Unlike most people I decided to seek out a dentist when my mouth was in severe pain. Since I work on Poplar Ave I needed somewhere close and fast. I googled and discovered Dr.Moore was located right on Brookhaven. I called and they scheduled me SAME DAY… I know amazing right?!?!? Even though I was a last minute new patient I was treated with so much respect. I was greeted immediately and saw the Dr quickly. I didn’t get the best news as I needed a root canal candy is the devil. I received my treatment the same day I saw him. He made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and made sure I was never in any pain. I can’t say enough awesome things about Dr.Moore or his staff. I have found a new dentist home!!!!!!

On Presidents Day I visited the Memphis Center for Family & Cosmetic Dentistry on Brookhaven Circle for a cleaning and checkup. I simply love the friendly staff, their professionalism and customer service. Dr. Miles Moore heads the practice and is by far the best dentist I have ever had in my life and trust me, I have suffered a few. On staff is a wonderful hygienist named Charity. She cleaned my teeth with patience, precision and excellence. I knew right away she loved her job because she even hummed little pieces of music while performing my cleaning. I thought that was pretty cool. Don’t think for a minute that cleanings are all they do. I have had extensive cosmetic work done at MCF&C Dentistry and I have never been so pleased. Imagine waking up one morning, with intense jaw/tooth pain, in an unfamiliar town, 1500 miles from your regular dentist, living full-time in an RV, that HAS to MOVE OUT of your fully booked camp ground the next day,…..no exceptions! We of course immediately jumped on the internet, and called and searched in vain to find someone to see my 60 year old wife, Sue, on an emergency basis. No one wanted to get involved helping us, to fit us in, on a one shot customer deal! As we searched, all of a sudden we saw that Memphis Center for Family and Cosmetic Dentistry took emergency cases,…..and selected Dr. Miles C. Moore based on his excellent reviews, AND because our RV is named Myles! This random selection was a gift from GOD! The facility is fantastic, homey, and everyone was friendly and genuinely caring. Sue and I were both taken to a treatment suite, and Dr.’s assistant slowly worked through a thorough elimination proto-call to zero in on the problem and the tooth casing it. X-rays were taken,……and it was determined Sue needed a root canal in the tooth that had a brand new $1600 6 month old crown on it! I told Dr. Miles that we are not local, live in an RV, and if we have to spend a week or more hanging around to get Sue fixed up we will, and I will have to completely cancel, and forfeit our travel itinerary reservations from Memphis to South Carolina. He recommended a very unique root canal “specialist” that he knew personally, Dr. L. Kevin Wells, and was confident he could do the root canal through the crown due to his advanced equipment. When Dr. Miles office staff was not able to secure an appointment for us for over a week, Dr. Miles told us personally, “hold on guys, let me text Dr. Wells, and I think we can get you worked in. He told us to go get a bite to eat, relax, and he would have his staff call us. One and a half hours later, we were called, and he had “paved our way” for Sue to get her root canal at the best guy in town! Dr. L. Kevin Wells was fantastic, with very high tech equipment. Why would the staff at Dr. Miles and the doctor himself, work so hard to help two senior citizens get their life completely put back on track, in a matter of hours instead of a week? Because they are saints. Because they care about people. Because they are professionals. Because they are a well-oiled machine, …..and because we were just plain lucky. I suggest your send some luck your way, and make Dr. Miles C. Moore your family dentist.

Let me start out by saying Dr. Moore and his staff are by far some of the most welcoming people I have ever met, they will make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door….I found Dr. Moore on Google, and quite honestly just picked a random dentist and started there. I am SO glad I chose Dr. Moore first. After seeing 3 other dentists about this same problem, Dr. Moore was able to show me exactly where they went wrong and fix it. Dr. Moore and his staff are great. They all are very friendly and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. I liked that you could choose from different treatment plans to fit your budget. Before they give you a shot in the gums, they use a numbing agent. My gums were numb and I did not feel the needle. Seriously, no pain. During the procedure they kept checking to see if I felt any pain. That was a very good experience for me.

Dr.Moore was amazing. I live in Mississippi its an hour and 15 minute drive for me to go but its worth the trip. His staff was so amazing. I went in needing a huge procedure and they helped with my financing as well as staying two hours after closing time to get my financing approved and my full procedure done that same day! They went over and beyond what I could ever expect from a dentist office, it was more like family. I am so grateful and blessed to have found them and will never use another dentist. Visited Dr. Moore’s office this morning as a new patient. Thus far, my experience with Dr. Moore and his staff has been extremely pleasant. Scheduling an appointment was very easy and they followed up with a reminder the day before my appointment. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and offered water or coffee while I completed paperwork and waited for my appointment time. Dr. Moore met with me briefly in his office before my cleaning began to introduce himself and ask if I had any dental concerns. Having the opportunity to speak with the dentist before the cleaning began made the entire process seem more personal. After meeting with Dr. Moore, I was brought to a procedure room which was very clean and comfortable. My hygienist was Anna and she was friendly, professional, and informative. She was thorough and gentle while cleaning my teeth. After my cleaning I was given detailed information regard my insurance coverage and some further procedures I need done. Left with a little swag bag and a newly cleaned smile!

