I have been going to (partner dentist) and Dr Shunk’s office since I was a little girl! Dr Shunk was so good at giving me shots when I was little that I always told my friends That MY DENTIST NEVER HAS TO GIVE ME A SHOT IF I HAVE A CAVITY!!! I love Dr Shunk he makes it so comfortable seeing him and Myrna the back office assistant I swear she has been there as long as the doctors have… MOE office manager she makes it so much fun to come to the dentist sometimes I just swing by to say hello!!! I highly recommend this office!!!

Dr. Shunk and his tram are absolutely wonderful with kids. It is a very comfortable environment and makes a visit to the dentist less scary for younger children. He has been our dentist for 5 years and we have always received excellent care.

Dr. Shunk is the best dentist I have ever been to. I have anxiety about going to the dentist and Dr. Shunk and his staff have helped me get over that. They are very understanding of the anxiety and made me feel very comfortable.
I just had a root canal done, which was my worst fear because of what friends have told me about their experiences. It was nothing compared to what I’ve heard. I realize my friends have been going to the wrong dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Shunk.

What an amazing dental practice and staff. Dr. Shunk was very attentive, took his time and made me feel so comfortable with my procedure, as did Myrna his assistant. Oscar the hygienist did an excellent cleaning and was very gentle(…). The front of the office is super friendly and on top of it, too. Monique made me feel right at home as soon as I came through the door. I highly recommend this office for all dental needs.

These two Dentist are caring and are the best at what they do. You could get  no better then them. There staff are top in helping you. They are caring and help with everything. I’m old and have bad teeth. They take care of me and my family. We would not go to anyone else. The Hygienist , The Receptionist and great looking young lady are so friendly and caring and knowledgeable. I could say they are the best.

I originally saw Dr. Shunk in Upland and when we recently moved I found out they have an office close to my new home in Laguna Niguel.
The staff is always extremely nice and professional and make coming to the dentist a breeze.
It’s nice to have a place where you can go and feel comfortable. Love this office and their staff!

Laguna Niguel Cosmetic & Family Dentistry is awesome! (Partner doctor) and Shunk are the best dentists I have been to. The doctors, hygienists, and staff are caring and put the patient’s needs first.

Friendly and helpful office staff. Dr Petite is great, she came in after hours to fix my daughters broken front tooth. We love this office and highly recommend them.

Always a great experience. The friendliest staff that always have the biggest smiles. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

If you have issues visiting the dentist, you won’t after a visit to the office of (partner dentist) and Dr. Shunk. Thanks to Dr. Shunk I no longer fear going to have my teeth taken care of. I have had a root canal, a crown and a few fillings replaced without any discomfort or pain. Everyone in the office is just so nice. Moe is amazing with the paperwork and a pro with insurance.  I have no intention of going anywhere else and will continue to recommend them to family, friends and coworkers.

My teeth have never been so clean! I’ve never had such a thorough cleaning as Oscar did at my last visit! I didn’t want to eat so my teeth wouldn’t get dirty. Dr. Shunk is very nice with great bedside manner. He is gentle and did a great job on the fillings I needed replaced. I would recommend Laguna Niguel Cosmetic Dentist everyday of the week!

Fantastic team! I typically do not like to go to the dentist for ANY reason. This group NEVER hurts me, and always looks after my comfort. Professional and skilled, I highly recommend this dental group and team.

I absolutely love this place! Been coming here for years after watching how amazing they were with my grandmother. Dr Shunk is so patient and gentle. The staff are amazing and always happy, I can tell they love their jobs. They referred me to an evenly great orthodontic office for my sons wisdom teeth removal. My cleanings are painless and thorough. They work with my crazy schedule to fit me in at every 6 months consistently. My son had cavities filled and didn’t feel a thing. After previous bad experiences with dentists and dental offices I am forever a patient of Dr Shunk’s(…).

(Partner doctor) and Shunk are AWESOME! They’re patient, caring, and accommodating. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is polite, and a pleasure to deal with.

We’re so fortunate to FINALLY find a great dentist. Dr. Shunk is very talented. He has been so great with his honest recommendations and not quick to jump to costly services if they can be avoided.  My wife suffers from anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist but Dr Shunk has been wonderful at helping her feel relaxed and comfortable. His decades of experience and confidence is very reassuring.

The entire staff is wonderful at making you feel relaxed and appreciated.  MO the office manager at the front desk is so terrific.  She’s friendly and funny and so completely competent. MO handles the scheduling of services and more importantly all billing concerns. She really knows how to work with the insurance companies and help you maximize your dollar.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to come in and meet this great family friendly team.  You won’t be disappointed.

They have provided routine care and emergency appointments (even on the weekends) Their staff care & treat you like family and work magic with their amazing technique for insurance billing and affordable payment arrangements. Incredible and family oriented practice where they really focus on you as a patient and genuinely seem to care. Everyone that works there is amazing and they all work to make you feel at home and at ease. Dr. Shunk has amazingly gentle hands and has been my dentist for years.

Both (partner dentist) and Dr. Shunk are extremely skilled, I have never had any pain or discomfort during a procedure. What sets (partner dentist) and Dr. Shunk apart from others is their genuine compassion for their patients, I truly feel I am being cared for. I recommend them to anyone seeking professional dental work in a friendly environment

(…)Dr. Shunk is SO patient and attentive to my numbing issues – this last appointment I think it took an hour and 15 minutes before they could start any actual work! He responded instantaneously if he sensed that I was having any issues. While going to the dentist is still not at the top of my list of things that I enjoy, I now can stop the “ignore it & it will go away” approach to my teeth!

Myrna, Dr. Shunk’s assistant is phenomenal! She’s knowledgeable, gentle, takes her time making sure you’re on the same page plus she just has a delightful demeanor.

Mo, the lady the clearly keeps everything running smoothly, is a great communicator on many levels. In addition, before my first big appointment, I needed a prescription and she worked overtime – literally calling me at night from home, after her own dental procedure – to make sure I got what I needed.

I love this place so much! Dr. Shunk really knows what he is talking about! He doesn’t push you to do anything you don’t need and will be 100% honest about the work you need. This office truly cares about their patients and I am so happy I have found this place! Will always be a patient here and will recommend everyone else do the same 🙂
