I cannot describe how wonderful Dr. Burger is. I didn’t think it was possible to look forward to going to the dentist but that’s how I feel about my upcoming dentist appointment. Dr. Burger is very special. He cares deeply about dental and oral health and is passionate about his trade. I go the extra 10 miles to make sure the patient is as comfortable as possible. He has been in practice for decades and has many specialties. No matter the procedure, I feel fully confident that I am in good hands. He even called me after 2 relative large procedures to make sure I was feeling ok. He even took the time to write up a treatment plan for me, complete with my x-rays. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Burger is the best dentist in New York. Even though I live upstate I come back to NYC for treatment. This is why: I recently fell and broke 2 of my front teeth. Dr. Burger saw me immediately. He conducted a thorough analysis and explained in detail to me the extent of the damage and possible future problems. During the visits to prepare the crowns, Dr. Burger used advanced technology and procedures. In addition, his work is always pain free. He is extremely sensitive to any discomfort a patient might feel. The outcome was excellent, both medically and cosmetically. My crowns are the same color and size as the former teeth and actually look better since he was able to straighten them a bit. I’ve gone to Dr.Burger for many years and can’t recommend him enough for thorough and up to date dentistry and caring treatment. In addition, his staff is very efficient and friendly. Always available to help.

It’s wonderful to find a dentist who is engaging and fun and who surrounds himself with a caring and thoughtful staff. But, let’s face it, warmth and humor are not the prime attributes one seeks in a dentist. It’s scientific knowledge, technique, diagnostic ability, and good hands. Dr. Burger has all that, in spades. He has a thirst for knowledge, keeping abreast of the latest research and advancements in technology. But more than that, he is an artist, and a consummate problem solver. He also has perseverance; if one approach isn’t working, he draws upon his experience (and his father’s) to find another innovative approach that does the trick. And he spends the time with and gives each patient the attention necessary to address every issue that may arise with mastery and creativity. There is so much subtlety and nuance required to be a great dentist. He is a great dentist.

Dr Berger is the best Dentist in NYC. I used to be very afraid of dentists, until I had a situation and had to sit in his dental chair, yes I was mortified. But Dr. Burger was so professional with such a firm yet gentle touch that the fear started to leave me, Suddenly I was in the hands of an angel or so it felt. Not only did he correct a bad situation, but I returned to get all my work done by him. Yes Dr. Berger is the real deal, a real Doctor, with knowledge and a heart. The only Dentist to visit if you want a smart Mensch in the know.

Dr. Donald Burger is not a good dentist…he’s a great dentist! He doesn’t just diagnose and treat. He devotes time to each and every patient to improve the quality of their lives. He does everything in his power to prevent oral disease…and does it with tremendous knowledge, skill and care. You can tell a lot about a doctor by their office staff. I love them all. They are efficient, professional and very caring. Look no further…you have found the perfect dentist!

For many years I neglected my teeth because of a dental phobia. I finally found Dr. Burger about 20 years ago, and I have been coming to him ever since. He is highly skilled, compassionate and he never causes me any pain. I like that he explains what he is doing as he goes along, and why. He educates you about preventing new problems and maintaining healthy teeth and you can view his work on a screen in front of you. Dr. Burger treats your overall dental health, and recently observed a white spot on my tongue. He strongly urged me to check it out with an oral surgeon and gave me a referral.