Called late one evening regarding an emergency, was told to come in at 7am the next morning. I did show up in excruciating pain. I wasn’t a current patient and they didn’t accept my insurance. Great experience. Easy scheduling, everyone was very nice and polite. Lots of high tech imaging, and even for a typical exam without problems, they showed me my X-rays via a monitor. The dental hygienist was super sweet and gentle — my jaw was not sore the next day, unlike some dentist’s offices. I had serious dental problems but stopped going to the dentist because of fear or anxiety. To give an idea of how nervous I was: I used to think all my front teeth, previously filled elsewhere, would fall out if I go for cleaning or if I let the dentist touch them! This is my first time writing a review as I thought it might help others who are going through the same experience. My first visit to Dr. Moore’s office left no doubt that he and his team were capable of putting a smile back on my face. Observing their confidence dropped my concerns to almost zero. I would like to highlight what I observed throughout a two-month continuous visit to Dr. Moore’s office: He is so responsible: Four days after a heavy dental procedure, I called his office to ask whether or not a symptom (which he had already talked to me about and prescribed medicine for) was normal. After a few minutes, Dr. Moore himself called me just to explain everything clearly and assured me that there was nothing to worry about. I was also told that I could visit the office at any time to ease my concerns. He makes sure you are fully satisfied with the work: He continues working until you are fully satisfied with the outcome. When I was thinking whether or not my temporary crowns could be a little smaller I did not even have to say a word. He is extremely patient and does not mind spending extra time to make you fully satisfied. The outcome is excellent: Some of my teeth had serious issues for years. Five years ago (my last dentist visit), I was told those issues would not be easily fixed without extraction/ artificial tooth roots/surgeries. Dr. Moore fixed them in less than two months. He fully understands the patient’s situation; then suggests the best solution among multiple options. Last but not least, the staff are so friendly and caring: They are great in making the environment comfortable and providing useful information. Dr. Moore and his staff deserves some type of Best Dentist and Staff of all times award. They treat you like you are royalty and immediately make you feel comfortable. The level of attention that they give you makes you feel as if you are their only patient. You develop and maintain a true sense of trust and warmth while at the Memphis Center for Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. Once you are in the dental chair is when Dr. Moore works his psychological magic and convinces you that everything is going to be all right. All your Dental phobias begin to fade. He thoroughly explains the dental issue, tells and/or shows you how he plans to correct the problem in terms that you can easily understands. This dental office is good therapy. My husband who is an extremely quiet man and rarely comments, even opened up and stated that Dr. Moore was easy to talk to and very down to earth. After listening to me brag about the quality of care demonstrated by Dr. Moore and his staff, my grown son who is afraid of needles have even agreed to go see Dr. Moore for his neglected dental problems. I had a root canal, crowns and bridgework done and I have not stop grinning and showing off my new smile. This is truly the place to go if you want it all.

I was an existing patient to start with. I had been with the previous doctor for 14 years, so he had a lot to live up to. I expected the same excellent service I had been used to. Dr. Moore definitely has not let me down. He is very sympathetic to a patient like me who does not want to feel any pain. He is very aware of any indication I may give if I begin to feel any pain. He immediately takes care of the problem. I’ve been with Dr. Moore for approximately 4 years now and plan to stay with him. Charity is one of the nicest people I have had the chance to meet. She’s been there I think a bit longer than the rest. The other employees are excellent as well. They never leave you hanging. You know everything up front about the entire procedure you will be having and they let you know ahead of time how much you will be responsible for. I appreciate knowing ahead of time. Kudos to all.

Excellent care! I am so thankful I was able to be worked in today. My tooth has been killing me and I couldn’t put it off anymore. The staff were very kind and the Dr as well. Moved to the Memphis area recently and needed a local dentist for routine cleanings, check-ups and a cracked filling that needed a crown. From the time I arrived, the office staff greeted me like I had been a patient for years. I had my initial consultation and cleaning with Charity as my Dental Hygienist. She was extremely professional and comforting. It had been years since I had been to a dentist’s office, and technology has completely changed. She was fantastic about explaining every step, and was very helpful in explaining things that needed to be brought to my attention regarding my continuing dental care routine to prevent future problems. After my cleaning and exam, she passed the reins to Dr. Moore for his initial consultation. He was very welcoming to me as a new patient, and his consultation was very direct and informative.
