I had not been to the dentist in a few years, and Dr. Moritis was not judgmental at all. She focused or getting my oral health back on the right track and was not pushy when suggesting treatments. Many dentists will convince you that you need massive amounts of work done- just to make a buck. Luckily Dr. Moritis truly cares about her patients and what is best for them. Highly recommended!

I was getting things sorted for my next semiannual cleaning and was surprised to see some of the negative feedback on here, so I wanted to leave my two cents. I’ve been coming to moritis for several years now and never had an issue. I’ve seen both Alan and Julia, though these days primarily Julia, as I’m always the first appt in the day. Both are personable, knowledgeable, and remember who you are. Brieana at the front desk welcomes me by name, and has been prompt in helping me sort out address updates, any billing hiccups, etc. She’s one of the most polite receptionists I’ve come across in medical and dental practices alike. Finally I always request Sonja for my dental hygienist and she couldn’t be better. She is friendly and personable, but once you’re in the chair doesn’t try to have a whole conversation while your teeth are getting cleaned, just efficiently works away, and is not too aggressive or rough (my gums are somewhat sensitive). I did get a surprise 80 dollar leftover bill the last time I went, I’m assuming for xrays or something that just wasn’t fully covered by my insurance (switched jobs recently). I have yet to see if that becomes a regular thing, but my job (and insurance) did change recently. Finally, I’ll caveat that my teeth are in pretty good shape, never had any cavities but I did have braces, so my experience may have varied since I haven’t needed any serious procedures, YMMV. I never get guilt shamed for not flossing as much as I should, but I am gently reminded of course. They know I know. Overall, I can’t complain and I have recommended this practice to quite a few people. Convenient to walk to during the work days if needed, and I’ll happily forgo zippy bells and whistles if it means pleasant people and a good overall experience.
