Dr. Tummala is the best dentist I’ve ever had. She was so attentive and informative, I really felt 100% comfortable in her care. She has treated my entire family and we all receive top-notch care when we go in for work. Her primary goal is to help you keep your teeth, so you won’t get trapped in the constant bombardment of cosmetic treatment that many other dentists try to sell you. I love that Dr. Tummala does all of the dental work aside from the x-rays. She does the cleaning, the fillings, and any other work that you need, so she is completely hands-on in your care. Most dentists rely on support staff to do these things. She is also an orthodontist and I feel certain that she is the right person to provide this service to my children when they are ready. I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. She genuinely cares about the health of your teeth and wants to provide the best service possible

I had a broken tooth. I called and got a same day appointment. The staff was very friendly and took excellent care of me before and after my extraction. They explained everything, and talked to me about what my insurance was going to cover and what my cost would be, so there were no unexpected charges or procedures done. The tooth extraction was not painful at all. Today I am in little to know pain, and I have not had to take any medication. I will definitely be visiting her again, as well as my family. This is by far the best dental experience that I had by far.

Chiranjeevi was very “hands-on” in her practice, & as a result, there did seem to be quite a few interruptions. I had lost a crown, & had stated that in my appointment request, so even though there were like 7 different appointment slots to choose from (on a Saturday afternoon, for a Monday appointment), I had to make a second appointment to come back for a cleaning/examination. However, she took a bite wing X-ray, & gave me a temporary crown, & did not charge me anything. She also offered to help select a specialist for me, in my area, to perform a root canal. She was very thorough, & explained my options required to try & save the tooth, versus an implant.

Dr Tummala is AWESOME!! Took my 6 and 3 year old to another dentist and was told one of my boys had 12 cavities and possibly a baby root canal (even though he had no paid). I called Meyerland Family Dentistry and scheduled an apt with Dr Tummala to get a second opinion and boy was I glad I did! They were able to see us promptly and they were even able to accommodate a last minute change to our scheduled apt. Staff was very friendly and the office was nice and clean. Dr Tummala saw both of my boys and from the start made us feel very comfortable. Unlike the other Dr who said my son needed extensive work, Dr Tummala was honest with us and only recommended work that was needed (which was less than half of what the other Dr had told us). By the way her prices are very reasonable!! You MUST giver her a try!!!!

I had a tooth extraction and implant and was VERY nervous.. Dr. Tummala was very confident and calm. She worked with my closely to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I could not have gone through with it without her and it wasn’t painful. I have been coming here for 6 years. I have also had veneers and cleanings and other work done and each time she has been fantastic. I can not recommend enough.

I went to go see Dr. Tummala because I had unbearable pain coming from my wisdom tooth and she was able to extract it quickly and painlessly. She was happy to help, especially during times like this. I suppose nobody enjoys going to the dentist, but Dr. Tummala is awesome! I had to get 4 fillings and was super scared about the needle for the numbing solution. She was very good and I barely felt a thing. She also kept making sure I was doing ok during the procedure. She is very good with children, my 7 year old was so scared but Dr. Tummala put her at ease and my kid was very comfortable with her. The prices are very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

I compared dentist to others and glad I went with this office. The office is clean and plenty of parking available. The staff is beyond friendly. I was seen promptly. My cleaning was done well. The second time I came back for fillings and root canal. This is my first root canal and had no issues. I recently went to see Dr. Tummala after losing a crown over a weekend, which forced me to see a dentist, which I had successfully postponed for as long as possible. I was able to book an appointment with her, online, for the following Monday, including completion of all required “first appointment” documents, prior to my arrival at her office. On my first visit, she took a bitewing x-ray of the tooth, and referred me to a specialist for a root canal, since the x-ray showed decay underneath the crown. She explained that she does root canals, but that mine had crystallized, and therefore I needed a specialist (Endodontist). She replaced the crown for me, and charged me nothing! I made another appointment with her to get my teeth cleaned. On my second & third visits, I received a deep cleaning on the right & left-hand side of my mouth respectively. Needless to say, I was scared to death, but Dr. Tummala explained everything in advance, took short breaks as we went along, & genuinely cared about how I was doing. After we were finished with the deep cleaning, I learned that I have some periodontal issues that I need to work on, plus 3 cavities that need filling. However, once the 3 cavities are filled, & I have had my root canal, I will then be in “maintenance mode”. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and thanks to Dr. Tummala, the tunnel has not been that dark, long or scary! Oh, & I have only had to pay about $160 for my share of the deep cleaning, thus far, so the cost has been extremely reasonable thus far, and I watched Netflix during the 2nd half of my deep cleaning!! I absolutely love my dentist Dr. Chiranjeevi Tummala! She doesn’t try to sway you into doing more than what’s needed. My last dentist lied to me and told me that I had eight cavities. I was very scared going into my appointment but she quickly calmed me down and told me that I only had one. I really appreciate her honesty. Good dentists are hard to come by and I highly recommend her. She has excellent payment plans and also offers a plan for people without insurance. If anyone is looking for a good dentist this is the one to go to.

