Dr. Mirci has been my family dentist for over 35 years and has become not only a dentist but a friend who has been able to fix all sorts of difficult dental problems and keep my teeth functional up to my present age of 80. He and his son Dan Mirci are both fine dentists and all the staff are competent and have a sense of humor! My wife recently had problems with a set of implants from another dentist and Dr. Mirci fixed them in short order for my now smiling spouse. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his office.

This place lives up to the 5 star rating! I had my first appointment today and it went by fast and smoothly. EVERYONE is the office is so incredibly nice! I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment because I was a new and I needed to fill out paperwork. I was seen very soon after the paperwork was done. The dental assistant who helped me so so nice and really funny, we chatted the whole time and it made things go by fast. I met with Dr.Dan and just like everyone says he is very kind and professional. Will be recommending to all my friends!

Dr. Mirci Dental has been keeping my smile in tip-top shape for more than 18 years. Both Dr. Mirci and Dr. Dan are highly skilled and extremely attentive of my comfort during procedures, including fillings, crowns, root canals, and cleanings. (Unfortunately I have needed them all.) They stay current on all new dental procedures and treatments. Each is equally sincere in getting to know me and enjoying a few laughs together. They also employ skilled and personable dental technicians and staff. The entire team makes me feel at home during each visit. I highly recommend Dr. Mirci Dental.

I wasn’t happy with my last dentist, and didn’t want to have him do my filling, so I scheduled my filling with Dr. Mirci since his reviews are good and he is in my insurance. They got me in for the filling a week after my call. There was a 10-15 minute wait once I arrived, but I was able to do most the paperwork online prior to my visit. The office is clean and the staff are kind. The dentists are a father and son team, I was seen by the father. The assistant took pictures of my tooth and let me see what work they needed to do, then took x-rays to make sure nothing was hidden in that spot. I was happy she used the lead apron to protect me since many dentists don’t seem to care about this anymore. They do have digital xrays, but still protect their patients. The office has laughing gas, which is important to me when having dental work. The dentist talked to me and calmed my nerves prior to the work. He asked me about my family and told me he had 35 years of experience. He was great at setting me at ease. They offered me a blanket and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The work was pretty easy, and he was able to make the filling flat without difficulty. They have TV’s on the ceiling, headphones, and safety glasses they have you use. I was very happy with their service and feel great. I found my new dentist!

Dr. Mirci and Dr. Dan are absolutely fantastic dentists. They run one of the cleanest, most comfortable practices I’ve ever been to. The staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable and relaxed no matter how simple or complex the procedure. Their billing and accounting estimates are always spot on with no surprises. Dr. Mirci Dental is also outstanding at getting you in to your appointment with little or no waiting. Lastly, their patient follow up and dedication to their patients is second to none. They always contact you at home following your procedure and check on your well being and offer advice should you have the need. Thanks to their great care, my whole family is smiling and able to chomp on anything we want comfortably.

Dr. Mirci and his staff are great people who have treated me well for the past ~3 years of work I’ve had done with them. I grew up in SLC and have been through a few dentists around the valley — Dr. Mirci has been and continues to be the best experience for me (by far). They know what they’re doing from Dr. Mirci to the front desk to my kind and caring hygienist Brooke. I’ve also had Dr. Dan — he’s a confirmation that the apple doesn’t fall from the tree. A small anecdote — on the insides of my cheeks I had some strange (but not painful) tissue develop that I hadn’t had before. Nothing serious — but Dr. Mirci took a look & some pictures, and went the extra mile to reach out to a contact of his at the U of U hospital to get an expert opinion and help me ultimately address the tissue. I can’t recommend them enough — take care of your teeth with Dr. Mirci Dental!

