Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing in the world. I put it off for much longer than I should have. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Goodarzi. I’m glad I went. I went in for a cleaning and she found more than a few problems. What you should know is that she’s incredibly professional and very friendly. I’ve had some dentists who fit the old Seinfeld joke- she couldn’t be more opposite of that. She’s very gentle and her staff is pleasant to deal with. I wish I had found her sooner- truly terrific dentist and very nice person.

I moved to Orange County about a year ago and finally decided to try out a new dentist here since I got tired of driving to my old one in LA. I am so glad I did! Dr. Goodarzi is so thorough, she did such a detailed exam, which is something I have not had to date – checked me for oral cancer, checked my TMJ joint, etc. She has super high tech equipment in the office – she took photographs of my teeth and was able to show me details of areas she is concerned over. I know everybody takes x-rays but she has pen sized camera that takes pictures of the tooth simply for patient education. I currently see a maxilo-facial surgeon, and an orthodontist. Dr. Goodarzi took over my care and I feel very comfortable with her steering the direction of my treatment plan. Looking forward to what this next year with her

Dr. Mona Goodarzi was my dentist for over a year. Every time I would visit she would be kind and gentle on my somewhat sensitive teeth, always concerned about how I felt during a procedure. She was even kind enough to follow up with me days later to make sure I was doing fine. I had to move away from Cali so am very sorry I won’t be seeing her any more but I recommend her to everyone!

I’m a dental student now, and she replaced one of my amalgam fillings with composite on one of my molars, and did a wonderful job. A faculty member from my school that examined my teeth even commented on how beautiful Dr. Goodarzi’s work on my tooth was, because he couldn’t even tell it was a filling on my x-ray! Best dentist ever!

I have moved around the country many times for work, every time needing a new dentist. Dr. Mona is by far the best I’ve found. She and her staff are friendly, kind, and gentle. I have extremely sensitive teeth and find my bi-annual routine dental care to be very painful. Fortunately for me Dr. Mona was able to provide top of the line dental care while accommodating for my hypersensitivity which made every experience I had with her very pleasant and pain-free.

I visited Dr. Mona Goodarzi for a deep cleaning and the experience could not have been more comfortable or easier unless it were on my couch in my living room! I originally went in for a regular check up but, due to poor dental work done by my previous dentist, I had to have another deep cleaning done. She was able to clearly point out where the issues were in my x-rays – both from my previous dentist and the x-rays performed in her office – and I felt well informed going into this procedure again. Her and her staff also worked with me to help get my previous deep cleaning reimbursed and explained in very clear terms how my insurance would work and what it would cover. I am generally very anxious going into any medical appointment or procedure and can be a tough patient to work on but Dr. Goodarzi made the experience great and I actually look forward to going back to her again! She has definitely earned my trust and I highly recommend her.

(…)Dr. Mona Goodarzi was so sweet to my daughter. She let her touch all the tools and answered the 100 questions my daughter asked her. She promised her that if anything hurt she could just raise her hand and she would immediately stop. What could have been an awful experience for a 5 year old (tooth extraction and anesthesia) ended up being a fun thing (she cried a little which is normal)
Everyone celebrated when the tooth came out! They even polished it and placed it in a nice bag for the Tooth Fairy. Dr Goodarzi connected with my daughter by discussing the movie Despicable Me 2 which my daughter adores. I, as a mother, felt very comfortable and the whole experience was stress free. My daughter came out feeling like a princess with all the extra attention she received.
Needless to say, Dr Goodarzi has become our family dentist!

Best dentist in south OC. I never have to wait to get treated, no bells and whistles here. Dr. Goodarzi is as much kind as she is straight forward. Her and her team are very talented and quick, without being sloppy or aggressive. Post-appointment follow ups are nice. Getting a call the day before an appointment as a gentle reminder is that extra bonus. I’ve gotten crowns a few crowns here and the process was practically painless. High quality work from this practice, and I highly recommend for anyone looking for a long-term dentist in OC.

(…)I found Dr. Goodarzi who saw me promptly. However, as a result of waiting so long, stress and poor nutrition, I developed a lot of cavities that were deep and large. Dr. Goodarzi treated each one successfully. She was so gentle and excellent in her work that I switched to her for all my teeth. She is also big on preventative care. She tested me for bugs that could predispose me to cavities and gave me prescription toothpaste. I recommend her to my family and friends without hesitation. She is an outstanding dentist.
A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Goodarzi grew up in Irvine, CA. She graduated from Woodbridge High School here in Irvine, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from University of CA, Irvine and continued on at the University of CA, San Francisco to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery training. She then decided to further train in Hospital Dentistry at UCSF and soon after moved back to her hometown. She continued her education here at UCLA in cosmetic dentistry and is now proud to have the ability to give back to her community. Dr. Goodarzi has established a State of the Arts dental clinic focusing on Quality Oral Healthcare using the best that the industry has to offer.