I am 24 and have been coming here since I was a child. Tummala is so incredibly sweet, reasonable, and professional. All the assistants are more than kind and extremely helpful. She only hires the best. Anytime I need dental work done, I come here. Dr. Tummala is, by far, the BEST dentist I have ever had! As a child I had a lot of teeth problems resulting in too many trips to the dentist. It was an awful experience. As an adult, I had to wear braces twice! Needless to say, my fear of going to the dentist was very high! Therefore, I had not been in a long time. When I met Dr. Tummala, I explained to her my high anxiety. Even for a cleaning! She could not have been kinder and more understanding. She uses sedation dentistry which removes any fear and her techniques are completely painless! During a procedure, she is always asking if I am ok. She is a dentist who really does care about her patients. I also appreciate that she is open on Saturdays. It’s convenient and I don’t have to take time off work. Now I actually look forward to going to the dentist! But only if it’s Dr. Tummala!

I just moved to the Meyerland area, and I was in need of a new dentist ASAP, as I was having some serious tooth pain. I looked up the dentists in the area and decided to go with this office because they were closest to my house and had been recommended to me. I was not disappointed! I called the office and Ahmed, the dentist’s assistant, was able to process my insurance and get an appointment for me that same day. Dr. Tummala had another patient at the same time, but I only had a very short wait. She was very patient and took the time to really look at what was going on with my teeth and explain everything to me in detail. She scheduled a follow-up for me a few days later for a full cleaning and to fill two cavities that had been causing me some trouble. She also advised me on how to take care of the arthritis I’ve developed in my jaw (part of a pre-existing rheumatic condition). The office itself is quiet, clean, and well-lit. Dr. Tummala uses digital x-rays rather than film, so you can see your x-rays immediately, and she’ll go over them with you to discuss any problems or potential issues. She also has Netflix, which means you can watch a movie or a tv show while you’re getting work done. It’s a little better than just sitting back and staring at the ceiling, but dental work isn’t ever really “fun.” It’s a small office and only her, Ahmed, and a dental intern, but Ahmed, her assistant, is very knowledgeable and has several years of experience. They’re a great team, very friendly, and I really felt comfortable having them work on my teeth. Dr. Tummala is experienced in performing minor and major dental work (extractions, root canals, dentures, bridges, etc.). She also works with most (if not all) of the major insurance carriers. Great place, great staff. They offer discounts for people without dental insurance. I needed a filling and a root canal; they have an endodontist who comes in to do the actual root canal (he was friendly, quick, and explained it all as he was working) and then Dr. Tummala does the filling and crown (she’s also friendly, polite, and great at what she does). I had to come back multiple times to get my temporary crown adjusted and the staff was very considerate! They fit me in right away and didn’t charge me anything extra. They always made sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. Their facilities are clean and they let patients watch netflix if there is a long wait time. Ultimately I am really pleased with their services! If you go and have any problems just let them know because they care about their patients and they’ll figure out a way to fix whatever is wrong.

I just want to say that I came in to this dentist place with a lot of pain. I’m not so sure what was happening but it was hurting so much I could not take it anymore. I went here for the first time this week, and was so excited to find this dentist office. They were taking the right precautions to keep everyone safe during Covid-19, I was so impressed and relieved. The Doctor was very nice and they were actually affordable. That’s not easy to find in a dentist office. I felt they wanted to help me and they charged me a fair price. The last office I went to for my initial exam, I had about a $400 bill for cleaning and a special high-tech X-ray. I did not go back!! I really appreciate the precautions they are taking to stay open, and both my husband and mom plan to make a visit there after I told them. I don’t get excited to go to the Doctor but I trust this office and staff and highly recommend them.
