to the dentist because of bad experiences with other dentist but as crazy as it sounds, I look forward to my appointments now. I would recommend anyone looking for a great dentist to come here. 🙂

As a person who generally gets anxious having dental work (due to a long history of braces, oral surgery, etc) I was pleasantly surprised by Dr. K’s office, staff, technique and overall experience. He uses the latest technology, is very thorough and his whole hygienist staff is fantastic. Hoping to stick around in the area so I can make this my go to office!

Wonderful experience. I visited Dr. Kalmanovich for the first time, thanks to a friend’s recommendation. The office itself is incredibly charming.  The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly, as were the rest of the staff.  Dr. Alex was incredibly thorough and professional. He really took the time and went over all aspect of my dental care. A rare thing these days. Would definitely recommend to other.

Dr. Kalmanovich is amazing! I took my 1 year old son there for his first check up and cleaning and Dr K. was so patient, kind, sweet and gentle with my son. He explained everything to me before he did anything. The first visit wasn’t much, more so to get my son comfortable with the new environment and the staff and my son was a bit shy and nervous understandably but I think he did warm up to Dr. K and the staff by the end. The staff was wonderful and let my son hold the cleaning tool himself and allowed him to put it in his mouth on his own. So he did get a bit of cleaning his first visit, you really can’t get much better than that. Gina, the office manager was such a sweet heart. So friendly and easy to talk to and really cared about my son’s comfort level. Over all I think my son had a great first dental visit experience and this will provide the foundation he needs to keep up his dental health care as he grows up and not “hate” the dentist. I LOVE this place, it’s cute, quaint, nicely decorated with such an awesome staff. I’d recommend Dr. K to anyone and everyone! Can’t wait to go back for my own appointment next month!

Dr. Kalmanovich was recommended to me by a few friends, and I’m very grateful for their recommendation. He and his staff are so nice! I was extremely nervous for my first visit as I hadn’t seen a dentist in over a decade (yes, really) and felt very embarrassed by my teeth. Everyone in the office was so incredibly friendly and reassuring that I quickly felt at ease. I’ve since gone back for a crown, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. He even called me a few hours after to make sure I was feeling okay! If you’re putting off seeing a dentist out of embarrassment, fear, etc., go see Dr. Kalmanovich and his awesome staff. You really won’t regret it!

Dr. Alex Kalmanovich is a wonderful doctor with a very kind demeanor and great bedside manners. The entire staff is super friendly and they make you feel welcomed every time. Super clean office as well (I should know, since I do OSHA compliance for a living). I will highly recommend this office to friends and family.
