I am new to the area & was looking for a new dentist in this area. I chose another area dentist at first but after a month of not being able to get my teeth cleaned I decided to try somewhere else. The staff at Modern Family Dentistry were very helpful, understanding & friendly. I am very happy I found them & would recommend them to everyone I know.

The office staff was courteous and efficient. My hygienist did a great job. The dentist talked me through what he saw and the departure experience was the best I have ever had. I had treatment options and insurance ramifications explained to me so that I could make an informed decision. An excellent experience all around.

Hands down the best dental office in Charleston! Very flexible hours and schedule. I had a dental emergency, and they were able to schedule me, same day, as a new patient!!! The staff was super friendly. I was a little nervous, and they were very accommodating, and patient with me. I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a friendly environment to get your dental work. The doctor assistant was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about the procedure. A great experience overall!!!!

I’m not big on writing reviews, but my first experience at this office was so amazing, I felt compelled to brag! The office was very clean and neat. I did not have my children with me but I noted and appreciated their accommodations for children. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and so sweet. She went out of her way to make my paperwork go quickly and smoothly. I hardly waited to be seen and, as I said, this was my first appointment. My dental hygienist was Tammi and she was so kind and gentle. I absolutely hate having my teeth cleaned, but she was personable, speedy, thorough and considerate. I was finally seen by a young female doctor (can’t remember her name) she was also thorough and we scheduled some needed follow-up work. The woman I met with afterwards in the business office was also so awesome! She was mindful of my time and finances when discussing scheduling and payment. She was also knowledgeable of my insurance allotments and had no trouble helping me make a decision about my care. I am actually looking forward to being seen again for an extraction and cavity filling! How crazy is that??? Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Modern Family Dentistry and excited to build a long lasting relationship with them over the years to come!

I’m so glad I found this place years ago. They are quick, polite and always explain everything before they start. Much better than the one that begins with “Asp”. I highly recommend Modern Family Dentistry. From the front ladies to the dentists and assistants to Tina, they are all wonderful and caring!! my appointment online, was seen at the exact time as promised, no waiting. Have been going for years and have never had a problem.Highly recommend!!

Dr. Chadwick and his team are amazing! My family and I have been long-time patients, and I was particularly grateful to Dr. Chadwick for coming in on a Saturday morning to perform an emergency dental procedure. Every time my family and I go to his practice, we do not feel like a number. He and his staff take the time needed to make sure that all of our dental needs are taken care of without suggesting unnecessary procedures. I used to take my children to one of those large big box pediatric dentist centers, and they treated my children like cattle and stopped working on them when their time was up in order to meet their sales quotas. Never again. Dr. Chadwick is amazing. I highly recommend him and Modern Family Dentistry.

I have no issues really to complain about concerning this dental establishment. When you walk in someone is there to greet you and willing to take you money. Its clean and professional and my kid doesn’t mind getting his grill cleaned here so its all good. My kid needed a cleaning and he had 1 cavity. Total cost was $106.00 and after insurance my co-pay was $21.00. I’m happy with the cost and the service rendered.

My filling came out the day of my birthday celebration, and i called Modern Family dentistry at the last minute. The receptionist over the phone was very polite and sympathetic towards my situation. The staff was helpful and everyone including the doctor was absolutely amazing. They fixed my filling and now I’m able to celebrate my birthday! Thanks so much Modern Family Denistry for saving my day!

I have been a patient here since age 13 when they were located initially on Remount Road. I am not always good with keeping up with my regular maintenance but they go out of their way to make sure you are up to date. So yesterday I had to come in for an emergency visit, it was my wisdom tooth that needed to be extracted. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr.Chadwick who is always very pleasant, kind, and gentle. He makes sure you are numbed well! The dental assistant was Gracie who did my x-rays and was so kind! Mrs. Beverly assisted with the extraction and filing that I needed and as always she was as sweet as pie! It was great to see Tina and Tammie, who both of are very nice and personable! Its nice to know that no matter how long it may have been since you see these lovely people you are remembered and they’re always nice. They are like family here. You will not be disappointed with the services here! The entire staff here are Awesome!

I am one of those people that is deathly afraid of the dentist regardless of how simple the procedure will be. The incredible staff at Modern Family Dentistry always takes the extra time to help me work through my personal issues so that I get the care my teeth require without me falling apart in the process. I will not go anywhere else! Big thank you to the MFD Team!

We have going to the dentist for over 5 years. Overall I am pleased with their services. When it comes to treatment plans, I want to know options and costs upfront. They always show me several options to consider and discuss pros and cons if neeced. Yes I have have experienced billing issues but have had them resolved and reimbursed. Dental insurance coverages vary and it is your insurance so make sure you know what is covered and what isn’t. Your dental insurance will help you as well. When it comes to general cleanings etc… Chelsea is my go to hygienist. And Tamara is the go to hygienist for for spouse and son. As in any office, front desk staff changes but they always seem to have friendly, polite and helpful front desk staff. Tina handles the billing and has always been helpful to resolve any issue that I may not understand or found to be incorrect. Both Dr Chadwick and Dr K are amazing!!!! Yes AMAZING!!! I have a high anxiety when going to the dentist and they are prepared to help with previsit medications when doing dental work . I am very thankful for all their help and care. From Parrish Family
