OMG! this dental office is fantastic, they work as team, the office is clean the front, the back and the restroom and everyone functions in a highly professional manner. They were able to ease my anxiety of being at the dentist. Dr. St. Jean is outstanding, he’s gentle, caring and makes the entire experience anxiety free. Dr. St. Jean extracted my teeth and I felt no pain, for real, no pain. There’s much more for him to do with me, and I trust that I will be thrilled once he complete my treatment plan. After another dentist failed to give me quality work, I scheduled a last-minute appointment at this office and was pleasantly surprised. The dental assistants and front-desk staff are all helpful and friendly. The doctor and I both attended the same university and had good conversation on that. They are super flexible, as well. I recommended my relative who didn’t have insurance visit there and they took care of her. This is now my regular office.

Midtown dentistry is by far the best dentist office that I have gone to. They put my needs first and always made sure to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Saint Jean is patient, understanding, and very careful. Hattie is very thorough and was able to transform my teeth that were on the brink of having periodontal disease. The customer service is impeccable not only with the Dr. Saint Jean and Hattie, but also with the front desk staff. I Initially had a fear of going to the dentist, however because Dr. Saint Jean makes me feel comfortable it expunged all my nervous jitters. I highly recommend midtown dentistry!!

I am a huge skeptic of dentists because of past experiences (saying I had things wrong when I didn’t, giving fillings when a second opinion said I didn’t have a cavity there). When I moved to Charlotte I knew I had to find a dentist I could trust. The first dentist was off the bat terrible, and then a friend recommended me to Dr. Saint Jean. If you want an honest team & reasonable costs & friendly atmosphere you must go to this dentist! I’m so happy I have finally found one I can trust!

Every person that I came in contact with was incredibly kind and helpful. Honestly, this type of service culture is hard to come by nowadays. At one point, I felt pretty confused about the process and what the dental plan was supposed to look like, and I expressed that to someone in the office. This was followed up with a voicemail directly from the dentist apologizing for the confusion and taking ownership of the confusion. This is a character trait that I look for in any company that I work with and anyone I surround myself with.

I found this dentist because he took my insurance and I have never been disappointed. . The staff is so professional.. dr St John is a class act and a great dentist . i don’t agree with any of the negative reviews.. For any procedure I was sent up with a office staff to go over exactly what my out of pocket charges would be . There was NO hidden fees.. hhe actually refunded me when my insurance over paid ..He provides up to date care .. Not all practices do thatans the guidelines change .. I was in denial of how bad my teeth were getting until I saw This practice .He is the ONLY dentist who has convinced me to form a floss habit after the simple information video he showed me. I had bad recession that was getting worse. I could not drink hot or cold any more . I cracked several teeth due to grinding and clinching my jaw . now to my mouth guard and some basic flossing and use of a new tooth brush my teeth are better than ever .. I work in cardiology for a major cardiology practice and dental health is a important factor in fighting heart disease… Have No reservations when choosing this practice . My whole family goes and I send everyone I can there !

I’ve been going to Midtown Dentistry since it opened last 5 going on 6 years. A co-worker recommended it. I must say that I am very satisfied. I work downtown Charlotte which makes it very convenient but I live 40 min away, in Mooresville, and I decided to bring my entire Family. We are all very pleased. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We all visit twice a year and our smile is great and healthy. The hygienist and Dr put us at ease. They do a great consultation and cleaning. They educate you on how to keep your teeth healthy. Our children are comfortable there because of the latest technology the practice offers. Dr Saint Jean is very nice and does a thorough checkup after cleaning. It is worth the drive. What’s best for me is best for my Family! I definitely recommend this practice for adults, children, family.

I went to see Dr. Saint Jean in July 2019 for a cosmetic procedure to fix the gaps in my teeth as well as to address the uneven nature of the front four teeth. His work is so subtle that most people don’t notice that I’ve even had anything done (which is what I wanted). However, when you look at comparison photos, you can clearly see the artistry in his work. It’s now more than a year later and my dental hygienist can’t help but compliment my teeth. I’m very pleased with my results.

I was in so much pain and this dentist office was so helpful. I was convinced I was in need of a root canal, or something major. They saw me on short notice, without being a previous patient. The inner office felt very clean and the dental hygienist was very sweet: they also had a tv with channels and maybe Netflix(?) located above me, which was great to take my mind off things… after an exam and X-rays and a cleaning they diagnosed me with TMJ and gave me several recommendations that immediately improved my pain levels. This office could have easily taken advantage of me in the situation I was in and recommended things I didn’t need, but the dentist was so knowledgeable and forthright and very helpful. Thanks guys!!

The staff is very courteous and make you laugh 🙂 Today was my first visit and they all made me feel sooo comfortable that i even got a little drowsy. And Dr. Saint Jean is very very professional, he has a gentle touch and speaks very calmy and gently. This dentist is great, and I disagree with the previous reviews. Dr. Saint-Jean is very friendly and professional, and most importantly, he does not rush through your appointment at all. They provide optimal, top of the line customer service and they really take the time to get to know their patients on a personal level. I’ve been coming to Dr. St. Jean for over four years, and I’m always impressed by how kind and thoughtful the staff members are. When I call, when I check in and out, the hygienist and the doctor are always exceptionally professional. A good example is last week when I was confirming my appointment. (You do have to confirm. They’re diligent about getting actual confirmations for appointments.) I’d neglected to respond to a text and so they called, and she asked me, “is that date and time going to work for you?” And honestly, I’d made it six months ago, and it really wasn’t going to be easy, so I told her it really wasn’t a great time but I did confirm I’d be there. She tried to find me another appointment this week, but couldn’t find one. I told her no big deal, I’d make it work. Three hours later (or something close to that, I may not have the exact time frame down, but it was well after I was confirmed) she called me to say there had been a cancellation and would Wednesday be better. And Wednesday was much better for me. Many receptionists would have just checked me off a list, having confirmed that I was going to make it, but she remembered me and took that extra step. I actually don’t mind going to the dentist (!) because the office is always so pleasant.

The prices are very fair compared to others around the city and if there is going to be an additional charge they always inform you and get your consent first. The staff at Midtown are the absolute best. They make you feel right at home from the front desk to the dentist chair. It is obvious they have taken a lot of time into considering patient comfort. With tv’s in every exam room, they are a great source of distraction and entertainment and glasses are provided to keep the bright lights out of your eyes during procedures. No only did I appreciate their attention to patient comfort, but their commitment to price transparency. I was provided detailed price sheets and with each appointment I was told exactly what I would be paying. I appreciated this the most as with most doctors I find I am often playing a guessing game as to how much a visit will cost me. I would absolutely recommend Midtown for its friendly efficient staff and with Dr. Saint Jean’s expertise, you will undoubtably get the best dental care possible.
