When my twin boys and I moved here in Feb 2012 I immediately started searching for orthodontists in our area because I knew my 11 year olds would be needing to start orthodontics soon. I searched Facebook and stumbled upon Murphy Orthodontics and called them because of how active they were on their Facebook page. I loved seeing all the fun photos and their quirky updates. It seemed like the perfect fit for our family. I called immediately and made consultation appointments for the boys and was greeted by a friendly voice on the other end, Lindsey. We chatted for about 30 minutes while she scheduled us, gathered our info, and welcomed us to the valley.At our consultation appointment I was extremely impressed with Dr. Murphy himself. Now, let’s be real moms, Dr. Murphy himself is very easy on the eyes. Let’s put that aside and focus on whether or not the man himself knows what he’s talking about. He does! The process was seamless! I’m proud to announce that today both of my boys are officially done with Phase 1. We had phase one braces removed hours ago and I couldn’t be more pleased. It was money well spent! As a single mother I really have to decide how I spend my money. I support my boys all on my own. I saved pennies over the past year to make it possible for them to have their jaw alignment and teeth corrected. I’m writing this because I want other parents to know that you can trust your money with Murphy Orthodontics. You WILL get exactly what Dr. Murphy visions your child’s mouth to look like at the end of whatever phase he determines is needed. My boys will be moving into Phase 2 once more adult teeth are present and I will be again trusting my money with the team at Murphy Orthodontics. You won’t be disappointed!

We were in Phoenix on vacation visiting from California and my sons wire on his braces came loose, I spoke with Amber on the phone and she said they would be able to squeeze him in. Now that it has been three years since I’ve had my braces off, I think it’s time for a review! 😉 Dr. Murphy’s office may be rad, but what makes he and his loyal team awesome is the personal and efficient service they’ve been providing since even before they moved in to their swanky new digs. We started out with my bottom front teeth so crooked that they were starting to overlap. With Dr. Murphy’s recommendation of going for metal braces, my teeth actually moved into place in about three months, and then the braces were on to “maintain/enforce” that straightness for six months after that. How awesome is that? Dr. Murphy’s undergrad degree is in Engineering, and you can easily sense the technical perfectionist that he is. You are in good hands here. I recall braces being painful when I wore them in middle school, but I never felt any pain this (late 30s) go around. The team gave me a “braces orientation”; including reviewing each item in a package of supplies they gave me. This really contributed positively to my overall experience, and I don’t know what I would have done without the ever-important “wax”!! What I recall is a completely professional and totally put-together team; especially Rhonda, who seems like the superhero of braces. Now, three years later, my (crowded) teeth are still straight. I wear a retainer when I sleep only, and my teeth have stayed perfectly in place. At one point, maybe 1.5 years ago, my retainer “chipped”, and Dr. Murphy fixed and fitted it back and said “it will still work perfectly”. He was right. Thank you, Dr. Murphy and team!

I was blown away by the technology of the office because I didn’t have to take impressions anymore and I really don’t like doing that and that was a really big relief. I’m 33 years-old so a lot of adults shy away from getting braces but it has been one of the best choices I’ve made. I smile bigger and I’m much happier. My daughter has been going here for several years. . When we are here we feel more like we are family than clients. They set it up to put the kids at ease and even make it fun for them with toys and other incentives.. In addition to that they often host special events for the kids to enjoy, such as movies, pool parties, Halloween parties etcetera. Best Ortho in AZ! I had the same orthodontist back in California from the time I was 8 years old until I graduated high school who I thought was great at the time. When I moved to Arizona my teeth needed some correcting from not wearing my retainer, so I sought out a local orthodontist that did Invisilign. I was not that happy with the results. About 4 years after that I met Dr. Murphy, and he convinced me to try it again. I am ecstatic about the results, and I get compliments on my teeth & smile weekly. He provides a great service, got me the results I desired, his staff was wonderful to work with, he provides a fun environment, and the whole experience was excellent from beginning to end.

If I’d had the old-fashioned metal braces I could just see the pieces of rib meat getting stuck in my teeth and brackets after every barbecue! WOW!! Patient first attitude!! I initially went in to see Dr. Murphy for a consultation regarding some dental issues I wanted to get addressed, and from the very second I walked in I was impressed. The office is very modern and clean, you can tell they take pride in setting a nice and comforting environment for their patients. I was immediately addressed when I walked in and check-in was a breeze. A few minutes later I was called in and they began the process of taking pictures, pano’s and 3-D images of all my teeth. After the imaging was complete I went into an office with Lindsay Clark, I didn’t think I could be more impressed, but Lindsay proved me wrong (more on that a little later). Dr. Murphy came in and introduced himself, he also took a few minutes to listen to my dental “story”. He was very thorough with his assessment and provided me with a vast array of options; options that I didn’t even know were possible. At that time Lindsay went over the all the options presented by Dr. Murphy in more detail. She explained maintenance, timeframe, benefits and price ranges for all the options. She was so thorough and I definitely had all my questions answered. I spoke to Lindsay a few times before my appointment on 11/9/16 and she knew how excited I was to get my braces on that day, I had re-arranged my entire schedule specifically for this day…after all, this was the first day on the journey to a beautiful smile. ROADBLOCK with the office of my General Dentist. It appeared that there was some miscommunication regarding additional dental work. LINDSAY TO THE RESCUE. She must have called the office of my General Dentist at least 5 times in one hour to rectify the situation, and in all honestly I almost lost hope because they weren’t budging, I was so upset about rearranging my entire week for nothing. 20 minutes before my appointment, she called and was so apologetic about me not getting my braces on, she offered me so many different solutions, and then she placed me on hold for a few minutes. When she came back on the line she was so excited to let me know that my General Dentist ok’d the braces!! I cannot believe how hard she worked just to make sure I was satisfied; to say she exceeded my expectations is the understatement of the year!!! To anyone in the Phoenix area, if you’re looking for the very best in the field… no need to look any further!!

We started this process at another office for our daughter and became very frustrated after 2 consultations (both approx 10 mins long) and very little interaction or explanation on her treatment needs. Murphy Orthodontics is owned and operated by Board Certified Orthodontist Dr. Chris Murphy. The practice has locations in Phoenix and Goodyear, Arizona. Our team is highly trained and motivated to deliver beautiful smiles for each patient we treat. We utilize the most advanced technology and the most up to date techniques in order to provide the best results possible. Our office is able to offer orthodontics for both children and adults in a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
