My family and I have been going to Dr. Yang for around eight years and my experience has been nothing but phenomenal. I have TMJ and he takes care to make sure my jaw is as comfortable as can be during dental work. He listens to my concerns and offers suggestions about optimal treatment plans. Dr. Yang also does phenomenal cosmetic dentistry. I knocked my teeth out when I was 13 and had reconstructive dental work. Around the age of 21, I decided I wanted to re-do my teeth since I was a hasty teenager the first time I got my caps. Dr. Yang completely changed smile with his work. I can’t even begin to describe what a confidence boost the whole experience was. (sidenote: I literally had my first date with my husband the day after Dr. Yang fixed my teeth… coincidence?) In conclusion, Dr. Yang is trustworthy, gentle, and thorough. I am so thankful to have found a dentist I love.

I’ve been going to Dr. Yang for about 5 years. Both my 7 year old daughter and I see him. Elaine has been our hygienist. We love their office. This is the first dentist office I’ve ever had that doesn’t fill me with anxiety before I go. All the staff is terrific – sweet, professional. Dr. Yang is thorough, knowledgeable and gentle. Elaine does a great job – I see her every three months for a cleaning. I’m a physician and very particular about who I see for my health care and I could not recommend Dr. Yang more highly.

Dr. Yang and his team are amazing! I contacted him based on the reviews found here. My mother, who is in her middle 80s, lost her top set of dentures. We couldn’t find them anywhere. I called Dr. Yang and he saw her within an hour of my calling. He and his sweet staff were encouraging and so helpful. My mom was anxious and embarrassed. She didn’t want anyone to see her. But Dr. Yang and his staff were compassionate and caring and went out of their way to rush the denture order through for my mom. In fact, Dr. Yang personally drove her impression molds to the actual denture maker. That was, hands down, an amazing act of kindness. Dr. Yang has certainly earned the role as dentist in our family and I cannot recommend him more highly.

I have been going to Dr. Yang for years now and have always been pleased with the care that I received. The staff is warm and friendly, the office is clean and inviting, and the practice is run in a very professional manner. This last weekend Dr. Yang went above and beyond all my expectations to help me with a dental emergency. I called to let him know (on his day off) that I had chipped a huge corner off my front tooth. He and an assistant were able to see me that same day, and he did such a fine job repairing the tooth that most people would never know it had been broken. I was so relieved that I did not have to spend the entire weekend with half a tooth.

For anyone looking for a dentist, look no further because Dr. Yang is the best. He is honest, professional, and very clear in his communication. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming and the staff is amazing, from the moment you walk in you are immediately greeted with a smile by Mary followed by the rest of the team who love to engage in conversation. Also the dental hygienist girls are great and really hook you up when they clean your teeth. My son goes to Jade and I go to Katherine, both very gentle and very thorough. His work was skillful and unlike some dentists who seem to only care about the money, Dr Yang truly cares about his patients. Dr Yang is awesome!!! His staff is helpful and fun. Dr Yang assured me that the procedure would not hurt. (I am a huge chicken when it comes to the dentist.) He did some pretty extensive work on my teeth over the course of 2 days. He never hurt me not even giving me the shot, I didn’t feel it at all. I am one of those patients that unfortunately loves food & candy way too much, that they all know me by 1st name. (…) brief story how I came across his office was from word of mouth from my brother when my wisdom teeth were coming in. Mouth was in so much pain! I contacted Dr. Yang’s office and sure enough they made room for me with their busy schedule and went through the proper procedures and documentation to remove my wisdom teeth. I was pain free after that! I was also not in the best financial situation and didn’t have the best insurance but him and his office still allowed me to make payments for the dental care I have received and believe me it was worth every penny. We look for a dentist who CARES about his patients whether if it’s pain, emergencies, or just proper dental care and Dr. Yang and his staff possess these qualities.

The best dentist by far! Dr. Yang does a great job, and his hygienists are no different. I always get my cleanings done by Amanda! There’s nothing worse than getting poked in the gums during an already uncomfortable cleaning, but Amanda is gentle, skilled, and efficient in her work. She cleans thoroughly without spending a ton of time scraping unnecessarily on each tooth. All of the chairs are comfortable, and you’re able to watch Netflix while you’re getting any work done. Best dentist I have ever been to. I had a major dental emergency today and I called first thing in the morning. Mary answered and she immediately offered me an appointment for later that afternoon. I went in and the staff and doctor are so friendly. He told me I needed a crown and he could start the process right then and there. The anesthesia was local and almost painless when he injected me. I was able to watch whatever I wanted on Netflix while he worked so it went by really fast and I just relaxed. His assistant also super nice and helpful. Then to top it all off, he calls me tonight to see how I’m doing and to ensure that I am comfortable. Then he gives me his mobile number so I can call him if I need anything. Need I say more?

My friends think that it’s very unusual when I tell them I like going to the dentist. I feel that way because my dentist, Dr. Yang, and his staff are wonderful. Having had major dental work done, one would think I would be anxious about dentists, but in fact, I am not; I consider routine cleaning my relaxation time when I can rest and take care of my health.
Dr. Yang also welcomed my young daughter to visit the office a few times so she can get comfortable with it. Tomorrow, she has her first check up/cleaning and she is very excited.

Dr. Michael Yang grew up in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the prestigious University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Dr. Yang is also involved in many volunteer programs in our community. He has been in private practice for over 20 years. His philosophy is to provide ideal dentistry by means of prevention and education. Dr. Yang believes that a professional is a continuing student and regularly attends many advanced courses. Through his extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, including implants and orthodontics, he is able to give you a beautiful healthy smile. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Yang is surrounded by his lovely wife, Jenny, and two children, Mikayla (12 years) and Mason (9 years) and his excellent supportive staff.
