Dr.B is the best dentist you can ever go too. I have ALWAYS feared the dentist and never wanted to go. However, I recently came to Dr.B and believe me when I say he makes you feel so much better about the work you’re about to get done! He engages with you and let’s you know there is nothing to fear about. I now go with no fear and look forward to it. Dr.B is incredibly nice and a very good dentist. I also never wait a long time to get called and the two times I have got my procedures done it was fast and not painful. I recommend everyone to go see this dentist. I do not picture going with anyone else but him

I can say that I am a PROUD patient of Dr. B! Dr. B’s implant work is IMPECCABLE!!!! Myself and my family have been patients her at Modern Dental for over five years. Dr. B. and his team are really AWESOME! Modern Dental also has an awesome Orthodontics department where I bring both my daughters and I am very pleased with their progress.

This was the best experience I have ever had at any dentist office in my life!! The staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The office itself is immaculate and the tech is up to date. The best of all is Dr. B. I went in for a sore wisdom tooth and was expecting to have to do the insurance and referral dance to have it removed. However, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Dr. B was able to remove my tooth right there at my appointment for a check up. My tooth was quickly removed, all the insurance stuff handled, the service extremely affordable, and I have no pain. I was even able to go to work a couple hours later with no need for pain killers. His work is truly amazing and his efficiency made my life easier and pain free. I will be returning to this office for all my dental needs and highly recommend it to everyone out there who wants excellent dental work!

This is a follow up from my previous post. I got my permanent crown done yesterday at Modern Dental and I have to tell you that this guy Dr. B is legendary. These are the best crowns I have ever had. The service was awesome. People are very friendly and Dr. B is extremely nice and goes out of his way to make sure his patients are feeling comfortable with the process. I have found my dentist for life.

I Love Love Love Modern Dental In Torrance! Dr.Houman Baratian is awesome! He gave me my smile back & I am truly grateful to him for that. The implants I received are great!  Dr. Baratian made sure that the implants not only have excellent cosmetics, but also made sure they were properly put in place for my comfort! One of the things I appreciated about going to this dentist was the sincere care for the patients. Every visit I’ve had was a pleasant one & Dr. Baratian & staff helped me with my fear of getting those darn numbing shots lol. The staff here is very friendly & professional. If you have an emergency situation with your teeth the staff here will do their level best to get you in ASAP! The office is very nice also & has all the modern dental technology to date. The lobby is beautiful & has fresh coffee for you to make your own personal cup. Water to drink as well. It was my first time coming to this dental office, and all I have to say is amazing things. The service from the front desk was wonderful very helpful and sweet. The Dr was very helpful and was really informative. If you are in the South Bay Area I recommend this dentistry!

My very first time writing a review and im trully happy that i found this place!!I went last week as my first visit i had xrays taken and i had the pleasure of meeting Dr.B, such a great amd honest Dentist, Dr.B recommended me to have a deep cleaning which i agree since it was a while since i hade my teeth cleaned after that   I met Joanna and I have to say she is incredible!! Ive never felt my teeth soo clean, i was so scare and she was so nice!  She listened to me, reassured me, explained everything in details and was very gentle.  I recommend her service and Dr.B and all his staff  They are all very nice and respectful!

Dr. B is the best of the best! He told me things about my teeth without me even asking that I actually asked every previous dentist about before and they couldn’t answer. Dr. B is the real deal!!!  Also One of his assistance name Johnny is also awesome! He told me about Yelp & how I can get a free electric toothbrush just for liking Modern Dental. Modern Dental is the best dental experience I have ever had! Dr.B is amazing and really puts you at ease. He has the friendliest demeanor and I immediately trusted him. His staff is awesome also. I would recommend them to everyone, except he is in such high demand, I would really like to keep it a secret so I can get an appointment whenever I want, just kidding, everyone deserves the best and this is it!

My implant surgery took place January 31st 2018, finally finished and got my smile perfected and I’m happier than ever. This is one of the best things that could’ve happened to me. People literally talk about my smile everyday!  The staff and doctors here are so amazing that I’ve been traveling over state lines for the services they provide. Best dentist ever! Dr. Houman Baratian is an excellent dentist with superb professionalism. Every time I come to this office the staff treats everyone with respect and they are very helpful. I drive 30+ miles to this dentist because it is the best. All the previous doctors I have seen have no comparison to Dr. Houman Baratian and his staff. I highly recommend to anybody looking for a dentist. This is the spot to go. You will not be disappointed. It’s worth more than the 5 stars allowed

A great experience that is helping erase years of childhood dental phobia.  I will never go to a different Dentist again. Everybody there was so professional, friendly, and accommodating. The Dentist and Technician are top notch.   I highly recommend!

My Mouth was/ is a mess due to being a dental chicken and not seeing a dentist for 20 years. I was in major pain so I finally had to had to go to  a dentist. After research / reviews I choose Modern Dental. I was able to just walk in without a appointment. After seeing my condition via x ray Dr B and staff took care of me right away. Thanks to my neglect I had to have three teeth pulled.  Dr B made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I plan on going back in 6 weeks to continue repair, If you need a dentist go to Modern dental

I had to write a review. I’ve been to a lot of dentist. I have jacked up teeth. Dr. B is amazing. I don’t care what anyone says . He is the best Dentist in the whole wide world. My family has been going to him for some years. He’s patient, he works with you and most of all NO PAIN at all. He makes sure you dont feel anything.. I don’t no how he does it but he does. He’s amazing!!! I’ve referred a lot of friends and family to him. They all love him. Dr. B your the best.

