Just got back from my first appointment with Newton Dentistry and everyone was brilliant! Originally it was just supposed to be a one-off emergency appointment, but I had such a positive experience that I decided to switch dentists. Earlier today I chipped my tooth, but my usual dentist is closed with no reopening date in sight. So, I went online looking for a dentist who was both open and had good ratings. Newton Dentistry to the rescue! I gave them a call, and they scheduled an appointment for a few hours later. Everyone was super nice (seriously; they’re so much fun that I’d honestly just drop by to hang out), and they did such amazing work that I can’t even tell where the chip was. To top it all off, they have much better prices than my previous dentist does. Definitely check them out!

Dr. Finklestein has been providing excellent dental care for me for 10 + years. He always explains every situation clearly making sure that I am comfortable at all times. He is outstanding in his craft and cares about the wellbeing of his patients. I feel completely comfortable in his care. Heather is a wonderful hygienist. She is so good at her craft and is caring. I’m always impressed about the details that Heather notices and reports to Dr. Finklestein. The staff is wonderful! I can highly recommend this practice.

The most caring, thoughtful and thorough… I bring my whole family here and not only is Dr. Finkelstein great, so is the entire staff. They fit my daughter in for a chipped tooth on short notice the same day and I couldn’t be happier…. Everyone was professional and efficient, and she got her smile back!

I normally go to another dental office, but I was in an dental emergency where I had a cracked tooth. I ate into an apple really hard and cracked it. I saw that Newton Dentistry was an available dentist near my home in Waltham so I decided to give them a try. Plus, I came to Newton Dentistry as they had has some of the best dentist reviews online. Overall, this is hands down the honest and open dental clinic I have been to. They were very transparent of my dental cost, out of pocket expenses and guess what – no surprises when the final procedure for my crown was in place. Tracy was wonderful in explaining all the process of the procedure. Too often the front desk has no idea what the doctor does and cannot explain anything. But she was terrific. I would recommend this office to anyone in Newton or Waltham who is looking for a dental office. If you are looking for a general and family dentist, but can also do cosmetic and implants, this is your place!

Since work from home started I needed a new dentist away from the city. I am very happy I found Newton Dentistry. Susan made me feel very comfortable in the chair and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Very friendly. We set up a dental plan going forward to take care of a couple of dental issues I’ve been putting off since covid began. I am very pleased to have found them close to home.
