This practice is simply amazing ! Let’s start @ the top. From the moment you check in to the moment you check out, the patient/practice relationship feels personal not transactional, or forced and rushed, like so many healthcare providers. The office setting is immaculate & fresh, not dated and stale like so many other offices. Amenities offered include fresh brewed coffee, bottled water, and assorted other treats. The equipment used is the cutting edge latest and it is obvious that there is continuous ongoing reinvestment in the practice, not equipment and tools that have been around for 20+ years. The staff is highly trained & professional in the performance of their duties, taking time to explain all steps of the procedures being performed. The background setting while the procedures are being performed is of your own choosing- have a massage, listen to the music of your choice, or watch whatever program you choose, very relaxing and chill. Who can touch this? Most practices you go in there is canned music, elevator music, or the river, WRVR. Now, most importantly, Dr Rump- the provider- is the best, go to the website (msdmemphis.com) & take a look at her credentials. Peer around the website while you are there & you will quickly see what I am describing, so professional and polished. She and the practice are constantly evolving and improving, offering all the latest treatments and services. While Dr Rump does all this, the most important thing I think she does is take an interest in you as a person, which to me helps treat you as a patient. I have been a patient for 10+ years and every time I go in for an appointment, everything feels so new and inviting, like the first time & to me that is so refreshing that I actually look forward to the appointments to see what’s new and check in w/ the staff. The communication is outstanding- text & email reminders of appointments & phone calls asking if you want to come in early when there has been a cancellation, just out of their way to be accommodating. Who does this??? BTW, no turnover, and that is the most telling of the practice. I highly recommend making an appointment, you will not be disappointed!

Just Awesome! I don’t usually post reviews but for this experience, it was a MUST! This is, hands down, the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Christina was so awesome an knowledgeable , she really put me at ease. She was caring and very patient. Dr Rump was wonderful also. They seemed to really care about my comfort and overall dental health. They had advanced equipment, and they were able to keep me in the loop about everything by showing me the x rays and actual photos of my before and after work! To top it all off, they gave me COOKIES on my way out the door (lol kinda funny huh?! What a step up from a lollipop). If you’re searching for a very professional, knowledgeable, and caring dentist to visit, I HIGHLY recommend this place! Thanks guys 🙂

As someone who is recovering from dental avoidance, when I moved to Memphis I put in the time to research dentist that came with good reviews. For the most part Dr. Rump had good reviews; there were a few negative ones I found but I decided to give it a one time try since it was so darn close for me. A year (and several visits) later, I can say with confidence that Dr. Rump and her staff are pretty outstanding! All the good things you read about in other reviews is 100% true (although I have yet to visit with the massage chairs) and none of the negative you’ll find is true. The staff here is very responsive and caring. They also work hard to make every patient comfortable – although my mind goes blank when they ask me what type of music I want on the pandora station. The office is also very beautiful and clean. I will continue to use this dental office and refer all those I know here!

I love the standard of care at Main Street Dental. I refer all of my friends and coworkers to your office. I love everything about my experiences thus far at MSD (well the shots and drilling aren’t fun but hey you can’t do much to improve that part right?!) My favorite things about the MSD office are the amazingly friendly and helpful staff, their attention to detail in making sure that the patient experience is as pleasurable as possible, the use of modern technology for bookings and reminders (text and email) and finally their punctuality. I never have to wait on my appointment and I am always in and out in an acceptable amount of time. This is important to the busy professional. I feel like the staff delivers every time and that is exactly why I have referred so many people and will continue to do so. The entire team works hard and the patients recognize it. Everyone I have sent over has been very pleased with his or her visits. If you work anywhere close to the downtown area, you should strongly consider MSD. You can get in and out for standard preventative work within the lunch hour and I sincerely believe you won’t find a better dental staff in Memphis. I hope MSD is around for a very long time

Dr Rump and her staff are the best! I had a filling fall out and discovered that the dentist I had been seeing since I was a child wasn’t covered by my insurance. I called Main Street Dental, and they got me in the same day despite having never been there. While repairing the filling, the staff put chapstick on so my lips didn’t dry out. This totally won me over. The fact that the office emails and texts appointment reminders both a week in advance and the same day is awesome! I won’t lie…the massage chairs are the cherry on top!

This is the best experience I’ve ever had in a dental office. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. My hygienist, Lesley, was extremely knowledgeable, gentle, and witty, as we joked about the HGTV show playing above my head. I brought her a MESS to fix and she didn’t flinch; she just patiently educated me on all of the tools she was using (many of which were new to me) and the process itself. She walked me through various other things I might want to look into health wise based on my x-rays and photographs. Y’all… their chairs have massagers in them. I can’t even. And Dr. Jodi is the utmost professional with great beside manner. The whole space is not only beautifully reclaimed but state-of-the-art (I’m such a fan of the massage chair and the salt-water blast), and they even sent me home with chewy, delicious cookies. The whole process was so educational, professional, and enjoyable that I felt like I should have tipped on the way out. I actually can’t wait to go back in August!

I hate going to the dentist. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Unfortunately my last dentist in Memphis only contributed to the dentist anxiety and made me scared to even try seeking out a new dentist. I finally had to give in and search for a new dentist and hope for the best. I was referred to Main Street Dental by coworkers who go here since we work on the same street. I was a bit apprehensive but decided to go anyway. So far my experiences here has been amazing. At my first appointment they took care of me and understood my anxiety. They’ve done everything possible to make me feel comfortable and make the experience as pleasurable as possible (you know, for a dentist visit). The staff is very friendly and great about explaining things. I’ve had to rearrange appointments and they’ve been able to accomodate me easily with no fuss. The technology, the clean and modern facilities, and the cool tvs to entertain you all contribute to a positive experience. Overall I can’t say enough good things about Main Street Dental! Note: they are so good they do have a massive waiting list to get in as a new patient. My first appointment as a new patient was scheduled for 3 months out. They allow new patients to get in earlier if you can take a cancelled appointment at the last minute so if you are flexible with times you can get in earlier. If you work Downtown this is pretty effective and I recommend it.

Dr. Rump is by far the best dentist out there. Along with her staff, from the front desk to the hygienists, they are professional and truly care about your needs. I was referred to Dr. Rump many years ago and have no intention of going elsewhere. When my daughter was three, she accompanied me to an appointment because I wanted her to see what it was like going to the dentist. My daughter didn’t want to wait to have her first cleaning but wanted to go ahead and give it a try. Dr. Rump and her staff were so accommodating. My daughter is now almost 11 and has never had an issue or feared getting her teeth cleaned. Dr. Rump and her staff stay on top of current dental trends and it is reflected in their treatment. I have referred several people to Main Street Dental and they all report back about how positive their experience has been. I am notorious for grinding my teeth and Dr. Rump has taken the time to make two different custom mouth pieces for me to try and determine which is the most comfortable for me. She has also corrected poor dental work that I had done prior to coming to her office. If you are looking for a dentist, you will not be disappointed in Main Street Dental. The environment is so relaxing…from the massaging chairs, to the flat screen televisions in each room where the patient picks the channel, to the paraffin hand treatment while you are getting your teeth cleaned. It is unlike any other dental experience out there!

I have dentist-related anxiety, so I skipped regular cleanings for almost five years. I was super nervous to go in, but I had some sensitivity that I wanted checked out. The experience could not have gone better. The hygienist gently talked me through everything she was doing, and didn’t ask too many questions while she had equipment in my mouth (which I really appreciated). The amenities are great (massaging chairs, TVs above examination chairs) and you can tell they use state-of-the-art equipment. All around it was a great experience!
