I have the biggest fear of dentists which Stems from my “lovely” experiences from my childhood or from watching little shop of horrors where Steve Martin the dentist enjoys inflicting pain to his clients… But I have to say it has changed over the years and Maria and her team are great! When I first started going to her she allowed me to put ear phones in while they did their thing.. of course I still needed to be able to hear them, but it helped me relax while listening to my music.. I am happy to say I have graduated to being able to sit through the cleaning without any music. They are very trustworthy and are very accommodating. I drive about 35-40 minutes just to go to her because they are that good!

I think I started going to Dr. Kim back in 2006. I am still with Dr. Kim after all these years. Why? One thing that I remember the most was that Dr. Kim called me on this Saturday morning after my dental appointment on Friday. Dr. Kim wanted to know if I was ok and if necessary she will meet me in the office right of way. I will not forget a caring personal call from my doctor.

Love Dr.Kim! My family has been going to Dr. Kim for a few years. However, today was my first visit and I am so glad I made the change over to her. I am not a fan of dental visits but her staff was so welcoming and comforting. Dr. Kim is wonderful! She listened to my concerns and addressed them in such a nice way. Now if only I could find a General Practitioner just like her. Definitely 5 stars!

The dentist is something that I always dread going to but I trusted yelp in our new neighborhood and I am so glad that I did! From the minute I called to make the appointment until we left after our appointment we were confronted with only kindness and hospitality. My 3 year old had never been before and he felt so comfortable there that he told me he didn’t need me in the room. All I heard we’re giggles while he was in there. Each of my boys left so excited when they were given $1.00 for being first time patients. The hygienists and doctor were amazing. I definitely will not dread getting my teeth clean from here on out!

Dr Kim has been my dentist for at least 7 years now. She has always been exceptionally personable and professional and everyone of her staff is kind, cordial and absolutely the best at what they do. They have all taken the necessary CDC precautions to start seeing patients again and I felt completely at ease and safe. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Maria Kim’s practice for all your dental health.

I had a dental emergency during COVID-19 stay at home orders and Dr. Maria Kim was able to squeeze me in to fix me the next day! Dr. Kim has carefully planned out her office to maximize appropriate distancing and safety precautions as a result of COVID-19. Dr. Kim and her staff are well prepared with screening questions and temperature checks to keep us all safe. What could have been a very “scary” experience due to COVID-19 felt surprisingly very safe to me and it is thanks to Dr. Kim and her staff. You can tell when people take their safety and their patients safety very seriously, so if you need dental work during before a COVID-19 vaccine is found, I would highly recommend coming here. I’ve also been going to Dr. Kim for the past 10 years but I really felt compelled to write this review because she is constantly innovating her office and utilizing technology, so the same approach applied for COVID-19 safety. I want the air purifiers Dr. Kim has in my office!

I had my first appointment with Maria Kim DMD yesterday and it was my first dentist visit in 7 YEARS! So you could imagine how nervous I was. I let her and her assistant (Irma) know and they were soooo sweet. Through the x-rays, terra scan and cleaning they were gentle and let me know exactly what they were doing (the terra scan was so awesome, they even let me take a selfie with it and they got in the pics lol). They did baby steps and let me take a break whenever I needed it. I especially loved how Maria Kim DMD took the time to get to know me a little bit when she came in and explained everything. She answered all my questions and let me know why I have the issues I have, all with a smile! Irma was very sweet too she made me feel relaxed through the x-rays and terra scan by talking to me about our common hobby throughout. The receptionist Esther was very sweet and helpful too. She broke down my future treatments and the costs for me, which was super helpful. A second assistant/hygienist came in at the end too and gave me some very helpful hygiene tips (I didn’t get his name!). I would highly recommend this place especially if you’re an anxious person like me, or if you like things explained to you, or if you simply need a dentist with a gentle touch. I’m anxious for my future appointments because they will be more intense than a simple cleaning BUT I feel much more at ease knowing this staff aims to help me and make things easy and pleasant for me. Thank you!

Dr Maria Kim has been my dentist for a couple of years now. She is really a fantastic person and dentist. Her manner is so comforting And she is gentle. Her staff is amazing, of course! Her suite of offices are sparkling clean and the ambiance is so relaxing. I just love my dentist

I lucked out finding Dr. Kim. Best. Dental. Visit. Ever. Firstly, her office is so pretty – inside and out. I could have sworn she’d had it professionally Feng Shui’d but she said she did it herself. I wasn’t able to do my X-rays – which I hate doing as I gag so much.. Dr. Kim, whom I hadn’t met yet, must have been able to hear, called out “You can do it, Ruth!” which was so personal and encouraging. Benji, a young tech with calming energy took over and actually managed to x-ray all my teeth in a way that wasn’t traumatic for me. For me, it was miraculous. All gaggers should get x-rays from him! Shame there isn’t a category for this on Yelp 🙂 Dr. Kim was so lovely and personable. I warmed to her immediately. I had been going to a periodontist for cleanings. He said I needed a filling -just from eyeballing my mouth (That sounds weird, I know :)). Dr. Kim examined me and said I didn’t need a filling, which was welcome news as I recently left my job and am on an extremely skinny budget. Last night, I bit into a peach and my tooth felt jagged. I realized – horror of horrors – one of my four front top veneers had gotten unstuck!!! I hadn’t realized that Dr. Kim could re-cement the veneer – I mistakenly thought it had to be a cosmetic dentist – and called around dentists who wanted to charge me for a full exam and X-rays (which I’d just had) and I had a bad feeling when a couple said I had to have/pay for a full exam when I told them I didn’t need one and wouldn’t give me a price range based on the veneer being fixable. I don’t appreciate businesses that aren’t fully transparent upfront. They make me nervous that I’ll wait for a hour or 2 , complete forms, have me in the chair for awhile before telling you that something this simple is going to cost hundreds of dollars. In the waiting room of one of these dentists, I thought of asking Dr. Kim if she did this. She quoted me a reasonable amount (plus I remembered she hadn’t done an unnecessary filling). I kicked myself about seeing anyone also. A a 45-minute wait and completing forms I cancelled and left.. I have an appointment with Dr. Kim tomorrow morning. I’m so relieved, firstly because I can’t wait to not look like a character from the movie, “Deliverance” and secondly because I am anxious about $ and I literately can not afford to be gouged right now for something that should be simple. If you’re on the fence, go see Dr. Kim! Whenever I listen to my gut, I don’t go wrong.

Just wanted to take a moment to write this review to say what a wonderful dentist Dr. Maria Kim is. She goes out of her way to make sure that my family and I are always comfortable during our visits. She takes her time and explains the procedures thoroughly. She is kind and patient with our young kids and they enjoy their visits. I recommend her to all our friends and family. If you are looking for a dentist she comes highly recommended.