Dr. Mirci is brilliant. He provides exceptional instructions and directions. He very skilled at interacting with persons with diverse backgrounds. He stays current with the latest dental techniques. He is a truly generous educator. He is a gifted, comprehensive practitioner. My case was particularly challenging. Dr. Mirci’s meticulously skilled service, and communication preoperative and postoperative insured a positive result. I am relieved and truly grateful to him and his staff; who also demonstrated friendly, accepting, superb, service. I am grateful for his gifts including responsible pain management. Thank you Tonz

There’s seriously no wonder why this office has such awesome reviews and high ratings! The dental Hygienist Aminda (I think was her name) was the absolute best. Took her time, did everything that she needed to do with no pain. Didn’t rush me and explained everything very thoroughly! Dr. Dan Mirci himself was such a sweet guy. He dropped the bomb on me that I needed to get wisdom teeth out but he went through what I would need to do before hand to make it easier. He made suggestions of what I can do to take my oral hygiene up to par without any pushy aspect and left it all up to me to decide! I have insurance through MetLife so becoming a patient of his is very affordable!! This office offers a lot of great services and comes with great, welcoming staff members!! I’ll let you all know how my deep clean, retainer removal/ mold for a new one, whitening and wisdom teeth removal go! Excited to be a patient here !

Let me start by saying I do not like going to thbe dentist, last time I went was over 2 yrs ago.. Now I only decided to make an appt now because I broke a tooth, so figured I better get it taken care of soon. I’m new to SLC and didnt know where to go so I checked yelp and Dr. Mirci came out first so I though why not! I called and got an appt for the next day, I got there waitrd maybe 15 min and got called back to take some xrays and was told Jana will be the hygienist who’ll be taking care of me.. as I waited I was a little nervous just wondering how painful my cleaning was going to be, then Jana showed up… Let me tell you something, I have never thought it could be possible to have a good time at the dentist, until I met Jana! She was funny, super gentle and very informative, then I met Dr. Dan and he was just as nice and funny snd and very informative, safe to say I have found my dentist in SLC! Highly recommended!! My four year old needed two big cavity fillings and a tooth extraction. I felt like a horrible parent and still do. But Dr. Mirci and the dental hygienist were completely positive and nonjudgemental, I felt very comfortable. My child is already very jumpy and anxious so I worried about her staying calm during treatment. Mirci Dental offer “Kiddie Cocktail,” pain meds that relax the young patient. The Kiddie Cocktail worked like a charm. She slept through the shots and cavity fillings (first appointment) and when she woke up, she said “I like that man!” (Dr. Dan Mirci) For her second appointment, she almost slept through the tooth extraction but woke up (still numb) while her tooth was getting the final yank which took about thirty seconds). It took a few minutes for me to calm her and by the time we walked to the Financial Desk she was calm and falling asleep again. When I buckled her into her carseat, Dr. Dan Mirci walked over to the car and asked her “Are we still friends?” She smiled and nodded yes. Dr. Dan Mirci is very thoughtful, kind and genuinely cares about his patients. They gave her stickers, a note to the tooth fairy and tooth in a little box. She was pretty happy about the thoughtful gifts. I had a cleaning yesterday and was nervous to see what they’d find lurking in my mouth. Before that cleaning (yesterday) I hadn’t seen a dentist for five years. In the past when I did get a cleaning and an exam by the dentist I always felt embarrassed about how much work my teeth already had done and the additional work that needed to be done. They usually always questioned my flossing abilities too. When I saw how well my daughters treatment went, I felt motivated to have them clean and check my teeth. Janet did my cleaning. She made me feel completely comfortable and she made me laugh a lot. I had my four and three year old with me and she enlisted them as little helpers. She didn’t have to be kind and patient with my little ones but she was and I am so grateful for good people like her. I didn’t feel embarrassed at all during my cleaning by Janet and exam by Dr. Dan Mirci. I have a couple of cavities (no surprise) and a root canal. He’s going to monitor my cavities and said I have an 83% chance of having a root canal (he’s funny too). I really like how conservative he is when it comes to drilling into a tooth. It’s easy to see why people travel out of state to get treatment at Mirci Dental. I live about an hour away from their office and I feel like it’s a luxury to live that close. Me and family will always go to Mirci Dental.