I had my first visit yesterday and I have to say I was pleasantly impressed with the whole staff. Everyone was absolutely friendly and very attentive. As well as a first timer there were great perks. I received a cleaning as well, George was fantastic. I look forward to my second visit

We are fortunate under Dr. Baratian’s care. His office can take care basic cleaning, crown, root canal,and tooth implant.  He attend yearly training, use the most advanced material and most advanced equipment.  technicians are experienced and well trained.  This is our third year going there.  Dr. B’s office is always busy. best to call ahead of time.  He is very considerate, won’t give unnecessary advice and do the procedure.He is thinking on your behalf.  
One and one half month ago my husband break his crown while traveling .We don’t feel comfortable to find a nearby dentist.  We would rather come to Dr. B’s office . My husband has been keeping his teeth and mouth clean carefully every day.

Modern Dental is awesome in my books. This dental place was a recommendation from a friend that goes there. I am totally impressed by their service. Did an excellent job pulling my infected wisdom tooth. I would recommend to anybody. Excellent work and customer service

This place is awesome.Im so grateful I found this dental clinic after looking for days.I read the reviews on Yelp about this clinic and they are indeed true.Now I know why everyone likes Dr.B.He is such a great dentist with a good heart.He is very friendly,gentle,flexible,always makes sure you are comfortable and not to mention very professional and informative. I have been to this clinic 4 times,still have to come back for more definitely Bc I have a lot to get done with my teeth.My insurance is not that good so Dr.B is helping me out sooo much so I can get everthing done little by little.I think there’s only few dentist who would do that and Dr.B is one of them.Thank you so much Dr.B for doing that.That is really a big favor,no words can express how grateful I am and I don’t even know how am I gonna thank you or give back.Thank you so much again. Dr B. has changed a lifelong phobia of dentists caused by dental issues since i was a baby. I was only able to have dental work done after being medicated until now. I couldnt be happier with Modern Dental. The ambiance is very welcoming, the staff even more! Dr B makes you feel like a lifelong patient, actually he makes you feel like family on your very first visit. The prices are great, and the staff goes above and beyond to meet your every need, as they know how stressful dental visits can be. The dental assistant could be a lead dentist at any other office and you wouldnt know any difference cause of there abilities and knowlege, I have become a loyal patient to Dr. B instantly cause it is very obvious that he truly cares about his patients comfort, and outcome as if he were working on his own children. My family will all call Modern Dental Home from here on from my experience. I could go on and on and Dr, the office, the staff, the equipment, the prices, the chairs, etc. but  I think you get my point. Please give Modern Dental a chance and I promise you will be just as pleased as I am, I will personally guarantee your satisfaction!

Went in to have braces put on and had a great experience with all staff, however, Lesly at the front desk was very helpful when it came to all my needs and questions. She was extremely courteous when I was worried about arriving late and put me at ease. Lesly made a lasting impression and I’m very happy with my choice of choosing this dental office.

I can’t find the words to describe how I feel about Dr. B. I don’t know how he does it. I have major dental problems due to RI-131 treatments that left my mouth in shambles and dental work can be a problem for the dentist as well as for me. I was sitting in the chair on my first visit contemplating running out when I decided to ask another patient about the dentists in the office. She went out on a limb and guaranteed that with  Dr. B the experience would be virtually pain-free. I know that is highly unlikely but she put me at ease and I requested to be seen by him. His confidence is comforting but I prefer to be in control of my situations so when he prepped me I asked that he let me know before he used the needle. He looks at me and said “This needle?” He had numbed while distracting me. I ended up leaving in tears because I couldn’t believe he was so gentle.  Something about this dentist is hard to put into words. You feel safe with him as he talks you through the procedure. It’s over before you know it! Now I’m trying to recover from two extractions that he performed early this morning waiting for the pain to kick in. The lady was right! No pain-No meds!!! Just resting and can’t wait to return. I have referred so many people giving the same guarantee of the experience and offering to pay the bill if the experience is less than a pleasant one. Three years with him–Wouldn’t trade him for anything! I even brought my grandson who has autism and he instantly fell in love with Dr. B but unfortunately he has special needs that had to be referred out. Now whenever he has a pain with his teeth, he asks for Dr. B! Hopefully one day he will be able to become a patient of this great dentist that we both trust

Lesley went the extra mile to help me in a dental emergency! Everyone played a part in making sure I was satisfied and all my needs were met. The dentist and the staff is very welcoming and thoroughly explain everything to me. Everyone is nice! Words cannot explain how please I am with the kindness from everyone in this office! I go here for my regular dental check-ups, cleanings and orthodontics (braces). I love this dental office so much that I refer everyone I know! My sister had such a great experience that she drives all the way from Lancaster for all her dental needs.
